RWBY Ice Queendom: Sub or Dub? (Patreon)

Hey everyone!


Sorry to spring this on you, but it was brought to my attention recently that we are getting the first three eps of RWBY: Ice Queendom on June 24th!!!  I'm re-working my schedule to try and fit those 3 eps in on release day, but first, I need to know....


SUB or DUB?!


I'm really going back and forth on this, because on the one hand, I almost always do my anime subbed, and it would be a great chance to hear a new voice cast voicing these characters!  However, you know how I just love my original RWBY VAs!!!  Do me a favor and decide for me please?  Lol.


But seriously, I wanna do what YOU are gonna want to see me do!!!!!!  So let me know!

2023-01-15 20:31:15 I am personally going to watch each episode in sub 1st and then dub because I am really interested in hearing the Japanese voices never having watched the volumes that have been done with Japanese voices before. I’m not sure it’s the same voices but I’m really interested in what the Japanese acting will be like. Honestly if you want us to decide for you that’s fine but if you become more interested in one you should do what you. Whichever one you do decide to watch I’m sure your reactions will be awesome. Have a great day and keep up the great work. :-) <3

Thanks for being so patient and open-minded about which one I go with!! I'm still not decided lol. I have a few more days to make up my mind! The poll isn't super close but it's fairly close at the moment :/

I also own the Warner Brothers Japan Limited Edition Blu-Ray releases of RWBY1 -&gt; RWBY7 so I've heard these Japanese seiyuu before but since those versions aren't streaming anywhere legally that I know of, this is a unique opportunity for you to experience them with us and watching "sub" anime is kind of your "brand" (even though for me personally if a dub exists I'm watching it in dub and I will this time too for myself)....so I think you should react to it in Sub, but definitely enjoy the Dub on your own time as a re-watch, and I will do the same....i.e. watch Dub on my own but watch your reaction in Sub. It's a win-win.

I see what you mean!!! I think no matter which one I end up reacting to, I'll watch the other on my own time just so that I can experience it. :D
