Hey everyone!  Here it is - my reaction to season 2 episode 3 of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime!  Wow, lots happening in this one!  Rimuru makes things official with the Dwarves, followed by a celebration....ermm....not sure if sneaking this past Shion and Shuna proved to be such a good idea in the end though!  :P  Gotta hand it to Rimuru for using even a celebration as an opportunity to push some merch though lol.  And Youm's group gets a new member....who honestly, I'm liking so far, but we know has alterior motives...!!!!

I think there is a 3rd season that's going to be made but that just might be me thinking that I read that somewhere. There is a movie coming soon I believe. I know I saw a trailer for that a few months ago

Crunchyroll put out a trailer 3 weeks ago announcing the movie would be out in early 2023 "exclusively in theaters". I don't know if that's for just US. I don't think there's an official Season 3 announcement yet.

Hello, I am here again for your reactions! There are a few things I got a little wrong about the opening last week, but I think not enough to throw you off. I actually don't have a lot to say (!) for this episode. I wondered too about why Rimuru appeared as a slime for his official speech. My theory is he wanted to represent a monster nation as a monster, and be sincere by showing his true self. Also, I always wonder how old the goblin riders are, after all they do responsible adult jobs while looking like they do. Oh, I don't think Milim is the oldest Demon Lord, but she is one of the oldest.

So, first off, it seems that the only one who’s not amazed at everything Rimuru has put together is Rimuru himself - because if you asked him he’d just say it’s a fantastical string of coincidences that put him where he is. Also, side note: if Milim is the oldest Demon Lord, what does that say about the concept of age for them, since we all know her personality. Okay, so, Shion can’t hold her liquor. That’s probably gonna raise its ugly head in one way or another. Also, it does seem Rimuru learned Poison Resistance finally. Giving a speech isn’t easy no matter who you are, so inevitably your personality is gonna bleed into it whether you want it to or not. But Gazel does seem to respect Rimuru enough to shoot straight with him. You know, the same thing always happens when a group of guys wants to sneak away just for one night. There’s always that one doofus who unwittingly lets something slip. Although you might be right about him also using it as a chance to market test. I’ll pull up a line from another show you’re currently watching. That doesn’t look like scheming to me. Scheming looks different. He’s definitely plotting. What’s that line again, hell hath no fury like… I mean, you knew Shion wouldn’t be happy, but usually calm Shina seems SUPER mad… I think she actually might be the one Rimuru should really be frightened of. Also, being sentenced to Shion’s cooking…? Can we just go back to fighting Demon Lords and supernatural monsters, I think that might be a better prospect for our poor slime. Hope he leveled up that Poison Resistance skill… 😬 Mjurran seems like a capable magic user, but she does make the comment that she can’t believe Youm’s group didn’t have any resistance to status abnormalities. You wonder if she’s going to see through Rimuru’s ruse before too long.

Yay!!! Thanks for tuning in! That's a good point about Rimuru being most sincere and also representing as a monster! Yeah I'm not sure about the goblin riders!!! Hmm, that definitely makes Milim pretty old but interesting that she's not the oldest!

Yeah Rimuru is pretty humble!!! Also that's a great point about Milim, seems maybe we have a Baby Grogu situation here! Hahahaha yeah you know that's not the last time we see drunk Shion! Also cool that he finally learned poison resistance. Yeah speeches are tough, and very true that Rimuru's and Gazel's relationship is close enough that they can be brutally honest which is awesome. There's always that one friend in the group that can't keep it to themselves!!! But yeah, maybe this was more or less a business outing for market research anyway. Hahahha good reference!!! Oh man, seriously, Shion's cooking is just too drastic a sentence! And I couldn't agree more that Shuna is perhaps even scarier when she's mad lol. Hmm, good point about Mjurran! I guess we'll have to wait and see!!
