Hey everyone!  Here I am with episode 24 of Spy x Family, yayyyyy!!!  Omg I loved the little, erm, date / chat here???  Haha!  I love that Loid thought he could make the moves on Yor, but drunk Yor wasn't having that!  Although I wouldn't exactly call it romantic, I do love the dynamic here!!  And the shopping story - omg soooo cute!!!
Becky lives like a supervillain for sure LOL!!!  I love how Anya is pretty much clueless except for the loving having a friend part.  Sheep omg!!!  I think it meant a lot to them both!!!  Great ep, one more to go, sniff!  Enjoy!  ~ MH

Hi Hime :) When Loid says he invites Yor for a drink, I thought like you, is that really a good idea considering how Yor is with aclohol? But it's okay, it didn't go too wrong lol. Loid going into "twilight" mode when he thinks Yor has feelings for him is also, in my opinion, a way to hide his own under the guise of "professionalism". But we can see after the kick that he can't figure it out, just as he can't stand on his legs anymore after Yor's kick, he doesn't know on which feet to dance with her. But opening his heart and sharing a piece of his past with her also shows that his relationship is no longer "just" professional. If Loid was just Twilight with Yor, he would never have shared the memory with her. Regarding them, I really think there's the beginning of something, but they're so unused to the actual romantic relationship, neither of them has noticed. Loid has been a spy who's been fooling his world for years and Yor only lived for his brother, having a partner you can rely on and let your guard down with, is unusual for them and they're just figuring it out. Now let's go to Anya and Becky, they are both so cute and good fashion models too, even if Anya goes very far in this area lol. But we often saw Becky as a good friend and a pivot for Anya, without realizing that the reverse was also true. Becky is important to Anya as much as Anya is to Becky. I know a lot of people ship Damian and Anya, but if this one doesn't work, Becky could take his place. But that's my lesbian shipper heart speaking lol.

Oh this episode... I really wanted to get this part adapted, and it didn't dissapoint ! The relationship between husband and wife is only getting stronger, the flashback with Becky was wholesome...and I think that I now know why Becky and Yor are my favorite characters ! They both love Loid, they go at their own pace, and heck, they can even have the same style xD Loved your reaction, and now the finale for the second half of season 1...be strong, Hime! 2022-12-31 00:09:56 I was wondering if you were going to remember to WAKU WAKU or not… you’re playing with fire again. “I’m surprised that whole thing didn’t shatter…” - on any other show we’d be talking about Yor’s skull, but in this case we’re more concerned about the lamp post. 😂 Speaking of rubbing off on people - now Loid’s the one getting the overactive imagination - although, to be honest, Yor telling Yuri about this - yeah that seems about like the actual chain of events. I can see it. There’s a certain amount of cringe whenever one of the Briars gets near alcohol because you just know something weird is going to happen. It’s kind of funny after he got kicked that Loid was sort of relieved. He said that wasn’t romantic, it was true rejection. Right before he passed out. So there’s a theory that men are attracted to certain personality traits in a mate, nothing scientific of course, but they tend to seek out the same qualities they see from their mother. So Yor singing that lullaby might have a underlying effect on Loid. Loid also said the last person to surprise him that much was his instructor, and that something about Yor in general “throws him off.” Boy, sometimes the smartest guys can’t see the forest for the trees, huh? In Yor’s case, I think she was trying to accept the idea of giving up the role - but she just can’t bring herself to do it. But I’m not sure if it’s romantically inclined yet… they’re both great together, but for her, it’s a comfort zone. I think part of it is that it’s just the opposite of what she has to deal with when she goes out on missions and it reminds her what it’s all for. I guess you could say… based on the way the night ended… Loid gave Yor a little chin music? Boy, is Becky s bad influence. Not only did she teach Anya about shacking up, but she rented out a whole department store. This is definitely Bond supervillain material. But I think more importantly she’s realizing she’s actually got a friend despite her weird fetish with the dad. Also, poor Loid can’t turn a corner without some girl obsessing over him, can he? Does anyone get the feeling the fashion montage is just the mangaka showing off (or the anime studio in this case?) Of course, it’s gonna take a lot to make Anya look bad in something. But of course what caught Damien’s eye wasn’t her clothes, but I think it was her positive disposition. She’s having a good time without all the pressure, and really couldn’t care less about “expectations.” A happy girl is going to shoot up the “noticeable” chart easily. I suppose you kind of needed this after everything else this week. You only get one more WAKU WAKU chance for a while though! Speaking of which… It’s official! It will return! And in more ways than one! Christmas came early! Hi Spadeas! :) Yeah thankfully it could have been worse I guess! I couldn't agree more about Loid's misinterpretation! That definitely threw him off! So true, this isn't just business anymore! Such a good point that they probably don't even know what a genuine romantic relationship looks or feels like, but there's some sparks here for sure. And some closeness! Anya and Becky were too cute, and I'm sure you're not the only one who thinks there's ship potential there! So true that we often see Becky playing the friend role, but Anya really contributes too!

Hahah I actually didn't even do it on purpose, it just happened! The best kind of Waku Waku! LOL so true, they kinda defy physics on this show! Yeah Yor's imagination must be rubbing off for sure, but I agree that the Yuri thing would be just our luck on this show! OMG Briars and alcohol do not mix!!! True, maybe there was some relief on Loid's part that he didn't have to go through a "fake" romance. I was totally thinking that about the mother aspect, I don't think it's any coincidence that they'd emphasize that. Hahaha yeah Loid definitely is getting the vibes from Yor but can't seem to piece it all together! I agree, I'm not sure if it's strictly romantic here, but there is something keeping her here. And it is just so different from her usual, erm, tasks! Hahahaha Yang would be proud! LOL Becky's totally that one friend who's a bad influence!!! She'd be the cutest Bond villain ever! Not with a face like that, Loid can't turn a corner without attracting some attention!!!! :P But yeah, it's sweet that at the end of the day they're really genuinely good friends to each other. Hahaha yeah the fashion show could totally be showing off! So true that when Anya's being herself and not worrying about the mission or whatnot, Damian notices even more. It's true what they say about confidence and being yourself! Just one more Waku Waku - so sad, but SO AWESOME that the second season is greenlit, woohoo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That just made my day!!!!!!!!
