Hey everyone!  Here it is - my reaction to episode 5 of the third season of The Mandalorian!!!!  OMG!!!!!!!!!  THE CAMEO!!!!!!!  THE CAMEOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I'm still in shock!!  This was such a great ep with lots of things being set into motion towards what I'm guessing is going to be the main plot of the season.  The fight scenes on Navarro were epic and I'm thrilled that Mandalore might be reunited once again!  Bo Katan is really coming into her role as a leader of Mandalore for sure.  Probably not how she thought she would, but still mega important!  Cannot wait for more!  Great ep!  Enjoy!  ~ MH

The voice of Zeb is Steve Blum who does a bunch of voices for Star Wars and other things too. I didn't see him in the credits but it was a small part so they probably didn't bother. I do think that was his voice though.

He was in the credits Brian. They do the main cast one by one, then show a list of the rest of the speaking characters after. :)

Zeb!!!!!! Can't believe we saw the big guy here; ah man that made me emotional! First time we've seen a live action Lasat! Would love to buy Zeb a few rounds at the bar, the absolute legend. Speaking of legends, Filoni was also sitting at the bar in his stetson hat, conversing with two other directors of the shows! :D I honestly didn't think we'd see Zeb! I thought we'd see all the other Spectres as I felt he'd be too complex to do, but boy were we wrong, he looked great! Can't believe that the first Spectre we see in live action apart from Chopper in Rogue One, was freakin' Zeb! I had to stop the show there and then and check the credits to confirm! Also the music in the bar, is from the game Jedi : Fallen Order. There is a Lasat in that game playing the Jedi Master of your character, and Zeb has been married up to look like him so well! Love that nod too - you really need to play that. ;) In your intro preamble mentioning Ahmed Best, I have found out that the Jedi he was playing was a master. Hence Jar-Jar got to be a Jedi Master - suck it Ani! :P Haha Elia Kane sticking her nose in again! She's a pesky one alright. Loved this episode. Pirates versus Mandalorians, whats not to love! Loads of fun, and now the Mando's can resettle here on Navarro and help protect the world from any invaders. Should be a bit easier to train there too without having to run into giant monsters every two minutes! :D Like we are getting more of Kane infiltrating the New Republic, helping keep her true superiors one step ahead. Of course Gideon escaped, we saw that coming a mile off (plus his actor, the great Giancarlo Esposito kind of let slip he still has a part to play before all this aired). I wonder what Mandalorians could have helped him escape though? There is one clan I could think of, but unsure if thats where they are going with this; or if the Mandalorian's are being set up by the imperial remnants. Paz's speech was great. I was unsure which way he would go, though we have seen him become warmer to Din and Bo; and he shows them loyalty in gathering the troops to free Navarro. Perhaps he is a big softie underneath all that armour! The battle was so much fun. Seeing those rapscallion pirates shooting the place up, then getting taught a Mandalorian lesson. That nutcase surfing on the ship as it was crashing too, what a legend!! Gorian was a fun villain of the week, and his ship was great, with the side shots looking like broadsides from old Man O' War ships of the line. They also have a ship's wheel! :D Bo-Katan able to take off her helmet and still be recognised as someone of The Watch, she can walk both paths uniquely. Can see her trying to reunite some of the other clans we have seen (and perhaps more familiar faces?), and perhaps bring them together with Din's group. Can see this culminating in a final fight between her and Gideon, and perhaps she'll tame the Mythosaur and truly become in the eyes of all, The Mandalore. Yes Din still has the Darksabre, but its just a symbol, it doesn't automatically mean the one wielding it has any power as in Din's case and elsewhere. Its all about actions, and Bo-Katan has been leader of Mandalore before, and is a natural leader, AND she knows how to wield the sabre; which tells us that she would be the rightful owner of it. However unlike before when she felt she needed it to solidify her position, thats not the case anymore with her experiences her. Also Captain Teva is a boss! :D P.S. Hope you feel better soon! P.P.S. I have unsubbed for next month Mel as there is another reactor I'm wanting to check out who is doing a lot of my faves shows currently. However I will be back for sure the following month when you start up Bad Batch season 2, and I will catch up and chat about the remaining Mando reactions then. Take care in the meantime! :D

