Hey everyone!  I'm back today with episode 3 of Andor!!!  Wow, things really star escalating here!!!!  Shoot, this crew of officers is right on our tails.  Getting to see more about Cassian's origin - what he went through, how he came to be with his adopted mom, etc. - is definitely winning me over.  And wow, we are legit storming this whole town, taking lives, etc.!  But man was it satisfying to watch Cassian outsmart that lead soldier dude.  He was in way over his head!!!!  Seems like our new friend specializes in recruitment too.  In any event, we're off to the races now!!!!
No turning back!  Can't wait for what's next!  Great ep!  Enjoy!  ~ MH

Really like it so far. Much more like a thriller than a Star Wars series at the moment. Its going to be interesting watching Cassian work with this rebel cell and learn the things he'll need to succeed going forward; and see how this unfolds elsewhere as Mon Mothma and Bail become more involved in the series towards the establishment of the Rebel Alliance. I wonder if we'll see Cassian meet up with his sister again. He says in Rogue One "you're not the only one who lost everything", perhaps suggesting a sad fate for her. As a personal side note, you can tell a lot of this was filmed in the UK, with the amount of British actors with speaking roles. And we finally have Scotsmen and women in their native accents, which I am delighted with, since the others we see throughout Star Wars, have to adopt English accents! Good cast though, with Stellan Skarsgaard, Alex Ferns and Fiona Shaw backing up Diego, along with that guy leading the chase, who has a very expressive face, who I kind of like as a character! Very promising start to the series.

Side note while I’m thinking of it: Mandalorian S3 has been announced for December. Anyway, there’s a few things to break down in this episode but it’s really mostly action: It seems Luthen was interested in the Starpath unit Cassian was trading but he really wants Cassian himself. Gee, I wonder who he could possibly work for if he wants to stick it to the Empire. Also, someone FINALLY said what we’ve all been thinking about the Empire’s arrogance. Maybe that’s why anyone can get an Imperial Shuttle who needs one (see my Rebels Episode 2 comment if you haven’t already :D) I think the Corpos, as everyone is calling them, or the Blues, we’re okay until they ransacked Maarva’s apartment. That’s when the first fellow ran off to start ringing. Maarva took Cassian away under duress, so that’s why he’s having such a hard time looking for his sister. I wonder if we’ll get into what REALLY happened to their home planet. So remember how the squad leader was told to bury this? Well, when the Chief Inspector finds out you lost half a squadron disobeying orders…? 😬 Also was it just me or could I vaguely hear a Time Lord’s heartbeat in the alarm bells? “Dum dum dum dum… dum dum dum dum…” “You hear that? It’s the sound of a reckoning… when the noise stops, that’s when you really have to fret.” That could’ve just as easily been the Rebellion to the Empire, couldn’t it? The plot thickens. In this case, we know where Point B is, but now we have to draw a line through history to get there. Should be interesting to watch!

Yeah I could see that! It will be really interesting to see it all unfold for sure. Yeah, I'm guessing whether she shows up again or not, it will be explained that something tragic happened! :( Oh good call about the filming location, that's really cool! The casting is awesome for sure. I agree, he has quite an expressive face! Great start for sure!

OMG what a great holiday present!!! Thanks for the info! Haha yeah I wonder who he works for right! OMG could this be why shuttle-grabbing is so commonplace?! :O Yeah they shouldn't have messed with Maarva, that's definitely when folks started sounding the alarm. Right, she kind of took him for his own good but also against his will, so he wouldn't have been able to say bye to his sister first, sad. Ohhh yeah that guy is gonna have some big time explaining to do! Hahaha I could totally hear that rhythm in the bells! Oooohh good call that the line applies to the Rebellion/Empire too. Can't wait to see more!
