Hey everyone!  Here I am with Red vs. Blue, season 7, eps 15 - 19!  WHOA you guys......so much going on here, including an ending that just blew my mind!!!
Getting to see Church acclimate to his new, erm, vessel was quite interesting!
And man, did that laser eye pay off!!!  The fight scenes were great and I love how good the car chase scenes looked.  I also can't get enough of the Lopez comedy haha.  But guys....I was NOT PREPARED for my Wash to turn on us in such an epic way!!!!  I'd say how could he, but if you stop and think about it, it does make a degree of sense.  Sighs.  It still hurts my heart though!!!  What a great season, cannot wait for more!!  Great eps!  Enjoy!  ~ MH

2022-08-26 23:53:43 I love the end of this season. Such great episodes. I can’t say anything about your predictions but I do like to hear them. I love how much intensity Meta brings to the show it makes things tense in a great way. Also I like that they show that the Meta is having trouble with his equipment although it seems to just be pissing him off more than anything. Thinking it’s some monster and then it’s just Donut is funny. Also Donut’s reasoning & Simmons indignation is fantastic LOL. It looks like Lopez has gotten bored enough or angry enough to start wanting to just kill people. All of the shenanigans with balls Church are hilarious. I love how it makes sense why he would be confused but I like how he is still distinctly Church in attitude. I think it’s amazing how accurate Caboose’s descriptions are until they aren’t. His more ridiculous descriptions are really fun. It’s absolutely hilarious how Grif is just getting brutally burned the entire time. Things just devolving into useless arguing just seems on brand for them. Also I’m pretty sure Tucker snuck in a jab at Grif involving his sister LOL. I feel like Church’s attitude here is a combination of his memories making him want to nuke things right & Caboose’s making him think he was a great leader. It is a great speech despite the reveal of him just floating away. I kind of love how quickly Simmons accepts death. After going through everything he has gone through I wouldn’t discount anything from what I would expect from my death. Lopez never fails to make me laugh his dialogue is gold. I think it’s interesting to see all the abilities Church has in this new form. It is a valid thing to worry about him getting all his memories back it adds something else to worry about. The short-term memory gag is a classic and the interactions make it even better. Also Melissa an interesting journey is a big understatement. The plan they come up with to escape the Meta was not well thought out at all. I love the assumptions Sarge makes about this being some elaborate plan to get a small advantage it’s so him. “Peter, Paul and Ringo” being something Sarge says when surprised is something I try to remember it’s so good. I feel like I said this before but you would think Sarge wanting Grif dead would get old but it doesn’t. I think Caboose hitting Church was him down and performing as Black Widow would call it cognitive recalibration LOL and it worked. I agree poor, poor Lopez but hey at least he has backups. Also I think it’s less about patience and more about his apathy & boredom although I guess that is… Kind of related to patience. 57 hours of self… Insult tapes is a lot of dedication I would expect nothing else from Sarge. It’s interesting to see the aliens worship technology I think it’s something in other sci-fi as well. Church wanting to be a vengeful, angry God just tracks with his character. The battle & chase that followed is really well done. It is impressive considering this is a video game that won’t always cooperate. Tucker doing this cool stunt & absolutely failing doesn’t surprise me but at least it caused a distraction. The finale is so great. I don’t have much to say about the rest of the fight against CT but it’s nice to see Tucker showing off his skills again. Also laser face is Church’s most awesome moment after alpha Church’s miraculous one in a million gunshot. And after seeing that looks like Sarge is proven right about the wildcard comment. I love how Simmons is representing the audience when he’s excited to see Washington thinking he’s come to save the day. However I absolutely love the swerve that happens. And that’s because of how much it makes sense. It is & isn’t unexpected to see Wash do this after everything he’s gone through but it’s not something anyone was happy about. Although it is great writing. I think it’s a great shocking cliffhanger for him to shoot both Lopez & Donut. The echoing of what Simmons is saying is a nice touch it’s like Washington isn’t fully there. And what an amazing line to end on. The music at the end is awesome and I feel like there is a longer version of the music somewhere. Seeing your reactions and changing facial expressions during the Washington reveal was both hilarious & very entertaining. Mostly because I knew you were not going to be happy with him or the show. I do feel bad with how sad it made you. I relate to you with opening my heart only to have it stomped on with many shows I have watched. RT just knows how to hurt people. I love how the finales of this show continue to create long discussions from you. Finally I’m glad you are still excited about where the show is going. It's such a great end!! The shenanigans with things like Donut and ball Church are amazing! OMG Caboose is really accurate until um, he isn't hahaha. Good call on Church's attitude. And also Lopez being amazing haha. Yes it's fun to see what Church can and the memories are worrisome for sure!!! Also yes I guess that's putting it lightly haha about an interesting journey. Peter Paul and Ringo is so amazing and I def need to add it to my vocabulary as well! LOL I'd be disappointed if Sarge had done anything less than the 57 hour tape! And yeah this really fits Church's personality I guess. It did look great and that's even more impressive considering the game doesn't always cooperate! Haha right, at least Tucker distracted, with the epic fail. Yeah the laser face really cements the wild card statement right! Ahhhhh the swerve is so awful and painful but dang it, it is good writing and it's so well done, especially the reveal! LOL glad it was entertaining, that ending had me going for sure!!! Awww thank you for being so kind about my sadness due to it lol. I was disappointed for sure, especially since I had such a big crush on him lol, but man, what a big and awesome move, plot-wise. Yay, thank you so much, so happy you enjoyed it and thanks for all your kindness and support!!! ^_^

I’m so excited for next season, season 8 is when Monty joined RoosterTeeth and he’d animate RvB a few seasons before making RWBY. The addition of his animation with the in-game stuff like the head bobbing adds so much to the show.