Sorry you aren’t feeling that well… but honestly after all the CRAZY stuff you were subjected to when you filmed on Monday - who could blame you for being in this state? XD First, honestly, I didn’t even catch that as being Zeb. I mean it went completely over my head - maybe it’s because I’m so used to the animated version. But you’re looking in the wrong place for acting credits, as the full cast list appears shortly after the artwork ends each week. And this season is eight episodes in total. You seemed a little bit shocked when you first heard about Moff Gideon not making it to trial when Teva, his commander and G68/Elia Kane were speaking about Nevarro. But recall when we had the first scene with her and the doctor that discussion point was brought up. I’m wondering why Teva specifically looked at her badge during that scene, does it mark her as ex-Imperial or is there something there? Also… given what else we’re privy to, what is her REAL angle? She could very well still be a plant for Gideon working behind the scenes. Honestly, the New Republic is becoming the latest example of what happens when governments get too big for their own good. There’s only so many people you can care for properly, and Nevarro seems to have the right idea at least. The major moral of this story a play in the quote is that “no good deed goes unpunished,” but in this case switch out unpunished with unrewarded. Greef Karga helped Teva with something and he got access to his help in return. Din and Bo both assisted in the rescue of Paz’s son, so Paz stood up for their cause when they asked for help. Because Bo has done so much to organize the Mandalorians in her covert, she was given the task to bring the other clans together. During the battle, those creatures who were being persecuted helped the Mandalorians avoid ambushing. And finally, because they helped Nevarro, the citizens granted them a place to live. I’m wondering if the Armorer’s request to Bo to have her remove her helmet not only signifies a bridge between their more strict ways and other ideals, but could it be that they’re coming around to the idea that their ideals could stand to be relaxed a bit - I mean, it’s be nice to actually eat lunch together without all the problematic logistics wouldn’t it? Also, since Grogu kind of perked up at it, I’m also wondering… is there something going on between Din and Bo? It’s hard to tell with the helmets but I might be picking up a vibe there… worth keeping an eye on. 🧐 As far as Moff Gideon’s extraction being done by Mandalorians my first thought was what Paz said in the recap about Justice as well… but if there’s a rogue sect working with him directly? Well, that would cause all sorts of problems, wouldn’t it? Just like what happened to Nevarro this week, this is why we can’t have nice things! There’s always ANOTHER problem. (To be fair the show would be kinda dull if nothing ever happened though. XD) Feel better soon!

