Hey everyone!  Here it is - my reaction to Demon Slayer season 3, episode 5!!!  Oh man, SO much going on here!!!!  More about Tokito's past, unfortunately we get an art exhibit from Gyokko (ICK), we get to see my best girl in action and WOW (!!) is she amazing, Tanjiro connects with some more inherited memories and comes out swinging a flaming sword lit with Nezuko's blood, oh yeah and GENYA IS A DEMON?!!?!?!??  I can't believe they fit this all into 23 mins!!!!  Sheesh!!!  I so want to see more about these flashbacks everyone seems to be having, as well as Mitsuri's sword/whip/ribbon thing!!!!  Wow!  What a great ep!  Enjoy!  ~ MH

Well, you know, if you’re worried about getting the look right for Mitsuri (that’s her name, but Tanjiro keeps referring to her as Ms. Kanroji because he’s respectful like that and she hasn’t give him permission to address her by her first/given name yet), you know… have you decided on what to do for Halloween yet? 🙃 The sword she’s using is definitely a sword but it seems like it has an elasticity to it (?), so it’s a lot more flexible? The one villager said the chief forged it, which gives you an idea how skilled he is. Tanjiro and Nezuko make a pretty good tag team when they have to, it seems like there’s always one there to pick up the other when they take a nasty hit. It was almost like tag in, tag out. I remain skeptical that the clone demon is dead because we don’t know if they were slashed simultaneously or not, and well, it took us multiple episodes to kill Upper 6 last season, and this is four. Which means that demon is stronger than Gyokko, who is rank 5. Also the whole art scene - you look like you’re watching a Jojo episode again. Come to think of it, that demon kinda looks like they escaped from Jojo. We just needed to put MENACING around the vase. It seems like every time Tokito helps someone his memories come back more. Could that be a connection? But right now he’s poisoned and drowning, so… that’s concerning. The demon used fish that use needles to attack. If this was Jojo I would ask if it was a Hootie and the Blowfish residence. By the way, Tanjiro’s flashback - the girl talking, was it just or me or did she seem very Nezuko like? And then there’s the whole Genya thing - was I actually right about the whole demon thing last week with that guess? Or is there more to it? It definitely would explain a few things. As far as why Kibitsuji turned Nezuko - he may not have done it on purpose. We might have a Voldemort situation on our hands here. But it seems that Tanjiro’s bloodline has something the demon lord (wait, this isn’t Slime!) is extremely concerned about. By the way, if Mitsuri’s really looking for a guy, I think Tanjiro’s single. I mean, he seems to check all the boxes… Also I don’t think Nezuko would kind. Just sayin. 😏

Hahah a Halloween costume isn't a bad idea actually!!! Right, her sword definitely has a unique shape to it. Good call about the chief forging it! Yeah Tanjiro and Nezuko are an amazing tag team! That's the thing, we still don't know about the demon. HAHAHAH I totally felt like I was watching Jojo!! LOL also good point about the fish being a likely reference if this was Jojo. Yeah the girl did seem Nezuko like, at first I thought it was one of their other siblings that died in fact. OMG I think you might have been right! Well, that's a good point about Nezuko's turning. HAHAHAHA oh no we're getting our shows confused :P I mean, there's a little age gap but Tanjiro does check all the boxes, and I'm guessing that gap won't mean much when they're both in their 20s or whatnot!!! Nezuko would love it, not sure how Kanao would feel though...!
