Hey everyone!  Here it is - my reaction to season 1 episode 6 of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime!  WHOA!!!!!  This one you guys....this was the one that hooked me officially!!!  Dang, it's all coming together now!  The adventurers from a few episodes ago, the little girl in episode 1....!!!!  I've known Shizu for all of 5 minutes and I already love her!!!
Also, something tells me there's even more heartbreak to come....didn't like that wincing in pain she was doing!  Can't wait to see more!  Great ep!  Enjoy!  ~ MH

Wow, it’s almost 7 PM and the video’s still processing… don’t usually need to download this late, but might wanna check it! Anyway… Hmm, you’ve heard the name Eren before have you? Can’t imagine where or when… why do I get the feeling this Eren might be slightly different in personality (and gender) though? :P I meant to say something about this last week but I forgot - but it appears that as OP as Rimuru is he does have a limit - his magicule reserves DO run out as evidenced by what happens after he names so many goblins. The guild master the trio was talking to was chatting with Vesta earlier in the show so now I wonder if he’s a problem or a solution, and what will happen once these three report back to him? You know, ever since the opening first played I kept thinking, gee, they’re sure focusing on this “hero” character a lot, I wonder if she’s going to be a romantic interest? But can you at least give it more than ten seconds before you go into full ship mode? 😂 I think Shizu might have been just referring to a game, because from what I am deciphering, Rimuru is here from what we’d call present day and it seems like she’s from World War II times (Japan didn’t start thriving like he showed until after it was decimated, and she clearly hadn’t seen it like we’d picture it now). So she’s been here a very long time, maybe half a century or more. But she came in as a child and she looks like a teen/young adult so maybe things happen at different speeds here? Either way I think her reaction at the end wasn’t anything ominous but has to do with the summon curse. Which makes you wonder who the individual is that summoned her? I guess that needs to be dealt with too. The name of the fire deity was Ifrit, and I can’t help but notice that’s a Final Fantasy fire being character so I wonder if all these gaming references are being done on purpose. Lastly, I don’t think we should read too much into the fact that she’s not in the ending credits - she’s in the opening a lot more, maybe it’s just equal air time. But she can’t work against the person who summoned her, so…? Odds are this is an issue? /Sarcastic Laughter PS: Not related to this show but I’m going to say it again because I need to. Poll or no poll, you HAVE to start Spy x Family. Like yesterday. 🙃

I'm glad gobta is again with us but that is just so awful leaving him just hanging in there 😆 How awful was that ending, Shizu engulfed and just appeared burned right after her mother's demise. That hurt to watch 😿

2023-01-15 20:32:25 Sorry about that, sadly there's not much I can do to help something to process, except upload another copy and hope it goes more smoothly! But I did just check on it this morning and it looks like it's processed! Is it working on your end? HAHAHA I have a feeling this Eren will be at least slightly different from what I'm used to :P Yes, good point about Rimuru's magic - there is a limit! Oof, good point about the trio reporting back about what they've encountered....! HAHAHA ship mode waits for no plot!!!! Once it's activated, it has a mind and will of its own :P Yes, good call that Shizu's been there a really long time if she got isekai'ed back in the 40s. Yes, time must move differently here! Didn't really think of that in the ep because I wasn't sure if this was even supposed to take place in the same time as our world.....but I think I'm getting a better grasp for it now! Oh yeah, good call, who did summon her??? And why?? Oh nice!! I'm sure the game references were intentional! LOL your sarcastic laughter indicates that yes it is quite the issue!!!! I have a feeling whoever summoned her may not be total lawful/moral good.....so having to follow their will might be a problem....?? Ifrit did not originate with FF. It is, according to Wikipedia, a powerful demon in Islamic mythology. In this Slime world it is an upper level fire spirit. Also, the guild master wasn't chatting with Vesta, it was someone else.
