Hi Hime :) Mina remembers the time she gave direction to a villain to protect her friends, which inspired Kirishima (the flashback when he fights to protect Fat Gum). Because Mina recognized that the voice of the villain at the time was Makia. He wasn't quite as big as he is now, but this was her first encounter with a villain. Since he has the same strength as All Might, he broke Gran Torino's leg with one hand without any worries, when on the second blow, it was directly to the body indeed... Of course, for a long time, MHA was still very "soft", not so much death or serious injury, but since AFO's entry on the scene and All Might's retirement, it was necessary that peace supported by just the shoulders of a single hero, was going to tilt in the wrong direction and we see some of the results. This arc is a point of no return and you haven't seen the end of it yet.

I think it’s cause of just how tense I’ve been the past few episodes, but what happened to Gran Torino didn’t hit me as hard as it should have. And yeah, Aizawa’s quirk is gone, we’re royally screwed now. Can’t wait for next episode…

Nathan Poulain Cigrand

Nothing bad. Ever. Happened. EVER! ...until it does. Then we're all screwed xD About your stomach, you could say...you're hungry for more delicious sadness to come? :,D I really liked your reaction, I could see myself when I watched it a few days ago :p Be strong, and until next one ;)

kamenriderhime

Hi Spadeas! :) Yes, I recognized that clip! Ohhhhh she recognized his voice! OOF, that injury looked really, really bad!!! That's the thing, they've been pretty shy about actual death and carnage on the show. Omg, I'm excited and scared to see it!!!

kamenriderhime

Right, it happened so fast too! OMG!!! No....was really hoping someone would have something up their sleeve....oh crap!!!

kamenriderhime

Hahahaha yup!! LOL!!!! My stomach is a glutton for punishment apparently!! I'm so happy you enjoyed it!!! I'm gonna do my best to stay strong!!! :D

Cody

I thought if anyone would be safe it’d be Deku and Endeavor cause of the family stuff. Now I’m not even sure of that. At this point I think everyone but Deku is fair game. I’m not ready for this!

kamenriderhime

Right!? That's what I'm thinking too, Izuku is really the only one that's guaranteed....ugh!!! My stomach's in knots just thinking about it haha

2022-12-31 00:14:12 This was such a great episode and reaction. If I ever thought this show had chill that thought is long gone with this season LOL. I agree that many characters have gone through great development however unfortunately some characters will not have as much focus because of how many characters there are but I guess that’s true of all shows. It just feels like the author could have chosen to have at least a few less characters when it comes to the students like maybe 4 less students from class A would have been better. Also I think being paranoid is a good thing this season. I love seeing Momo in this leadership role and seeing the plan come together. Not everyone’s quirks were going to be useful against Gigantomachia but I love how many of the kids powers were part of the plan especially the girl who can split her body into many pieces acting as reconnaissance. Momo just creating explosives is an awesome but funny image. I think Mina believes Midnight is okay but is also trying to make herself and others feel better but I’m over here being like don’t say that stuff you are going to jinx it. Gigantomachia running at them & falling really close to Momo is terrifying. I know it wasn’t the time but some of the league just being in the air for a second when Gigantomachia falls is hilarious to me. Everything they did to open his mouth with their abilities and teamwork was so smart especially the girl who controls objects taking control of Kaminari’s clothing to put him into a position to attack. I’m sorry but Compress being able to launch his marbles from his prosthetic is so cool. Unfortunately for us Gigatomachia is so strong that just breathing out is enough to blow everyone away. It sucks to see Momo going from a confident smile to a devastated frown. I love that she had a backup plan. Mt. Lady jumping in was great but I was worried the big guy was just going to chomp her fingers off. Mina is amazing and I think besides being an awesome quote the line “melt your heart that’s frozen with fear” is an encapsulation of her character because whenever we have seen her face villains she is scared but still fights in spite of that fear. It’s a good representation of what trauma can do to someone with Mina going back to her middle school self. I think what happens is beautiful/poetic since in the past Kirishima froze and Mina moved now it’s the opposite and means a lot for their characters & friendship. The voice acting when she screamed his name was incredible. It’s so impressive that he didn’t get hurt when such a strong character crushed him. I always love Kirishima’s determination but especially here with you say run playing. It was great when the pros showed up especially Majestic complimenting Momo since she took a work study with him. Unfortunately for all of us Gigantomachia has more powers and can get bigger which means there wasn’t enough of the medicine to put him to sleep. I am still hoping it was enough to at least slow him down at least a little. After I was able to calm down I have to say Mina with her hair down looks amazing. I think the show did a good job of showing how injured Shigaraki is they actually had him close to death. I understand why Endeavor would think this but telling Shigaraki that he has no conviction was not a good idea. It was so tense as everyone was shocked that he could still move. I love his big speech here because of how it rings true even if the solution to the problems is not what Shigaraki wants to do. Talking about heroes hurting their families must hit Endeavor really hard. Hero society is corrupt but he can only see the bad because of his experiences and can’t see all the heroes who truly want to and are helping people. I really like him talking about how the society is why heroes and villains are a thing. I love that he talks about why he gets stronger as Izuku is shown because of their parallels. I love that Endeavor just needed some time to recover and it wasn’t the let the villain monologue trope LOL. The bad news is that Shigaraki is pushing himself past his limits looking like a demon. Gran Torino thinking about the decision to put Nana’s son up for adoption is so sad and of course he would feel guilty having been there because even if the intention was good that decision created the monster that is before them. Also metaphorically Shigaraki can only see the unemotional back of his grandmother and not Nana crying in anguish as Grand Torino conforts her. The damage inflicted on GT is so bad it was absolutely shocking and the fact that there isn’t time to grieve for him shows how intense things are. In his mind Shigaraki is probably thinking that he can make his convictions a reality if he can just get his quirks back which is why he becomes so determined to get to Aizawa. Seeing him punch through Ryukyu’s hand made me cringe. It was crazy to see Izuku of all people strangling Shigaraki talking about never forgiving him. I can’t believe he caught the Wyoming smash with his teeth. It was very censored compared to the manga where his teeth and jaw were destroyed. It sucks that no one was even able to jump in front of Aizawa because the bullet was so fast. Also in the manga it was so fast it broke his leg and completely twisted it backwards. I agree with a lot of others that this was Shigaraki’s plus ultra moment and while it’s terrifying/hard to watch it’s also very compelling for a villain/character. It’s a sign of great writing. Great discussion & awesome reaction. Keep up the great work. :-) <3

Hey, sorry it's taken me so long to get back to you! I'm so happy you enjoyed my reaction! Momo did awesome here for sure! LOL the League catching air was pretty funny! Machia is just so dang OP. The way that Mina and Kirishima's middle school stories were brought full circle here was awesome! So true that Shigaraki was in bad shape here, and yeah, telling him that did not help matters at all. You can say a lot of things about him but he's got resolve! Yeah the family talk really affected Endeavor, you could tell. The villain monologue trope lol!!! The whole situation with Nana is devastating because it actually ended up creating this situation. I know, the fact that all this damage is happening so fast really emphasizes how fast moving and desperate things are right now! Ooof poor Ryukyu! I know, Izuku really went into rage mode! Yikes, that does sound even more intense in the manga! Ick, even the bullet scene was more intense! Totally great writing, couldn't agree more! Thank you so much for all the kind words!!!!!!!!!!
