Hey everyone!  Here it is - my reaction to season 3, episode 19 of REBELS!!!!  Oh no, Chopper's turned to the dark side!!!  Not really, but heck those Imperial jerks for possessing him!!!  But since he and AP have a long history of, erm, immature squabbles, it took a bit for everyone to realize it lol.  Oh yeah, remind me to NEVER MESS WITH HERA, WHOA!!!!  Also was that AP singing at the end, what in the world?!!?!?!?  What a fun, quirky ep!!!  Enjoy!!!  ~ MH

Oh boy, last episode before the big 3. This is only other episode besides Iron Squadron that might not be the best, but the humor is so great in this one that I’m fine with it. Especially AP-5 singing, just so random and hilarious 🤣

Who knew after watching the first season that Hera would be so scary. Oh and good job collecting all 7 Dragon Balls.

Poor Wedge, having to suffer AP-5 and Chopper arguing that whole flight trying to one-up each other and referencing famous lines with "anything you could do (I could do better)" from Annie Get Your Gun! Chopper chasing that mouse droid! I love the cat references with him. :D The scene where Wedge goes to the loo, was actually a big deal at the time, as we had never seen toilets in Star Wars before! Now we've also seen them in Mando, Andor and probably elsewhere - another first for Disney; move over George Lucas! :P Zeb really enjoyed shocking Chopper with his bo-rifle. You can't blame him after all the grief Chopper has given him over the years! Said it before, NEVER get Hera mad!! Her and Chopper could bring down the galaxy in their fury if they so wished, and perhaps we can see why Chopper is, as he is, because Hera is frightening when angry - and he uses that side of her as a trait, to get away with what he does! I LOVE that they go full-on Disney at the end when AP-5 is singing in space and feeling at peace, its a lovely surreal moment. I heard that had he not been rescued, he'd have catalogued the stars around him before losing power and drifting onto eternity. Chopper is actually apologetic - briefly - at the end with AP-5 and Wedge, but then why would AP-5 believe him, he's Chopper!!! Love that he quickly gets over it and the sounds of his arms coming out resemble the sound of sharp knives, just before he hits them! You never know what you'll get from this show, fun, silliness, heavy, drama, themes, lore, or here, musical numbers!! :D

So, Season 3 only has 22 episodes. And Season 4 has 15. We will be finished with Season 3 next week. Crazy how close to the end we are. We may be finished with Rebels in just 2-ish months, just in time for Mandalorian Season 3 lol

Yes, Melissa will be almost caught up with the rest of us by then. I'm sure she'll be starting Bad Batch afterwards and season 2 of that is starting January also, so she'll be able to watch that with the rest of us if she continues the two episode per week schedule for the first season. And then as you say Brandon, Mando season 3, Ahsoka after that, then maybe The Acolyte? I'd personally love another animation to run with Bad Batch since we are getting all this live stuff. Been saying it for a while, I'd love an animated series with Luke and R2 going off on adventures, and they can still cast Mark Hamill for the role too. With all the fleshing out Filoni has done with Ahsoka, we could do with more Luke also.

Boy, it’s a good thing you didn’t try to drink anything during this episode. Poor Wedge… he just wants to fight for freedom but now he’s got two screaming kids in the shuttle. Listen up you two, you shape up right now or we’re turning this series around and going home! AP-5 might be effective but he certainly is full of himself. He certainly likes to toot his own horn a lot. “The Empire overestimates droids constantly… that explains all of Chopper’s success.” Wow, shots fired much? AP-5: “Oh, how I’ve missed Imperial hallways.” Yeah, you’re on your own on that one, Bob. You’ve seen one hallway, you’ve seen them all. Now when the Controller was talking about the chances of them finding the rebel base as opposed to giving up the plans, I immediately thought of Han Solo: “NEVER TELL ME THE ODDS!” 😂 Look, there are three things certain in this universe: Death, taxes, and Chopper being a relative jerk to everyone. Wedge might be fairly new, but… none of us want to live in a world where Chopper is… NICE! Speaking of which, he became Mafia Chopper with those guns. It’s fine and dandy until you mess with Hera… don’t make her angry… even Ezra was backing away. You won’t like her when she’s angry… (the fact that she’s also green works well with this meme. 😉)

Lol this was fun episode xD AP-5 being dragged back into the group at the end reminds me of Squidward finally having some peace and quiet then inevitably being hauled back by the likes of SpongeBob and Patrick. I guess we’ll never hear what was about to transpire out there 💫 🪐 I really loved Hera showed in this one. There’s not much to say about her worry and care for her group, her Chopper! It was such a heartfelt moment counterattack hehe. This one was a delightful surprise. It’s probably one of my favorite episodes. Also I love the necklace Mel! 🐉

It was!!! Omg, I could totally see the SpongeBob comparison hahha!! I wanna hear the rest!!!! Hera was awesome, love the bond with her and Chopper too!!! Oh yay, thank you for the compliment on the necklace!!!! It was tough collecting all those dragon balls but totally worth it for the fashion statement! ;)

Hahha I know, and the references were so fun!!! Oh yeah, that was a total cat move wasn't it! Oh that's a good point, come to think of it, I've never seen a bathroom in Star Wars before that! :O Lol you weren't joking about Hera! Good call about Chopper having some of that as well. Hahahahha the moment at the end was totally Disney! Aww yeah, it's not like Chopper to be apologetic I guess, even for a second. Knife arms are much more in character!!! Good lord, you really never do know what you're in for!!! What a treat!

Oh right!! I thought there were eps 23 and 24 - can't believe I'm finishing season 3 so soon!! At this rate, I'll be done with Rebels just in time for Mandalorian!!! I think I'll go ahead and watch that first, then start Bad Batch, since Disney + seasons are typically fairly short. So many good series coming!!! Wow! I agree Saltire, more Luke content would be great!!!

Hahahaha for real! Oh I know, Wedge is having a weird day. Lol it's totally like having fighting kids in the car! Yeah AP is, erm, confident I guess lol. And he's ruthless when it comes to ripping on Chopper! The hallway thing is tough to understand for sure lol, but to each their own I guess. Oh yeah, I can see how that'd make you think of Han!! Hahahahha that's pretty certain :P Chopper being nice?! Bizarre!!! Chopper with the guns, omg. There's an action series waiting to happen! Yeah Ezra is NOT to be messed with!!! Oh hahah I see what you did there with the green :D :P
