Hey everyone!  Here I am with Red vs. Blue, season 10, eps 1- 4!  Aw man, here we go....!!!  What a great way to kick off this season!  I love seeing more Freelancer action in the past, only now we get it in the present as well!  And on top of that, we've added Wash (or Church, depending on who you ask lol) to the mix!!!  And we're all working together!!  It's epic; feels like the culmination of every joke and character arc we've ever done on this show!!!  Speaking of epic, how AMAZING are the freelancer action scenes though?!?!  We just got started and I'm having the time of my life!  Can't wait for more!  Great eps!  Enjoy!  ~ MH

So just a tease. My fave character comes in next episode. The hint is, North is very close with them. Without spoiling anything. So the moment you see this character you will know. I love that character to bits. And I feel you will to.

You know, assuming the UNSC bureaucracy hasn't noticed they were part of a decommissioned project and is still paying the Blues their salaries, they may actually be putting Wash down as Church in paperwork. As far as remembering the name Charon, the Charon Industries logo was in the first Freelancer mission in Season 9, I think you may have read their name out loud at the time.

Just got home from work. Super exhausted, but I cant NOT watch this

Zen Reacts

Ive always felt that Wash is more like a freelancer when hes with the reds and blues and hes more like the reds and blues when hes with the freelancers

So the enemies we're fighting are the same enemies from Season 9, the Insurrection, which is a UNSC Splinter Group. As for Charon, we saw them in the first mission in Season 9 and we know that they created the Sarcophagus, which PFL took in the highway mission. Also last Season for a split second we saw CT video chatting with the Insurrectionist Leader, who we also saw in these episodes.

Don’t think I didn’t notice the Spy X Family shirt you’re sporting - we’ve got you hooked on more than one thing now, I can tell! That being said, please remember to put out the usual soundtrack request ahead of time, since it’s the one thing I don’t have quite as much information on. Well, the first thing to point out here is… budget. Think about how this show looked when we started the first episode… and look at how far the production design has come since then. I know for a fact they got inspiration from several places, but there definitely seems to be a Star Wars / Matrix vibe with this particular series and the action pieces. Delta was infiltrating an enemy stronghold and just thought he’d chitchat with the guard, just because, you know… he is Delta. And the shade he throws at York about alarm tripping hurts even more because it’s all true - he’s never been able to pick a lock cleanly. Carolina is a completely hardened individual - if you thought Washington getting dumped into the RvB shenanigans was an oil and water mix, she’s even more of a stickler than he is. Remember, Washington became hardened because of his experiences, he was more like the kid of the group back in Project Freelancer, until everything that happened to him took place. Back in Season 9, North and Washington were talking about data being leaked from their base but before they could delve any further, they were interrupted by Tex’s combat training. At one point Washington interrupted C.T making a secret transmission - after this batch it’s pretty obvious she’s the one leaking the information to the opposition. They also mentioned artifacts… something “C.T.” was digging for in the desert back in Season 7. “You seem to know a lot of women with quick tempers.” - Tucker to Church. He doesn’t even know the half of it… and no, they’re not interested in you! Or your… home movies folder. The “Staff of Charon” ship you were asking about - the name appeared before when South was going “independent” on her mission in Season 9, and encountered the guard with the coffee cups. They said “Charon Industries.” Carolina uses the grappling hook she’s been carrying around since the Spiral Tower raid to pull Washington into the ship - because nobody wants to end up like Georgia. Yes, it’s a running joke. There was even merchandise, I believe. What really did happen to Georgia? 🙃 And Caboose is very interested in throwing a surprise party for the Director. The one thing you can count on is that anything Caboose dies is surprising. You should recognize the base they’re currently at, it’s where Doc holed up for most of Season 3 as O’Malley with the slow windmill and where they fought the Meta. But Carolina isn’t impressed, because Washington failed to bring him down there. Is it wrong that I kept thinking during that scene, “only a Sith deals in absolutes?” Oh wait, that’s the wrong series… 😅 We’re just getting started. 😏

Even though we weren’t away from RvB these past weeks I’ve missed this. This was a fire start to 10! Also love the new shirt looking good ♥️

kamenriderhime

I know!!! It was total fire!!!!!!! And thanks!!!!! I filmed my Spy x Family reaction on the same day haha!

kamenriderhime

Oh okay gotcha! Sorry, I remember that we were fighting someone I just don't think I was really thinking about it lol. Ohhhh that's who she was talking to, got it!!!! I do remember she was talking to someone.

