Hey everyone!  Here it is - my reaction to season 2 episode 21 of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime!  Wow guys, Adalmann was NOT what I was expecting haha.
I was sort of expecting someone as yucky as the last guy, and although this guy was misguided, that's just it - Shuna was able to guide him away and set him free!  Also, can we appreciate that Shuna too is on another level!  It's awesome that we have another ally for Rimuru now too, as well as an inside person while we're about to storm the castle.  Oh yeah, and did Rimuru just accidentally get his own religious following?  Whoopsie!!!  Can't wait for what's next!  Great ep!  Enjoy!  ~ MH

Oh yeah, and I was totally off about the VA, oh well haha.

(MH starts intro) “… and of course, Clayman is off still being SLIME-y and gross…” Me: …you realize what you just did, right? 😅 It was mentioned previously that only Yamza of the Five Fingers serves Clayman of his own volition. The others are coerced into it. He’s pulling their strings, in other words. You thought Shion was a handful, but I always kinda thought as pure as Shuna was acting, she definitely was hiding something. Although… if that’s her angry, she certainly has a strange way of expressing it. Also, she pretty much didn’t even break a sweat pulling down all those undead. Adalmann apparently used to be a member of the Western Holy Church but was betrayed and turned into his current form by Kazalim. All I remember there is a brief conversation at the school between conspirators, but not the details. I suppose we’ll need to table that for later. I mentioned earlier how Shuna “kept her cool” throughout the fight, but, boy, Rimuru is sure having a much harder time than normal. First there’s the conversation with Leon: although to be perfectly honest I can’t tell if Leon believes what he’s saying to Rimuru about Shizu and is really that ignorant, or is provoking him. But boy… it’s a good thing Rimuru didn’t see the kicking scene earlier. Don’t make him angry, you won’t like him when he’s angry. Oh, by the way… the air horn can feel your anger… your hatred… come back from the Dark Side Melissa, Clayman’s getting to you. 😂

Oh my Shuna 😳

Hahahahaha oops! Ohhhh maybe that explains why some of the others are decent compared to Yamza, good call. Seriously, it's always the quiet ones! That was like nothing for her. Gotcha, thanks for clarifying about Adalmann! Oh shoot, I know, I feel like there's an awful lot of things tensing up Rimuru right now!! You definitely wouldn't like him when he's angry! Hahahaha stinkin Clayman is trying to make me give into hate on top of everything else >:( Lol!!!

I decided it would be OK if I told you a little more about how Ramiris became a Demon Lord, and into the cycle of rebirth she is currently in. It's hinted at in the visuals of that fairy tale about Milim. There is one scene where Ramiris and Guy were shown together. When Milim became out of control, Guy and Ramiris worked together to stop her. At some point in this process, Ramiris changed into a new kind of being. I don't think she is a True Demon Lord, because I think she is a race who cannot carry the Demon Lord Seed. Daggrull has some kind of resistance to it as well, but he is very powerful nonetheless. I don't know about Deeno's Demon Lord origins. Incidentally, the order in which they entered the room, is the order in which they became a Demon Lord, except Milim, and Rimuru because he hitched a ride with Ramiris. The seating at the table also reflects that order..... In regards to Leon:. because he doesn't care what anyone thinks of him, he never bothers to explain himself, which gives the impression that he's cold and uncaring, especially because he never shows his feelings. With no evidence to the contrary, people make assumptions about his motives. He is also singlemindedly pursuing his goal of finding a particular person. I think he actually did care about Shizu. Some people who know him say he's actually awkward. Furthermore, in the Veldora's Journal 2 ep. Ifrit expresses regret for his part in Shizu's view of herself and this world, especially saying he didn't have much ego at the time, and actually it was he who killed her friend, though she blamed herself. Every one of the main participants see the story differently.

Shuna's abilities are in the realm of analyzing magic and making new spells. She is not as powerful as Adalmann, so she manipulated him into using a lot of power on a spell (which also happens to be a holy magic spell), and used its power to make her spell..... Raine and Mizeri are demons; Guy named them..... Adalmann is the Wight King, not the White King, as was mistakenly said in the subs.... When Rimuru entered the chamber (no other word for it), there was a period of sizing everyone up. Some were purposely using their auras to fool people, and others were suppressing theirs entirely. No one wanted anyone else to know their power level. In some ways Rimuru lost that battle because he let on that he could analyze others' levels, especially the most powerful ones' (those with Ultimate Skills), and which revealed he too had an Ultimate Skill. The only saving grace once he realized this error, was that he resolved not to reveal that he had more than one of them, and decided he was probably going to have to reveal Beelzebub anyway.

Well, it seems Adalman's voice actor is Tomokazu Sugita. He is the voice actor of Sakata Gintoki, Joseph Joestar from Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, Marlo Freudenberg from Attack on Titan, Etsuya Eizan from Shokugeki no Soma, Lizardman Priest from Goblin Slayer, Ryuki from Boruto, Escanor from The Seven Deadly Sins, Gyōmei Himejima from Demon Slayer, Basophil from Cells at Work, and Tomoyasu Chikazoku/Skeptic from My Hero Academia. Appearing that he also voiced some characters from Kamen Rider and Ultraman Series series such as Kivat-Bat the 3rd from Kamen Rider Kiva and Decade, Ultraman Ginga and Dark Lugiel from Ultraman Ginga, Demushu from Kamen Rider Gaim, Kamen Rider Ginga from Kamen Rider Zi-O, Kiramei Changer, Kiramei Sword from Saber + Zenkaiger: Superhero Senki, and few Sentai series such as Kirameiger. Not sure where you heard his voice from. And... seeing the Dragon Zombie here reminds me of one in the Shield Hero, also, before Primitive Dragon from Saber made its debut, some rumors said Saber gonna got an upgrade form which is the Zombie Dragon.

I mentioned before that some people adored Rimuru for various reasons; Adalmann and his minions are just joining them. It not like there's a formal organization or anything, and they don't proselytize... Also I forgot:. Veldora mentioned he didn't feel the need to go to the frozen, faraway lands of the North where Guy lives. You know who else lives there? His sister, Velzard. Yes, he is avoiding his sister.

More to that, the final move Adalman attempted to finish Shuna was Disintegration, the same move Hinata used to finish off Rimuru. Now Shuna is able to counter it, so is that imply Rimuru also able to?

kamenriderhime

Thansk for filling me in! That's fascinating. Also a cool fun fact about the order. That's kind of the vibe I was getting from Leon actually. He seems guarded but not necessarily uncaring. Wow, no kidding that Ifrit actually felt some remorse! It makes sense that everyone involved has a different perspective.

kamenriderhime

Interesting!! Hmm, good point about Rimuru maybe letting on a bit too much. We're still new to this whole demon lord thing! At least he caught himself.

kamenriderhime

Thanks for the info!!! Oh yes, I can totally see the Shield Hero vibes!!! Ohhhh did not put that together that it was the same one Hinata used! I bet Rimuru could counter it now.
