Hey everyone!  Here it is - my reaction to season 1, episode 4 of REBELS!!!!  WHOA, who knew we were getting a fruit related adventure in this one?!  And is that the same fruit from the droids ep of Clone Wars?!?!?!  I actually found out after the fact that the fruit was featured at the end of Boba Fett....which is a fun nod haha.  But wow guys, so crazy, epic, fun, and at the end of the day, we're building these characters a lot, too!!!  Great ep!  Enjoy!!!  ~ MH

The Meloorun is not the fruit from Clone Wars, that was a Jogun fruit. And the Imperial Officer Lyst should sound familiar, he’s Vax from Vox Machina! That’s a neat thing about Rebels and Bad Batch, every now and then some of the guys from Critical Role will pop up.

Gotcha!!! I do love that there's other nods to Melooron in other Star Wars series though, like Boba Fett!!! OMG, that's why he sounded so familiar! I love that Critical Role actors pop up, that's awesome :D

I forgot the Meloorun was in Boba Fett, I think I laughed a bit when it showed up now that I remember. And as far as I’ve noticed it’s usually just Vax, Scanlan, and Percy that show up now and then to voice some random characters. I’m guessing the others were busy with other stuff, cause I think they all love Star Wars.

Yeah someone had to point it out to me, and I just rewatched it recently in prep for Mando s31!! Oh wow, you'll have to point them out, I'm finished up with Rebels now but can't remember if all of them were pointed out to me while I was watching. Of course, how can anyone not love Star Wars!!! So cool that they made time for this!

I mean, you aren’t wrong about the whole Star Wars sitcom thing - especially when Hera goes into mom mode and sends them to go shopping. Speaking of funny stuff, maybe we should start keeping a running tally of how many times a major character is going to make a Stormtrooper look silly, cause, well… it’s happening a lot. Don’t know anything about the Clone Wars reference, but I can put two and two together. But there IS a mischievous droid running around causing trouble. Overall, this was a JUICY episode. The kids got caught RED-handed and when the mom asked what they were up to, they simply replied that they were TIED up. But in the end, their endeavors bore FRUIT. My only disappointment is they couldn’t keep the TIE fighter and use it to be stealthy later. Speaking of that, the Empire sure doesn’t believe in radio encryption or copy protection, does it…? Oh! Also, I forgot to mention that Ezra sneaking around the dust chutes in Episode 3 gave me serious Luke in Empire vibes. Until the next Imperial heist is RIPE for the plucking, then. 😎 (Out with a Yang!)

Omg it really is like a sitcom! Yeah, the Stormtroopers are racking up quite the rep here. Well, that's a good point about the mischievous droid! HAHAHAHAHAHA whoa dude, Yang joke OVERLOAD!!!!!! You're on fire!!! (Also kind of a Yang reference/joke??!?!) I know, I would have loved for them to have a Tie fighter! Yeah no, there are definitely some holes in security when it comes to the Empire lol. Good call on the parallel to Luke in Empire. HAHAHAHAHAH totally out with a Yang!!! There are so many good jokes to make based on the subject matter of this ep....guess you could say there was some "low hanging fruit"?!?!?! XD XD XD

Hehe Chopper beginning to show us why he's become one of the most beloved droids in the franchise, what a little scamp he is! Also could you imagine seeing someone like Zeb in real life? A 7 foot, 30 stone muscly tiger man jumping at you! Terrifying.
