Hey everyone!  I'm back today with Kamen Rider Geats episode 21!!! WOW!!!!!!!!!!!
This one had me going right up to the end you guys, holy crap!!!  They are throwing so much at us in this one - a CRAZY looking new rider, Daichi teaming up with Jyamato, the possible real reason/cause of this whole thing being revealed (the goddess), and oh yeah.....CAN'T FORGET ABOUT THE REAL DESASTAR!!!  Wow, Sae really truly cared for Neon and was moved/changed by what she was doing, despite her true role.  That's beautiful and heartbreaking all at once!!!!  So where in the heck do we go from here?!  I never saw this one coming, gotta be honest!  Can't wait for more!  Great ep!  Enjoy!  ~ MH

You could probably see why I was real tempted to edit my post last episode, BECAUSE I SHOULD'VE KEPT TO MY GUNS! NEON WAS THE IMPOSTER THE WHOLE TIME! THE POINTS! THE POINTS DAICHI GOT IN THE FIRST ROUND! THEY MADE SENSE THE WHOOOOOOOOOOLE TIME! ....But that'd also be pretending that Neon wasn't my THIRD guess, fourth if Sae had a hidden side to her. I just always thought Sae was too straight forward to be a *good* imposter, though while they never gave us a dark hidden side... I thought they pulled out a good excuse for why Sae would possibly go all in if she had been an imposter. I had always felt like Neon was the good "left-field" kind of answer though, because she's usually so supportive with people and she even has Beat Buckle which is the most supportive buckle of the bunch. She's nice and will tend to get along with people more often than not... However there's also the fact that she kinda sorta gotten 2nd place in her first DGP? She may be a cute kitty, but cats are scary when the claws comes out. xD ...Also speaking of predications, Sae should've left the Zombie buckle with Keiwa. Because if Neon didn't use her plot armor to save Sae, I betcha Sae would've died. No wonder she was so willing to help out Neon by not outing her as the imposter. I'm real glad Sae survived, she was pretty cool, and even cooler than I was hoping she'd be. ...But that also breaks my prediction about the rosters for any potential Rider vs Jyamato Rider. xD It really seemed like that all the riders who were alive(and not a protagonist) were just jerks who probably wouldn't want to work with others before hand... But for SURE now probably had a good reason not to really help out their teammates. xD It seemed like the only person alive that would want to work with him was the Old man from the last game, and while he's very friendly and heroic... Physically, he's not very reliable. xD Meanwhile the Jyamato team would have ALL the Riders that the protagonists would most certainly like to have on their side, especially if they had an option to choose between the two. xD ...But seems like Daichi and Sae throws a wrench into that Theory, but...Well, Daichi probably fits better as a villain. Also I'm loving Gazer, I feel like he's a perfected Gai since he's just got a lot of Charm that Gai didn't have. Plus I'm not sure if he's got OCD, if he's just like: "How DARE you get a spec of dust on me, you PEASANT!", or just REALLY prefers to keep clean and tidy... But I do like that as a berserk (or a "How DARE you" xD)button I feel like a good villain NEEDS that kind button that can just so easily wound their pride like that. I liked how Sae fought in this episode... Especially that one more where I felt like she paused her movement just to throw the enemy off... That's some classic fighting game stuff there. xD

Hi Hime :) I see that you too are going on the idea that the goddess of creation would be Ace's mother. When I heard that, I immediately thought the same thing and I remembered a crazy theory I had (as often), where I evoked the possibility that a Kamen Rider served as a source of power for the Kamen Riders participating in the game and that their power would therefore be limited, especially in comparison to the gamemaster and producer now. It wouldn't surprise me if I wasn't far from the truth with that. I must admit, when I saw Sae running and finding his family tied up by the fruit bomb, I first thought of a nightmare, Sae would have been traumatized after what Keiwa had suffered. Until Tsumuri said it was the return of the time bomb games and then I realized it was true. About Michinaga, I'm still hoping there's more behind his intentions, but I'm starting to wonder if his transformation into Jamato might cloud his ideas. He would become a monster in body and heart. What I like about the discussion between Ace and the producer is that they are both trying to glean any information from the other without letting their guard down, almost on an equal footing. But the indications "not of this era" increasingly suggest that Ace is a special case compared to the other participants. When at the end, sigh... I was torn. As much as I was happy with myself to have seen just for Neon and that Sae was hesitant to denounce her, as much to see her sacrificing herself and protecting Neon broke my heart. You know what I think of these two and frankly, I want to see them both happy. But after a moment of reflection, you know what is worse? We have already seen what happens to participants who are "retired" or who are lost in the end, their wish is destroyed, in the sense that it alters their personality. Neon agreed with her mother and Keiwa didn't care about world peace. So now that Sae, who wanted to keep her athletic level, is eliminated... I imagine very well that she will no longer continue the sport or no longer support her family since she was the source of her wish. If in the next episodes we see Neon meeting a Sae who no longer recognized her and changed like that, I couldn't bear it.

