Hey everyone!  Here I am with Jojo season 2, episode 15!!!  OH NOOOO!!!!  I was NOT prepared for the level of grossness in this one!  Fortunately Jojo is thinking 20 steps ahead as usual, which is awesome, but poor Polnareff couldn't save his tongue apparently....!!!  Joseph is truly a mean cheeky boy for teasing him so about it!  After a very tense ep, we're able to subdue Enyaba for now.  But what exactly are we supposed to do now that Hol Horse took off with the car?!  Oh well, cars are pretty much cursed on this show anyway lol.  Dang, we better think of something before she wakes up though!  Great ep!  Enjoy!  ~ MH

So it was here where the last set of the Jojo OVAs had ended... Though keep in mind the first set of OVAs had the conclusion... Like can you imagine being forced to watch through the second season of Stardust Crusaders before the first? 🤣 I'd get more into it, but like Strength's Ova having the debut of Polneraff at the same time... Justice's Ova has-Well, I'll let you know what event it also had when THAT comes up. I appreciate how annoying Polneraff was to Enya though. As for the Horror Movie reference it's Night of the Living Dead, or perhaps zombie movies in general... After all even back then besides Night of the Living Dead, there was Return of the Living Dead and even Evil Dead had came out by then. Seems like even back then, there was a loooot of zombie media. 🤣

Even without movie adaptation (at that time), The Mist from Stephen King was released in 1985, so I think it would be also an inspiration.

Hi Hime :) The funny thing about Jotaro is that he doesn't open up very much, he's so quiet, it's really his actions that speak and if the start is kind of hard, he ends up growing on you. And you haven't finished, without wanting to spoil, I'm just going to say that in his upcoming fights, you'll also see that he has guts. This episode holds its horror movie roles really well, between the disgusting, confusing and mysterious scenes, the atmosphere is very heavy. Of course it refers to the Zombies movies, but I think Araki must have read Stephen King's The Mist too, to come up with the idea of using the fog as a stand. After all, if you know the Silent Hill video games and the films adapted from its games, the fog also plays an important role and Stephen King's The Mist is cited as a reference. But don't worry, there will be a reference to The Shining too, later on, with a character who, come to think of it, looks like Jack Nicholson. Hol Horse was for a time planned to be part of the group and I think it's after this double episode, there are illustrations where Hol Horse is with the other jojobros which demonstrates this, but Araki finally came back on this idea. There you go, another example of Polnareff and his toilet curse, he can't be quiet about that, especially with Joseph having fun with it. But that's also what makes this part like the "real" beginning of Jojo. The introduction of the stands, the Jojo who is not the only one to defeat the enemies, a real notion of groups, this is what will remain the basis of the other part to come.

It’s kind of hilarious how much the mangaka likes using Polnareff’s dialogue to twist the knife into Enyaba and he’s so clueless while doing it that it just enrages her to a level above where she started. But you know, you thought the son was a bad cookie, where do you think he got it from? Hol Horse crawling out from under the couch is kind of trippy but since we’re going for a horror vibe, I’ll allow it. Speaking of horror vibes… when you’re hiding from a monster never look through the keyhole! Oh, by the way, you thought Polnareff’s tongue situation was bad…? Let’s just say there’s more where that came from…! Seriously, if I was Polnareff I don’t think I’d ever go in another bathroom on this trip. Find a private tree somewhere, it’s got to be safer than this. Jotaro isn’t any fool though, but the whole cat and mouse before he called out Enyaba is pretty funny. I can’t tell if he was doing it on purpose or it was more of a comic moment. So now our crew is stranded in the middle of a Pakistani graveyard, with a crazed psycho who wants to kill all of them and no method of transportation. I’m gonna regret this later, but what else could go wrong? Right? 😅

Hello Melissa your reaction to the two episodes was very entertaining. Your videos help me a lot to get through the current exam phase of my studies, because they give me a good mood and I have more motivation to study after watching them. 🥰 The Justice fight is one of the funniest and at the same time scariest stand fight in Stardust. I love how Polnareff annoys Enya without even knowing it. Also the appearance of Hol Horse was unexpected but I love his character so much. I was really hoping he would join our crew at some point but the fact that he killed Avdol ruined that hope. For these episodes I have 2 funfacts. 1. did you notice that Enya only bandaged her hand because otherwise our boys would have noticed that she has two right hands? She was pretty well prepared for the fight but remember: a Joestar/Kujo is always smarter than his enemies 😉. 2. Kakyoin also put a wrong name in the guestbook "Tenmei Kakyoin". Tenmei was supposed to be Kakyoin's first name. But Araki (the mangaka) decided to use Noriaki. But this little detail is a nice Easter Egg.

Whoa, that's really out of order, wow! I can't imagine watching it that way! I could see Night of the Living Dead, Evil Dead, or basically any zombie movie! Spadeas - good call on The Mist!!!! I've never seen or read it, sadly! The Fog makes sense too! No pirate ghosts, but I can see the similarities for sure!

kamenriderhime

Hi Spadeas! :) I know, I'm not sure how he ended up growing on me, but here we are! I can't wait to see more of him! Heavy atmosphere for sure, they're doing great with the horror elements! Good call on The Mist! Oh, I'm looking forward to the actual Shining reference! I'm actually terrified of games like Silent Hill, but interesting note! It would have been interesting to see Hol Horse as one of the group, hmmm! Poor Polnareff!!!!! Joseph is so cheeky!!!!!!! I can see this arc being a big basis for the foundation of newer Jojo for sure!

kamenriderhime

Lol it was pretty funny! True, I guess the apple doesn't fall far from the tree! Yeah they're working the horror vibes really well in this one! OMG seriously about the keyhole! OH NO!!!! Please tell me there's not more where that came from! Hahaha I hear you, I'd never be able to even enter a bathroom again, but then again, a private tree sounds like a great excuse to throw a tree stand in here. :P I couldn't tell if Jojo was being cheeky either, but it was fun! OMG, this is Jojo, literally everything could still go wrong!!!!! :P

kamenriderhime

Hey!!! I'm so glad to hear that! It makes me really happy that my videos helped!!! ^_^ Good luck with your exams! I agree that it's the funniest and also scariest! Enyaba's annoyance as Polnareff just makes more and more comments is so good! Hol Horse could be really likable if it weren't for Avdol! Ohhhh I did not notice that about the bandage situation! Good call! Also interesting easter egg about Kakyoin signing the wrong name too, I love the inside reference about his name as well!!! Thanks so much for your kind comment and for the info!

Woof here I was thinking my boy Polnareff was in trouble yet again. Always getting himself into trouble in a bathroom. I’m so glad he’s safe. The little toilet licker 😮‍💨👅🚽

The end of Justice! I don't think she's gonna be a danger anymore to our crew, but seeing that she's as evil as her son, I thought she would have died in that battle...well time will tell (and as always, my poor compatriot Polnareff can't have a break for 24 hours straight) Loved your reaction, gonna watch the next ones :)

kamenriderhime

Yeah, I would have guessed she'd die in battle too, this was unexpected! Poor Polnareff lol! Thank you so much, hope you love my other reactions!!! :)
