Hey everyone!  Welcome back, I am back today, with episode 3 of Legend of Vox Machina!!!  Woooow, so we're gonna get some background on Percy!  I feel like he's the one we've seen/gotten to know the least so far.  His backstory is utterly tragic!  I cannot imagine the searing pain and rage of having to be in the same room as your family's murderers.  Oh yeah, and did I mention that they're VAMPIRES apparently?!  That's the only explanation I can think of!!!  And just what the heck is with Percy's ability?!  And now, thanks to everyone coming into this fight about 3 minutes too late, our crew is being apprehended, sheesh.  I'm dying to see what's next!  Great ep!  Enjoy!  ~ MH

Liam O'Brien (Vax's player/voice actor) would frequently roll stupidly absurd stealth scores. It basically became a running joke that he erased himself from time and space whenever he decided to go stealth. I think the high was a 47 when he rolled a Nat 20 with his own bonuses and a party spell on top of it.

One of the perks of being a Druid like Keyleth is that not only can she summon animals and befriend them, she has a talent/skill unique to her character class called "Wild-Shape" and can physically transform into animals with greater offensive capabilities than her normal Half-Elf form....and that have their own separate hit points, etc...such that if they run out of hit points in Wild Shape they don't die, they merely revert back to their original hominid form. Druids use this ability quite often in close quarters combat because it's very effective (usually). Keyleth chose to swoop in as a bird of prey, not only to attack but also to get a literal bird's eye view of the situation and better understand what was going on.