Yep I think my theory is correct then, as long as Buffa has the Zombie buckle equipped he's immortal, an unkillable bloodthirsty zombie jyamato rider is incredibly dangerous even for Ace. I'm scared for anyone who gets in Buffa's way now, also I did not see the Desaster reveal coming I thought for sure it was Sae I was NOT expecting Neon at all.

I mean, I thought the same thing when they mentioned “Goddess of Creation,” and we already knew Ace had been around for quite a while so the theory adds up. I don’t think you notice this in the intro because you’re usually off ranting already but one of the cards they hold up to the camera literally says, “who is a back stabber?” Regarding Daichi, my guess is Beroba recruited him after he was eliminated. You’re right - he wasn’t “killed.” - he’s still alive. That’s why he made the remark that the idea of a Jyamoto wearing his face made him very uneasy. Clarification from earlier episode I forgot to mention: the Jyamoto are not dead Riders, but they are copying faces and quotes from them. Which is why Keiwa got so triggered in the first place. Speaking of Keiwa, Kekera set up a gift mission for him to get two buckles and he got both swiped. His sponsor isn’t going to be happy. The DGP Producer is always around food when he’s not doing his own Henshin, is he perpetually hungry or something? The rider is pretty cool looking though. Honestly, I think you’re giving Michinaga too much credit. He lost the one thing he did actually give two rats tails about, and now he’s just out for revenge. He doesn’t care who or what he has to step over or destroy in the process. To quote a different franchise, he’s in this state: “some men just want to watch the world burn.” He wants every Kamen Rider destroyed: that includes Ace, Keiwa and Neon. There’s something to pay attention to during subtitles and that’s when a word is italicized which means there’s an emphasis on it. The producer commented that Michinaga’s presence was remarkably REAL. So what does that mean? Is he actually not a part of the system to begin with? There’s more going on with him than first glance would suffice. Finally, speaking of first glance, that was a clever twist, pulling the rug out from under everyone like that. First I should point out you’re acting like being the Desastar is the same as a villain - it’s not. It’s merely a different role in the game. They still have to complete their mission but they must complete their extra assignment as well. Everyone knows Neon isn’t a bad person, she’s just been given the role of the monkey wrench. But of course she’s not gonna let someone die over it - I think part of the reason Sae covered for her was she was being so instrumental in saving her family right down to the bomb diffusion with one second left. It seems Chirami set her up to get caught by putting a mission card where Sae would find it. So there’s more than one sabotage mission going on here. Neon did say she wasn’t holding back anymore, though - but if she isn’t caught next, she wins. I wonder what lengths she’s going to go to and if anyone will figure it out? I guess we’ll all have to use the old melon and figure it out. 🍈

Gazer is bar none my favorite suit in Geats so far. White and gold is such an amazing color combination

Manny

Oh wow it’s true what they say always expect everyone to be an enemy. Definitely right about Neon/Sae here. Beautiful and heartbreaking for sure. 🤧 Also Gazer is a top notch suit 👌

kamenriderhime

Yeah it's looking that way! The way he's acting too, it's especially scary to think about. Right?!?!? That was such a twist!!!!!!!

kamenriderhime

Hi Spadeas! :) Yeah that seems to make the most sense so far! Yeah that theory doesn't seem so far off now! Oof, I'm so glad Sae's family was okay, that would have been brutal! That's a good point that Michinaga might not be in his best right mind right now due to the transformation. I know, watching that scene with Ace and the producer was such a game of chess!!! I agree, "not of this era" was very telling! I know, the ending with Sae and Neon was devastating but also heartfelt!! OHHHHH I never even thought of that with Sae....that would be terrible!!!! I really really hope that doesn't happen, but based on what we've seen, it could!!! :O Oof!!!

kamenriderhime

Ok I'm glad I'm not the only one thinking it! Yeah, makes sense Daichi would go make a deal. Gotcha, I was kinda confused on that, so they're not the ACTUAL dead Riders. Lol yeah Keiwa's gonna be in some trouble for those swiped buckles. I mean I can't say I blame the producer for being around food lol but it could be some kind of hint about him being voracious or something? Hmm, interesting about the subtitles, also the "real" statement is really interesting! That was a great twist right! I agree and I'm pretty sure I've said in the past that being the Desastar doesn't necessarily mean someone is "bad". Neon's got her reasons but she's also doing a lot of good. Who knows what lengths she'd go to though! Can't wait to see the next one!

kamenriderhime

OMG I know!!!!!! You were right the whole time lol! Lol Kitty has claws for sure! Yeah Sae was in big trouble there with the buckle. Yeah it's too bad about your prediction for the Jyamato riders! Daichi does fit well as a villain I suppose! Hahha omg perfected Gai is a great way to put it with Gazer! Yeah Sae was awesome here!! Can't wait to see what's next!!

