Hey everyone!  Here I am with Jojo season 2, episode 13!!!  OMG!!!!!!! What a great ep and great homage!  The line from the ep rings true - if there can be a boat Stand, why not a car Stand?  I also love the smoke and mirrors going on here, considering what the car really looked like and the fact that the dude had one really really muscular arm and that was it lol.  This one took some fast thinking and a little slight of hand too, from Jotaro!  Oh yeah, and Anne's back, yay!!!!!!  Great ep!  Enjoy!  ~ MH

Hi Hime :) You did have the reference to Christine, that one is rather obvious. I don't know if others have talked about it, but this episode is a good example, there is a ship between Jotaro and Kakyoin in the community. Joseph is so memeish with it's "Oh no" and "Oh my god". It was already the case in part 2, but it continues here and the two voice actors have done a great job to render it. It is only indicated in the insert, but the name of the stand user was ZZ, of course in reference to the ZZ Top. Next week we will face Enyaba and I'm just going to say that if you like Stephen King work, the next double episode might please you.

Hello Melissa, thank you for the great reaction as always. This episode isn't one of my favorites, but your video makes it very entertaining. I saw the jojo scene in botchamainia and i'm glad you didn't see it because it contains a big story spoiler for the end of part 3. I wanted to inform you (maybe you already know) that Part 3 is divided into 2 arcs with 24 episodes each. The first arc shows the crew's journey to Egypt. The second arc (Battle in Egypt) is about the adventures in Egypt and the final battle with Dio. With a total of 48 episodes, Part 3 is the longest animated Jojo Part. Our crew still has many exciting fights ahead of them. The next fight with Enja is one of my favorites in the first half. I'm looking forward to your reaction to this fight. :)

I get the feeling at this point they’re just trying to make us (the audience) afraid of everything that’s supposedly normal. Now that being said I haven’t seen the movie you keep referencing, but my thoughts are more along these lines: What if Road Rage actually had a personality? I also got a few Fast & Furious vibes from this episode in terms of the amount of sheer ridiculousness there is. By the way, nobody pointed out they broke the fourth wall again: When it looked like Jotaro was burning the stand user said “this is the end of Part Three!” I just realized Jotaro is channeling Charlie Brown from Peanuts. Good grief… Also don’t let Polnareff drive…. Better yet maybe we should all stop getting into moving vehicles, it doesn’t end well! (Of course, I mean… I’ve heard NYC traffic is way worse than this…? Ba-dum-tssh! 😎)

I gotta say that stand was really impressive though. Man these guys are able to laugh after being put through the wringer is amazing. Honestly from this horrible car chase to mirror monsters and demonic dolls and zits with minds of their own, I would have thrown in the towel ages ago. These horror people know what they’re doing with these concepts. I wouldn’t want to go through any of these ordeals. Vroom vroom 🚗 🛻

Oh wow, I don't think I realized it was two different VAs, I figured it was the same VA putting on an older voice this part!!! I didn't catch the reference to ZZ Top, good call! I'll be sure to keep skipping it if I watch Botchamania again soon lol! No kidding about the arcs, that's interesting! I'm kinda glad though, I don't wanna say goodbye to this crew or story anytime soon! I've seen the next two eps now and wow, they were really something!!!! Lol I could see that for sure! Oh I could see some Fast and Furious vibes too! Yes, they did break the fourth wall, that was so fun! Hahahaha of all the things to reference, Charlie Brown! I think any kind of vehicle is a risk for them at this point!!!! HAHAHA we already did Jojo in NYC, total missed opportunity to not somehow villainize the traffic :P (Although to be fair maybe it wasn't as bad back then lol.)

Finally some plot progression ! Now Enyaba will go herself to take care of the Stardust Crusaders, and soon enough, Dio will have to come !...Right? Good reaction, gonna watch the next ones right now :)
