Hey everyone!  Here I am with Red vs. Blue, season 8, eps 8 - 9!  WHOA!!!!  What a reveal for that ending in this batch!!!  I was so happy my guess was right, and DANG if that wasn't one of the coolest reveals ever!!!  Guitar riff, animation, etc.!  Also am I the only one starting to feel like Wash, the Meta and Doc are becoming their own wacky little team with the same kinds of shenanigans that Red and Blue have???  I cannot wait for what's next!  Great eps!  Enjoy!  ~ MH

Just to be clear, original Tex is dead. She died with the EMP. The fact that this Tex may not know the guys is kind-of terrifying... She wouldn't have any memories of Blood Gulch. Much like how Epsilon didn't recall anything. Except what Caboose told him. Considering the type of person and fighter she is. We know Tex isn't afraid to fight to the death. Anyone in her way tends to be killed. And she feels no remorse for it. Also I love hearing Epsilon trying to reason with her behind the door. He sounds so much like a concerned boyfriend. "Don't move don't. No stop!" The part where he is like, "I wouldn't throw that! It looks expensive." Cracks me up so much. So all we can see is that Tex isn't happy. And she's ready to fight her way out of here if necessary. And her sights are set on our boys in red. God help them.

Did you catch that CT has changed genders between season 7 and 8? Washington says, "Don't bother, she never got an AI."

This is a great point actually! I did notice the use of "she", but for many reasons did not question it...I couldn't remember if pronouns had ever been used for CT although the voice sounded male. So I wasn't sure if they were trying to say that CT was using a voice modulator, just had a deep voice, had changed genders, or they were talking about a completely different CT altogether. I think I meant to bring it up afterwards but forgot after the reveal lol. Maybe they're implying that the CT we met wasn't the CT that Wash knew?? Hmm!

Right! That Tex is gone, this is another Tex...whatever that means! I don't think I was clear on what memories she had, but thanks for clarifying! Yeah, Tex is not someone to mess with at all! Yeah, makes total sense that he would be like a concerned boyfriend to her, even if his knowledge of why he's doing that is still fuzzy. LOL "it looks expensive"!!!! Yeah, our Red crew might be in trouble!!!

In response to what you replied with Pinkandahalf, this is something you can have fun with theorizing. The show isn't done telling us lore. So enjoy the ride for this story arc. I see 6-10 as the Freelancer Arc. Some say Freelancer arc is seasons 8-10 but I count all the way to 6 because it all connects. This is where we get the most lore about the project itself these seasons. So alot of time and episode goodness for questions to be answered. :)

Hehehe… now I know some people might take issue with this being a two episode batch. Trust me, I’m not the biggest fan of it either… but the arcs have to be cut in the proper places. It will happen periodically but I really try not to make a habit of it too much. Given where the batch ended I think you can deduce why I cut there. So let’s point out a couple things here: in the beginning, FILSS is directing Church and Caboose the exact same way she taught Caboose to drive the tank in Season 1 - all the way down to the running joke, “would you like me to run the tutorial program?” Clearly the Reds aren’t geography majors. Also, Pluto’s a planet. At least it was when I was in school. Then it wasn’t. Now it is again. Or isn’t? Now I’m completely confused. 😂 Wash and the Mets stumble across C.T.’s helmet, and recognize the gear. But they did say something you glossed over. Washington said “what’s SHE doing here?” The character we met last season had a male voice. Caboose is losing his mind because he just found the Best Friend Store.this is pretty much you in the RT Store looking at all the different RvB and RWBY figures and wanting to scoop them all up. ;) Doc, after getting freed asks if anyone knows a good medic. I mean, we know A medic but a good one…? 😬 Doc’s plea to Wash telling him he can’t just go around killing people and his response of “Why not?” is a direct nod to Terminator 2 and the conversation of the same type. Caboose is actually the smart one, because notice how he walked away when the door started to break. The Reds, especially Sarge, are so dense however, that they might’ve just gotten in over their head… I’m not going to SAY anything content relevant but the next episode (Chapter 10) is known in RvB as “THE episode.” Pretty much every one knows what you’re talking about when you say it. In fact, you notice there are episode titles for each one that are kind of cute and funny… yeah, even RT didn’t know what to name it so look at the title before/during your watch next week, because that’s a joke in itself. 😄 You have no idea what’s coming and we’re here for it. 😎

Considering that I’ve been a Rooster Teeth fan for quite a while AND also that RWBY is one of my favorite shows period, you could say I learned how to cut from the best in the cliffhanger business. 😎

LOL RT has taught you well Tyler, you know how to cut it at a good cliffhanger, I'll give you that!! And I agree with Supermonaman that you do a great job with the batches and perhaps outdid yourself here with the cliffhanger!!! Ohh yes the tutorial program, I knew I'd hear that before! Hahha I don't know what Pluto is at the moment but I know it's not a state :P Oh yes, I did notice the use of "she" but as I replied in another comment, I didn't know what to make of it since it's possible CT just had a deep voice or was using a voice scrambler/modulator of some kind. Now I'm thinking maybe the CT we met wasn't CT at all. HAHAHAHA Caboose is totally me in the RT store!!! XD Lol I mean, he did ask for a *good* medic...!! Oh I did not catch the Terminator 2 nod but good call. Oh yeah, Caboose is more intuitive than it might seem. OMG, I can't wait for THE episode but I'm also scared!!!!! :O

Well it was a precipice… The precipice of greatness LOL. Washington is just too good. Great alternative title for the show LOL. It makes complete sense considering what we learned about Freelancer and the Director’s messages that they would have contingency sites if they got caught. I love how the lead up to the Director’s personal project is so ominous/mysterious. The terrible knowledge of states bit is hilarious. Agent Pluto seriously LOL. Some interesting stuff regarding CT as well. Wonder what it could mean :-)? A best friend store sounds amazing. I love how you get mad at the endings of certain episodes from shows you watch. Totally understand but LMAO. Also Washington you don’t get paid at all LOL. Shotgun to the face might not be the thing. Honestly it is very hard to respond to why not kill people to solve your problems. It is absolutely perfect to hear Church try to reason with Tex when she so clearly wants none of it. Caboose may not be the best liar but certainly has a great survival instinct. The return of Tex is one of the most hype things in the show especially the guitar riff. Your fangirling & watching the scene again is so you and a very appropriate/valid reaction. It is the same voice actress. Also Washington has no chill MH this show has no chill LOL. This show just keeps you guessing am I right? It’s a great thing about this series. Seems like we are all in over our heads now. Finally all I will say is prepare your self for whatever’s coming :-). I can’t wait for the next reaction I am extremely excited. Awesome reaction & keep up the great work. :-) <3

LOL yes I guess I was onto something there! Hahah glad you like my alt title!!! :P Yeah it does make sense about having a backup plan. And the lead-up is super intense!!! Hahahaha the states thing shouldn't surprise me but it's just another hilarious facepalm moment! Yeah the CT stuff has been brought to my attention more, and it makes me curious! LOL Best Friend store!!!! I love it!!! Hahahaha I should know better by now that these cliffhangers are coming yet they still always get me! Yeah true, Wash is not exactly on the payroll anymore haha. Yeah shotgun to the face is not to be used in all situations I suppose hehe. I mean, it's especially hard to explain that to a freelancer, because we've seen how ruthless they have to be! Hearing Church and Tex was great even if it was super brief. LOL Caboose definitely excels at surviving! Ahhhhh it was SUCH a great moment and I'm glad the fangirling was amusing hehe! Yeah true, the show really has no chill in general!! It always always keeps me guessing!! We are truly in over our heads!!! I'm so not ready for whatever is coming!!!