Senpai

I just knew there was SOMETHING off about those points. 😂 It was scary I was right about Buffa though, even down to Lopo's plot armor not being enough to save herself. 😱 BTW...I've waited like more than 6 months, but I finally got my Pre-Orders for some collector's stuff. o: I got the Juuga Driver from Kamen Rider Revice, and I have to say I'm really glad THAT is the only belt I'm getting from Revice... Because it can double as a Revice Driver when you use normal Vi-Stamps. 🤣The Juuga Vistamp is great because it's got voice clips if you hold the button down, all of them from George. You better bet there's some great voice lines in there, especially his English Ones... Like: "Hey. Hey! HEY!" And "*What?!*" 😂 And I got the Memorial Geartlinger(Either 1:1 or near 1:1 replica of the transformation weapon of Zenkaiger), and that's actually pretty impressive. From the way it's constructed, you can't see the screws. o 3o Heck it even covers up the on/off switch with the same panel that hides the batteries. I feel like compared to other Tokusatsu collector items I have... It does a much better job at hiding the 'seams', so the speak. o 3o

kamenriderhime

Yup!!! Oh I know, it was scary! WHOA!!! That's awesome, glad you finally got your stuff! Even better that it's multipurpose! Hahahaha love that there's English lines from George! I would have fallen out of my chair if you'd said one of them was him screaming "G-- D---" though hahah! Sweet, sounds like great quality! Always nice when there's a nice clean finish like that!

Senpai

IT DOES. ...Or I think it does? I'll have to confirm it when I get home on Thursday. xD He doesn't scream it tho, if I remember right.

Senpai

"Daddy" is also in there, but it's a part of another voice line. 🤣

Senpai

Riiiiiiight? But we got plenty of good lines. Cx Also I'm getting Sae's and Daichi's ID Cores shipped out today. O: I'm surprised that I'd get Sae's ID core before I got Neon's. 😅 It's just awkward having the weapon for Beat, but not the buckle. ...Ah, but I thought of a good question for you... What Animal would you choose if you were a DGP Rider? And what two colors would you choose for your ID core? O:

kamenriderhime

Hahah yes it's still really well stocked on good lines :P Oh that's awesome! Wow, that was fast! Maybe they have more of Sae's than Neon's? I hope they all ship soon, it's awkward to have an incomplete collection while you wait, I'm sure! Ohhh that's a great question! Hmm, hate to steal from our girl but I'm gonna have to say cat, and pink/purple for the colors since they're my favorites! However I'd also find a cute puppy dog to be acceptable :D You?

Senpai

Well the Beat Buckle I'm getting is a USA release(through shipping, not on store shelves), so... I'm going to assume they do releases in batches or something, considering I got like nearly every Buckle shown before the Bear Buckle. xD As for the ID Cores, Sae and Daichi's are limited(they were magazine extras). It's also Japanese Only, so it's why I'm getting it now. 🤣 Also nice. Cx I'd probably be a husky with midnight blue with black... Or a sloth with brown and green. 🤣

kamenriderhime

Oh okay! That would make sense about the batches then. Ohhh ok, well if they're limited then that's probably the cause for the delay like you said! Ohhhh yours sounds so cool!!! A husky or a sloth would be really fun!!!

Senpai

The husky would be cool, though I'd imagine sloth's helmet would be much like Punkjack's. xD Just a goofy teddy-bear version of a sloth. So I got the ID Cores in TODAY, and it came with the magazine as well. xD Seems to be an activity book, BUT... There's one bit of information that I think you'd appreciate from it. o: Remember when I thought the two Glare-Controlled Riders were Ben and John, back with the first Game Master? I couldn't get a good look at their ID cores back then(other than upon a REAL close glance, finding out it wasn't Ben or John's ID cores), however this magazine gives me a good picture of it... To be honest I thought it was like a turtle or something when I saw it on broadcast, HOWEVER... There might actually be two(since there was the pair of them, after all). One is a Rat, and the other seems to be a similar breed of dog to Bond from Spy x Family, I'm not entirely sure though. I'm not entirely sure if that's actually canon, but it does explain why I thought it was Ben and John since the Rat's ID cores looks pretty similar to Ben's. That's one mystery I didn't expected to be solved today. 🤣 ...I just had a wonderful thought. If there's a Big team battle, Ben and John would be on the Rider's side. o:

kamenriderhime

Lol it could be similar for sure! Whoa!!! A rat and a floofy dog like Bond....!!! That does somewhat address the mystery of Ben and John's!!! Lol nice detective work! OMG I would love it if Ben and John rushed to the Rider's side's aid!!!!!!! We'll see what happens I guess!!