2022-12-31 00:39:59 I will say the hype is very much justified. I believe because of this show a special game mode was created at some point in the Halo games named after Grif but I think it happened way after this season. I love how the season starts off with a casual conversation between Delta and one of project freelancer’s enemies. York & Delta’s interactions are great as usual. Interesting that Delta is talking about things not being black and white considering what we know happens with the project. The Director is as patient as ever (extreme sarcasm) LOL. Poor York Delta was probably secretly informed about this backup plan. I love the way the title comes in slowly being formed. The comedy on point as always. Wash replacing Church is one of my favorite bits of humor in the show especially because of the dialogue. Yeah unfortunately for you Carolina isn’t very forthcoming about things you want to know. Great to hear some Lamar in the first episode. The location of this scrap yard with all these space stations/ships and planets is so cool for where this mission is taking place. The music certainly increases the epic factor. The Georgia gag is great. If what I think is correct Georgia probably died in space which is the scariest way to go or realized how bad the project was and somehow managed to get the hell out of dodge. The action scenes just can’t stop being awesome and impressive. Also poor Washington can’t catch a break LOL. Even in the future cars hate him with Sarge’s first shotgun plan. The choreography of this fight being in zero gravity is incredible. No spoilers on the vocals but they are so good. Carolina is such a skilled badass being able to take out most of the soldiers with the gravity hammer looking like a one-man army. But I like that the other freelancers are important as well with them all having a role for this mission. The music playing when CT is doing her own thing is an instrumental version of the song from last season “can’t trust anybody now” which fits with what you learned about her this reaction. Interesting ability Connecticut displays here. Also we can see that she is very skilled which shows that the Director is treating his agents unfairly as well as how much stronger/more skilled the others higher up on the leaderboard are. Things were already complicated & now we know CT is a double agent working for the insurrectionists and passing on information because she believes what the project is doing is wrong. I love that this shows Connecticut’s courage since she is putting herself in danger for her mission. And people are now becoming suspicious of her which is bad for her. I love that you appreciate and enjoy the action so much when it is so masterfully done. Also yeah you should probably understand the show is not chill when it comes to cliffhangers. I do feel bad but your reactions to cliffhangers are always funny sorry LMAO. I almost forgot with the surprise party thing my reaction is always just Caboose… Oh honey LOL. Great to see the reds & blues shenanigans. Sometimes I just want to ask Tucker why he is like this there is nothing wrong with sexual stuff but there’s a line, Tucker found it and just sprints past it. Carolina is even more serious than Wash and we know how hard it was for him to deal with their shenanigans so you can imagine it’s worse/harder for her. The music while they are flying through space is calm but eerie. It’s so smart that the guys they are fighting hid their ship within all the scrap. The leader of these guys is awesome in his own right here. The nuclear device being in play makes things intense but I’m glad they still are able to inject humor into these moments as well. You can clearly see that there was even more hard work put into the animation even with a lot of work being put into other seasons it’s fantastic. I think Kayleigh mentioned their favorite character is showing up next time and I think I know what character it is but no spoilers :p. I will say you are not prepared for what this season has in store. Awesome reaction & I can’t wait for next week. Keep up the great work. :-) <3

Hahah yes!!! You guys know how to get me into a show, that's for sure!!! Oh yes, thanks for the reminder - I'll put out the request when I do the schedule this week! Oh I know, they've come so far!!! I can see the Star Wars/Matrix inspiration for sure. Hahaha that's true about York actually, and Delta chit chatting was so fun. Yeah, Carolina's probably even more jaded than Wash, like you said. Tough stuff! OHHHHH yes you're right about that conversation they were having about leaked info....as well as the digging in season 7! Good call. Some of this is fuzzy for me so I appreciate the clarification. HAHAHAHA Tucker and the home movies folder. But wow, what an understatement about knowing short-tempered women. Oh yes, thanks for reminding me of where I saw Charon. LOL I know a running joke when I see one, love it! Omg I know, my poor Caboose will be, well, quite surprised when he learns what's really going on lol. OHHHHH that's the base!!! Nice!! Hahaha I know, sometimes you get your series meshed together, right?? Can't wait for more!

kamenriderhime

Yes, I'm seeing that the hype is totally justified!! I love that Grifball got made official!! LOL yeah the Director is know for his calm and gentle nature hehe!!! I loved the comedy surrounding Wash replacing Church, it was epic! Loved hearing Lamar and Carolina seems to work on a need to know basis for sure. The Georgia joke has some true mileage potential lol! Poor Wash haha!!! Couldn't agree more about the choreography! The vocals are great, and that's very interesting about the instrumentals playing during CT's scene! CT's situation is really interesting to watch. The action just blows my mind! LOL!! I'm glad my reactions to the cliffhangers are entertaining!! Even after all this time, they still get me!!! Hahahaha Caboose, sweetie, you're in for a surprise about this whole party hahaha! Yeah Tucker just races right past that line lol. Carolina's got her hands full for sure. Eerie but calm is a great way to describe the music! Yeah I'd actually love to see more about the insurrectionists, they seem interesting in their own right! I can't wait to see the character!!!!!!!!!! XD They're killing it this season for sure! Thank you so much for all the kindness and support!!!!!!! ^_^
