Hey everyone!  Here it is - my reaction to Demon Slayer season 3, episode 1!!!  WOW!!!!  I have so, SO many questions about the Upper One!!!  At first I was like....WHY does he look so much like Tanjiro's dad?  Then I was like...WHAT IS THAT DREAM/FLASHBACK ALL ABOUT?!?!?!?  And of course, it seems he's now shown up at the end (but probably not, because how could that be a demon?!?!).  And I loved getting to catch up with our newly awoken Tanjiro, and the beast who saved him I guess lol....Inosuke!!!!!  WOW I love him more and more each time I see him!  Tanjiro has some work ahead to get back to 100%, but first, it's time to sort this sword situation.  Throw in some missing swordsmiths, a secret weapon, and some Hashira, and you've got a recipe for one awesome season!  Can't wait for more, what a great start!!!  Enjoy!  ~ MH

Couple of housekeeping notes: First, did you forget to put in a file download link, because I don’t see one in the description? Second, I’m a bit confused as my subscription service organizer has this labeled as Season 4 Episode 1, but Crunchyroll has it as Season 3. It’s very convoluted. One of them is wrong, lol. Anyway, I know this in the back of my head but ufotable likes to say, “Hey, it’s been a little while, how about we remind you just how crazy awesome our animation department is?” The whole Infinity Castle scene, they’re just flexing on everyone. More please. 😁 Regarding the scene itself, it kind of says something when Akaza (Upper Three) seems like the most “normal” individual in the room, and the way they were paying reverence to Kibutsuji - I mean, it kinda feels a little DIO-ish, doesn’t it? Kibutsuji himself seems pretty irritated but he’s still so… calm about it, it’s somewhat scary. Also, I would like to know what the heck he was doing with all that chemistry looking stuff… and then it all blows up in his face. Possible metaphor, perhaps? It seems like he’s mostly irritated that they haven’t killed the Ubayishi (Sp?) clan yet and haven’t found something called the Blue Spider Lily after searching for centuries, which begs the question, who and what? Now, full disclosure, I didn’t go back and rewatch earlier stuff so it’s probably going to take me a little bit to get my show legs back under me, I probably will miss something. Regarding your question on the Upper One demon, they do have similar hairstyles but I did not see the demon wearing the earrings. While I might be incorrect in that assessment, I really think they might just have similar looks to the person in question. Speaking of that, the dream was strange… who’s kid was that, who’s the mysterious swordsman, and who’s the mother? But yay, Tanjiro finally woke up after two months! (Apparently thanks to Inosuke…) Seems like Kanao only speaks when she’s around him. A lot of the next part is filler, but long story short, Tanjiro ended up in a village where I was half expecting Rimuru to be the chief, lol. And yes, Mitsuri Kanroji is the Love Hashira. I knew you were going to like her… but she’s kind of like a dog herself, first she’s like people are ignoring me, I’m upset and one second later… THERE’S FOOD? 😂 Huh, the hot springs can kill physical, mental, and emotional ailments? I can think of certain characters from other shows you’re watching that we might want to let know about this place.. if you know, you know, and I’m pretty sure you do know. 👀 It sounds like Tanjiro’s sword smith is throwing a tantrum but is that really what it is? It sounds like the other smiths don’t think too highly of his work, and to be fair, he just fought an Upper Rank, could you maybe cut the kid just a little slack? The individual in the bath seems to be related to the Wind Hashira, who was pretty curt and ruthless to Tanjiro and Nezuko at the mansion. But it’s the Mist Hashira (Tokito?) he stumbles across and he is asking a kid for a key… and the individual from his dream is the same person standing behind both of them, but I really don’t think it’s the Upper One demon. It’s gonna take a bit to get everything back into place in my head, but hey, we’re off on another adventure, I’m sure there will be plenty to do! There usually is.

2023-04-13 08:16:31 This first episode for the third season was amazing and the animation a Masterpiece. I watched this episode together with my family in in the cinema. It was very special, because all fans could celebrate the first episode together. Like you, I have many questions about the Upper One Demon and Tanjirous Father. I didn´t read the manga but many fans spoil important story elements via social media. Unfortunately, I couldn't protect myself from spoilers, but since I don't want to spoil anyone's fun with this great anime, I won't reveal anything of course. I hope you can stay away from spoilers as much as possible because manga readers can be really annoying at times. In end of the episode there was really the opening for this season. The song is a collaboration between Man with a Mission and Milet. You probably know them from the second Vinland Saga OP (Man With a Mission) and Second Ed Vinland Saga (Milet). I love this Op. For me it's the best from the anime.

I agree!! Oh that's awesome that you saw it in theaters!! I'm glad I'm not the only one with questions! I don't read the manga either and always avoid spoilers too! Sadly I can't read a lot of my comments on YouTube for that reason - there's spoilers everywhere! I'll be careful! Ohhh that's probably where I know the band from!! Thanks for the info! Oh I wonder if it's listed as season 4 because of the Mugen Train movie? And/or because this was released as a movie in theaters before it aired on Crunchyroll? I'm pretty sure this is the third season, unless there was a third season that I totally forgot lol. Oh I was definitely getting Dio vibes from the whole scene! No I think you're right, we heard mentions of the blue lily thing but I don't think they've gone into the whole clan, what the flower is, etc. Right?! What on earth was that dream?! If I had to guess, I'd say that was Tanjiro's mom and dad when they were young, with him as a baby or something? And the guy who "saved" them was the Upper One??? Not sure! Thanks Inosuke, lol. I love that Kanao talks around him! HAHAHAHA I could see Rimuru fitting in pretty well there actually lol! LOL omg you're right, she is kinda like a dog! Oh dear....I do wish they had these hot springs on THAT show....!! That's the thing, is it a tantrum or is he really missing? Also yeah, poor Tanjiro, give the kid a break! This time he only chipped it too :P I feel like I remember really not liking the Wind Hashira....lol. And the Mist is hassling some kid for a key. Really strange! And yeah, that's definitely the same person from the dream, but it couldn't be a demon cause they're in broad daylight, but all these 3 people look a LOT alike, so I'm mad confused!! Can't wait for another adventure!!!!!!!!

I'm skipping episodes too much. I'm not even finished season 2, but I've watched season 2-4 finales already. And now I'm here. You know, there is a joke among the fans that each opening will spoil you will this character die or not in this season. At the very first moment of each op, we gonna see Tanjiro sudden turn to ours left. So far, Tengen, Tokitou, and Mitsuri are all facing to the same side with him, and they all survived. Meanwhile, Rengoku faced right instead, the opposite side of Tanjirou's, and he's not makimg it. I'm not sure if this is confirmed or not, and I never see season 4's op. So that's just a theory. Also, the upper rank meeting is awesome! I love Kokushibou's vibe so much! I feel like I gonna like him better than Muzan if talking about Villain's side.

That's ok! Do what you need to to catch up! Ohhh no kidding, I never even noticed that you could get that much from the intro! Omg right?! The upper rank is on a different level! I could totally see that, I have a feeling the upper rank villains are gonna be a totally different breed and prob really interesting.
