Hey everyone!  Here I am with Jojo season 2, episode 8!!!  Dang, another REALLY bizarre one lol!  The Stand here was so creepy and just really enthusiastic!!! Also pretty vulgar!!  Poor Polanreff, he really thought his way out of it though, the mirror trick was great!  But that end scene.....I do NOT care for the programming on channel Dio you guys!!!  That was super creepy!  Also, I loved seeing how Joseph's Stand can work with other screens.  But you guys, KAKOYIIN?!?!?!  Nooooo!!!!!!  Tell me it's not true!  Guess we'll find out!  Great ep!  Enjoy!  ~ MH

Hi Hime :) Enyaba can be translated as grandmother Enya, the "ba" being a contraction of "Oba-san". So here you have of course a reference to the Irish singer Enya. And you got it right, Enya's son is the one who killed Polnareff's sister. The insistence on the two right hands of Enya is there to put us on the path. The orangutan is called Forever, it's a pun with a wu-tang clan album, called wu-tang forever, since it's the orangUTAN FOREVER. That his stand is a boat that moves by itself obviously refers to ghost ship stories. Polnareff talking about a diarrhea problem when talking about the crew, is the first of a long series of Polnareff incidents with poop and the toilet lol. You will quickly realize that Polnareff is often at the heart of problems ridiculing him. Polnareff's adversary is called Devo the cursed, in reference to the rock band Devo (which I mainly know thanks to the parody of Weird Al "Dare to be stupid"). Does a killer doll remind you of anything? You said it, it's a reference to Chucky. Well there are of course all a lot of cursed or killer doll stories, but Chucky is the best known, especially if you associate vulgarity with it. The next episode has a dog, so I prefer that you prepare in advance. But you will also see the meme with Kakyoin, which may make you react there too lol.

So I’m thinking we should start having you do a report after each episode of this show. I mean, a show like AoT raises your stress level… a show like this raises your weirded out level. So after each episode you should assign a rating between 1-10 of how weirded out you are. 😁 Honestly, all these people wanted to do was just relax in a nice hotel room. Nooo, we can’t even have that. So, to clear up a bit of things, Singapore is a very strict city in terms of its laws. The scene with Polnareff regarding the piece of trash and the cop kind of reflects that. I remember a case where an American teenager did something over there a couple decades ago - and while he would’ve gotten a slap on the wrist for it here, he was cained in public. The moral of this story is don’t break the law there. Considering the mangaka is such a fan of pop culture I’m going to guess that this particular piece was inspired by Chucky, who is far more well known. By the way, the cringe meter isn’t going away - it’s gonna get worse… hope you weren’t planning on a nap after this. Still not feeling well? Maybe we both need to check for Stands again… Kakyoin’s a traitor? Let’s see… has he been singled out or attacked, or… wait, is that how they know where they’re going? Also, you do realize that every time you play this show you start the DIO channel… Oh! You’re concerned about Volume a lot, it might not be a bad idea to make a note of the different settings you use for each show so you aren’t as worried about setting it up prior? Thought I’d mention it before I forget. But the real tragedy here, guys… I don’t think any of our crew are going to be getting their safety deposit back after those events… 😬 😅

I would have thrown that fill out the window if it was in my hotel room. No just no. But I’m so in love with Polnareff rn. God bless the Speedwagon foundation. He’s still helping us to this day 🥲 👆. Man that whole torture scene was scary. When the mention of balls was mentioned it scared me even more cause it’s this show. I’m shore they’d go there if they could. And that is just ugh 🤢🤮😱🤯! I love Polnareff even more. I’m even more glad he’s joined. He’s fantastic. I hope the week passes fast because I need answers Kakyoin is another character I’m in love with. He’s very cool and calm I’m hoping for answers with him. Man this show really draws you in with so much angst. Great reaction! Can’t wait for next week!

Hello Melissa. I hope you had a good week. Well, these episodes are kind of creepy. Especially Episode 7. That's why this episode is one of the most disliked episodes in Jojo. When I first watched this I was creeped out just like you. I never saw such things in animie before. Because of that Jojo is for me most unique show. And it gets even more crazier as times goes on. Episode 8 had a very cool animated Polnareff fight and I´m very proud of him how he handeld the difficult situation. This was pretty epic! Now the big question is: Is our best boy Kakyoin a minion from Dio or not? We hope for the best! Have nice weekend :)

Hey there, hope you are too! :) Yeah last ep was SUPER creepy, I can see how it's not a fan favorite :P I have a feeling Jojo did a lot of things that are really, well, bizarre even for a more mature anime. I both can and can't believe that it gets crazier from here! Polnareff did awesome!!! By now I've seen the next ep, but I was pretty darn worried about Kakyoin after this one!!! Have a great one!!!

Hahahahaha same!!! I'm guessing that's why the doll had to basically incapacitate Polnareff cause otherwise the obvious choice would be to YEET that sucker!!! Omg I can see why, Polanreff is pretty awesome! I know, even from beyond the grave, Speedwagon is still helping us :D OMG the torture and just the language was really really disturbing! That's the thing, on this show you know they might actually go through with it :O Polnareff and Kakyoin are so awesome, they haven't even been with us that long but they contribute so much as unique characters! I would have never guessed that! That's a good point about ghost ship stories! OMG haha good to know I have more poo humor to look forward to :P Oh his name is Devo, interesting! Hahha Weird Al, nice reference! Yeah I figured Chucky was the most obvious one! And true about the vulgarity, although I think some of this would have even made Chucky blush maybe! OMG I've seen the next ep and the dog scene sent me through the roof, uggghhh!!!! I'd almost forgotten about this show and dogs >.< I can take a wild guess what the meme is and I am SUPER uncomfortable with it hahahahaha!!!!!

LOL this whole show is like a stress test sometimes :O Seriously, can we not just have a time out so these poor people can relax?! Nope! WHOA, that's intense about the law, I didn't know! Chucky seems like the obvious answer, yes. Jeez......I've got that to look forward to lol! Haha someone send the top doctors from the Speedwagon Foundation please!!!! I mean, it would make sense that Dio always knows where they are if there was a traitor there right?? LOL omg noooooo you're right, this whole thing is the Dio channel depending on your perspective :O About the volume, you might have to take that up with Crunchyroll because every ep seems to be different >.< Yeah I'm scared of what the hotel bill will look like after all this....!!!