AHHHH I know, I still can't believe Zeb just randomly showed up!!!! Like I'm still in shock! That's so awesome about the Dave Filoni appearance too! Two legends in one scene! I know, I would have thought he'd be the most complicated to pull off, effects wise. But WOW, he looked amazing!!! Oh, I've started watching someone play Jedi: Fallen Order! I really like it so far! I'm not great with games but really wanted to see the story! WHOA, no way that Kelleran was a master too....they're really rubbing it in there to ol' Anakin aren't they :P Yeah she's gonna be a problem for sure! I feel like life will be a lot easier with no beasties taking children every 2 seconds for sure haha. And it's great that they have a real home now. Pirates vs. Mandalorians, it was sure to be a winner! I'm not sure what's going on with the Mandalorians taking him either, but I figured he'd be back sooner or later. I think Paz might indeed be a big softie under all that big armor!! Gorian was a great villain for sure! He really made the most of all his screen time haha. The whole fight scene was just amazing! I have a feeling Bo's journey may include some familiar faces....!!! Wow, her taming the Mythosaur would be pretty epic. She does know how to wield the darksaber too, very well in fact. Captain Teva is so cool!!! Thank you for the get well wishes! And aw thank you for letting me know, I totally get it and am happy to see another reactor get some love too!!! LOL thanks, and yes it's no wonder, right!! :P Ohhh good call about the credits, and no worries about missing Zeb! You know I do stuff like that all the time! Yeah I remember there being mention of a rumor that he never made it to trial, but it seemed more solidified when Teva mentioned it. Hmmm, I wonder if there was significance to her looking at the badge. I wouldn't be surprised at all if she was still working for him. Yeah, I mean that's a fair point that the New Republic is maybe too big for its own good (and everyone else's). Navarro might not have the wrong idea actually! I like that twist on the saying and it definitely applies here! I love it when things come around like that!!! It goes to show that good things can have a chain reaction too, not just bad things. Hmm, I wonder if maybe this is a sign that their ways will relax a little. Having lunch together would be nice for them lol! Yeah I wouldn't be shocked if there was something between Din and Bo! A rogue in the Mandalorians....WOW, that would be a big deal!!! For everyone's cause at the moment too!!! LOL true, it wouldn't be much fun if there wasn't always a drama!!! The Zeb cameo has me really excited for Ahsoka now, and yep you will be doing Bad Batch season 2, then we'll have Visions again which should be interesting. Ahsoka late summer I believe or early Autumn; and then finally The Acolyte to round out the year, to which we still know nothing. Perhaps even Skeleton Crew with Jude Law may air before then also. There is also Young Jedi Adventures which you might want to check out in your spare time too - heck even I may give it a go! I will have to check out Star Trek : Prodigy you were telling me about, and see how I get on with that. Star Wars Celebration is happening in the next few weeks, so we may get other announcements of projects they are working on (we didn't know about Tales Of The Jedi last year until Celbration so there may be another surprise), and perhaps some movies that may be in the works too. I'm glad you are checking out Fallen Order, I'm on my third playthrough of it currently, trying to get a Platinum trophy on Playstation, and Cal and BD-1 are a great combination as they go through their story. The next game 'Survivor' is releasing in April too, so can't wait to check that out also. I was chatting on Reddit earlier about Captain Teva, and I think Filoni's next project should be him and his best bud Zeb, patrolling the galaxy doing their rounds! Me too! Yes, there's lots to look forward to! I'll be curious to know when exactly everything is coming out. I've seen ads for Young Jedi Adventures, it looks so cute!!!! Prodigy is awesome, I highly recommend it! I hope you enjoy it if you get a chance to check it out. Ohhh no kidding about Celebration! Wow!!! I can't wait to hear that news. Wow good for you!!!! I wish I was good at playing games, I would have loved to try and play it with you guys watching me lol, but that would be more of a fail video than anything else :P That's so cool that another game is coming as well. OMG!!! I would watch that show in a heartbeat!!! Disney Plus, make it happen!!!!! See you in another month!!! Cheers! ^_^

Wow what the freak! A lot happened in that episode but I still can’t get over that cameo. I know the animation series fits well and is canon anyways but actually seeing the tables flipped, having characters appear in live form series just enhances the canonical-ness. It’s not a word but I think you get what I mean. They exist regardless but seeing a representation of them come in, to let us know they’re there is so awesome

Right?! Like I'm still in shock!!!!!!!! That's the thing, we're used to live action showing up in animation, but there's something that solidifies it even further when we get the reverse. Lol I totally get what you mean! I love that they do things like this for us fans!!!!!!!!!!!!! XD

If that end scene is hinting what I think it is it's really going to shake things up for Din Djarin, Paz Vizla, Bo-Katan Kryze and the Armourer (Maybe even the entire covert). If Moff Gideon was really "abducted" by Mandalorians then I have a theory, there's a high chance he could have been liberated by Imperial Super Commandos, they're basically Mandalorians turned into an Imperial Elite Squadron with their Mandalorian armour re-painted and re-forged in the Imperial style and colours. I feel like the Mandalorian Covert are not going to take the news of imperial converted Mandalorians well, especially after surviving the aftermath of the purge. It would certainly be an interesting way of introducing them to this show and universe, hopefully Din Djarin or Bo-Katan are able to convert them back.

Oohhhhh I never even thought of that! :O That makes sense though, they're technically Mandalorians so they'd leave the beskar traces. Yikes!!! I think it will be hard to convert them....!! It would definitely create a whole lot of conflict. Good theory!!!! Curious to see if that's indeed where they're going with it!

I very unfortunately was spoiled on Zeb, I caught a glimpse of him on Twitter. I can’t imagine how I would have reacted. On the plus side, he literally looks perfect! It has me feeling really positive about if they decide to bring Hondo into live action.

Yeah Hondo is basically the mascot for Galaxy’s Edge, there to persuade you to spend your money lol. I think he’s also supposed to be the owner of the Millennium Falcon there.

I’d love to go one day, especially to get my own lightsaber. Also, haven’t seen any one mention it, but when one of the pirates mentioned the Gauntlet, they were talking about Bo’s ship. And the sorta first mate pirate was totally supposed to be Smee from Peter Pan. He had the red hat, blue and white shirt, even sounded a little bit like him. XD
