Hey everyone!  Here I am with episode 3 of Spy x Family, yayyyyy!!!  I loved the little family outing in this one, so sweet!!!  Watching them all learn to interact and be a family is fun, silly and heartwarming.  I was also really proud of how they handled the whole purse snatcher situation!!!  What a team they make!  Now Anya has some real life experience to draw upon in the interview, which is coming next...!!!  Great ep!  Enjoy!  ~ MH

Spy must not gains attention... but his ELEGANCE action already gained him attention... Also, if I recall correctly, this anime is produce by 2 studios working together. Now its about released 12 episodes, but this october, the 2nd part will continue!

Small cultural note, if you rewind you'll see Anja's name on her door is spelled the German way (Anja), though she does have the "J" written backwards. I tend to refer to her as Anja (German spelling) because of the setting being such an obvious stand-in for Communist East Berlin.

I think you're right that Yor is very genuine....and she has a very passionate sense of justice.....she jumped into action after the purse snatcher without a second thought. She was genuinely offended by this attack on the social order and the old lady as a fellow citizen. And with respect to loving her job making people's lives better.....I think that statement in her mind applies to her civil service job as well as her "off the books" real job. Loid is hyper analytical, cool and rational...but because he respects reason and logic he reads genuine parenting literature and follows the most scientifically supported research which leads him to good parenting choices, even if arrived at by cold calculation rather than depth of feeling. Meanwhile Yor is all heart and no guile....she wears her heart on her sleeve...and warms naturally to Anja because she's a kind and loving person to those dear to her.

Thanks! And yes she is very genuine! Oh yeah, I think both jobs are "helping" in a way from Yor's POV lol. That's a great point that because of his cool nature, Loid follows the parenting books to a t, which stemmed from his being cold and analytical about his mission, but the results are the same. Yor definitely seems to follow her heart more, great point!!! Anya is soooo lovable!!!!

First off, if I told you this was the same animation studio behind such titles as Attack on Titan (S1-S3) and Vinland Saga… would you believe me? XD Oh, speaking of AoT references - the photograph they took looks a lot like the photograph found in the basement journals. As for the episode itself, we’ve established a few things: Loid has no idea what he’s doing, because this isn’t a mission he can’t do alone, so he’s completely out of his depth. Yor is a person who has a good heart, but she’s also got a definite dark side to her personality. I mean, shouldn’t there be a few red flags when you start discussing caving in everyone’s skull? 😅 Anya is much smarter than she’s letting on, but she’s also good at “playing dumb” when she needs to. A lot of thoughts do bother her, but it particular bothered her when they were all negative thoughts at a political rally. Oh, also her attempts to “help” seem to be ending with Loid calling her out on her lack of it. SHOCK! Also, she’s the captain of this ship, literally - because her parents are literally being set up by her without realizing it. You might be able to fake a persona, but still, some of your real thoughts and feelings are going to bleed through it. The key is to know when and how to present them. You think things are ridiculous NOW? We haven’t even turned the dial up to half yet. :)

Hahahaha!!! Very different tones but I mean, good animation is good animation :D Ohhhhh yeah, it does look like that photograph!!!!!!!! Yup, this is unlike any other mission for Loid. Hahahahah weeeelll I would say there might be a red flag here or there for Yor, but I mean....she's got a heart of gold too :P Yes, Anya is pretty crafty in her own right when she needs to be! That's kind of what I was thinking, it was the negativity of the rally. Hahaha she's helping though! And that's so funny that in a way she's the leader. So true, you can fake all you want but your thoughts are your thoughts!!! OMG!!!! I cannot wait for more insanity!!!!!
