Hey everyone!  Here's my reaction and review of Clone Wars 7x02!  OMG, so much going on in this ep!  Rex struggling with keeping his feelings and the mission separate, and who could blame him?  Certainly not Anakin - and honestly, it is so sweet to see their friendship!  Oh yeah, let's not forget about THAT SCENE with Anakin's "thing" that he needs to do, omg.....!!!!!  Obi-Wan straight up knowing exactly what's going on though...!!!!  And I gotta say, Echo being alive and mostly ok at the end was a way better outcome than I was expecting!  YAY ECHO!!  Let's just hope they don't decide to swerve and crush us though!  Great ep!  Enjoy!  ~ MH

Echo! 🥲 Another great episode. In Legends, The Republic went on the Outer Rim Sieges in the last 6 months of the Clone Wars. It's why Anakin didn't know Padme was pregnant until Revenge of The Sith, because he was pretty much away that entire time. Nice to see it referenced here. Also it kinda looks like Padme has a little baby bump lol Obi-Wan knowing is great, given his line in Revenge of The Sith "Anakin's the father isn't he? I'm so sorry." I love how emotional Rex is in this Arc. And how reflective he seems to be about everyone he's lost in this War and him hoping beyond hope that Echo might be alive. And that it actually payed off. Really looking forward to the rest of this Arc.

YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :'D Yes, it was great. Ohhhh that's why he wasn't around, okay! Thanks for clarifying! I thought I noticed a bump but as someone with an everyday, erm, curvy shape I didn't wanna call it out in case it was just weight gain. :P LOL!! Yes, I think of that line a lot...it's like on some level he knew, but wasn't aware of the extent perhaps. He seems pretty aware here :P Yes!! We've been through so much with Rex and you can see it weighing on him here. So happy that Echo turned out to be alive!!! Can't wait to see the rest!!! :D

You are very emotional about the clones at the end of this episode. I don't blame you, when you look at how they are utterly used by the Republic as cannon fodder then forced to bring about the imperial regime and betray their Jedi Generals; they are tragic characters. Thats the best thing to come out of this show, even moreso than Ahsoka; the story of the clones themselves.

Yes!! And glad you get it! They are so tragic....yet in this series, it's not some distant cautionary tale. We are right there in the trenches with them every step of the way. It feels so much more personal, yet here we are, inevitably, watching their demise. The clones are for sure a huge main focal point of the show!
