Hey everyone!  Here's my reaction to episode 74!   WHOAAAAAAAA!!!  Gotta say guys, I've felt a LOT of pride throughout this series, but this episode was something special in terms of making me proud of Gon!!!  It's like he has no fear, or feels no pain....yet we know neither of those is true, which makes it even more impressive!!!!  :O  I couldn't believe how intricate the plan was, too.  All I have to say is thank God we had cards that healed our crew, phew!!!
And not to mention that our crew was so upstanding and considerate in not wanting Genthru and co to suffer either.  And now, we have the CARDS!!!!  Except, that makes us quite the target, doesn't it?  Guess we'll see what happens at the big event next ep...!!!  Great ep!  Enjoy!!  ~ MH

Hi Hime :) I had announced almost all for Battera, without spoiler. He needed a game card to heal his love, but the games have been going on for too long and unfortunately she passed away so he no longer needs the card ... What is even sadder is that seeing that he is spending all his fortune, it shows how desperate he was. Knowing now that Greed Island is in the real world, you can easily imagine that there were other ways than finishing the game to save the one he loves. Killua using his Yo-Yos to shock his opponent, is a throwback to his Celestial Tower opponent using electric whips. Our experience shapes us. Bisky true form is really something, not only is she a mountain of muscle, but you saw the size she is, when she lifts her unconscious opponent she is almost two heads taller. Well afterwards, we must not forget that this part had to be released in manga in the early 2000s, there were not yet as many muscular woman lovers as there are now. If Bisky knew the number of muscular woman lovers that there are now and that there is more than one representation, she would be more proud of her body (myself for one of my stories, I have a woman muscular who seeks to hide her body, but will become proud of it). Another interesting element, his opponent is called Bara, which means Rose but is also known to be a form of erotic drawing specializing in muscular men, so we can say that there was an idea long before this fight. And finally Gon ... I love this character. I always prefer his face to face with Razor, but his fight against Genthru and his willingness to go to the end, sacrificing his hands but continuing his technique, that's something. I compared him before you started the show, to RWBY's Ruby. Often driven by their emotions, quite not sticking to the plan, but also finding new ideas during a fight and being afraid, but that does not prevent them from moving forward, even if it means taking blows. I think the two of them would get along really well and now that I think about it, Gon facing Gentrhru, seeming not to have the upper hand but offering his opponent to surrender, it reminds me quite a bit of Ruby vs Cordovin pointing her cannon at her. On another note, I'm having fun imagining my persona in different universes, like One Piece, Naruto, and Hunter X Hunter, imagining what kind of power I wish I had. Have you ever wondered what kind of Nen you would have ?

I know Gon would be best to protect anyone. Me personally I just wouldn't want him to. I feel like it'd be stress inducing having Gon on ur side. I can image being held at gun point with Gon, and him assuring me, saying he'll protect me no matter what. Then after telling the gunman to shoot us with everything he's got to test out his great ideas. And me just yelling "don't be so selfish!" and trying to duck for cover from both of them. 🔥☄✂️📃 💪 😵 💫 🥴

Hahaha yes I totally see what you mean!!!! Like he'd stake his life on his ability to protect someone he'd vowed to, yet at the same time using the opportunity to really flex whatever new power he'd been itching to try :P It's kind of a double edged sword haha!!! You might be better off just trying to get the heck out of dodge while they're duking it out :P

Hi Spadeas! :) Yes, all the info was there without any details!!! So sad, for sure, about Battera!!!! And good point that since the game is in the real world, there were other ways to save her without actually having to beat the game. Yet all that time and all those resources went into the game....! Ahhhh yes I do remember the electric whips, good call!!! Very true that there weren't as many muscular women popularized in the mainstream, sadly, at the time this was released! I agree that Bisky would have more reason to not dislike her body now that mindsets have changed. And so cool that you feature a muscular woman who learns to love her body in your story!!!! Ahhhh that's interesting about the name Bara as well!!! Gon was spectacular here for sure!!!!!!! Oh I can definitely see the comparison to Ruby! I can definitely see the parallel between this fight to Ruby vs. Cordovin as well!!!! Good thoughts! Oh that's so fun to imagine yourself in different anime worlds!!! Omg, I actually haven't thought about my Nen, but I will now!!! Gotta say, it's hard to beat the abilities that Bisky has!!! :P How about you???

I have always loved wind, air and everything related to it, like sound or vibrations. Regarding my Nen, I would be of emission type with a bit of transmutation, allowing me to create nen bubbles similar to air bubbles, but having different properties when they bursts, be it soporific gas or poison, whether they explode with a loud bang or just a flash of light. Ah and other things that bring Ruby and Gon together, they both have a white haired tsundere and heir to a wealthy family as BFF lmao.

Bisky is my absolute queen, girl I know you don't like how you look but trust me you're still beautiful q.q One thing I really love in hunter x hunter is that, while the never give up, always keep fighting attitude is pretty normal for shonen protags, Gon really takes it to an almost horrifying extreme, both for us as the viewer and the people in universe. There's plenty of examples across the series, but this ep is a great one, the way he just straight up allows his hand to get exploded so that he can get a hit in, on top of all the other injuries he's received up to that point, and then just keeps on fighting away afterwards, you can really understand why Mr. Bomber started feeling that fear, or why Razor called him a monster earlier. But then on the other hand, he's just a sweet baby boy, so I guess it balances out.

Yesssssss couldn’t have said it better myself!!! And yes, Gon really does take the never give up thing to a whole new level. So true, I too was like “he’s not human” at the point so I can totally see why his actions make such an impression on his opponents. Lol yes at the same time he’s just our bouncy baby Gon so it’s like, he can be both I guess haha!

Ohhhh that's interesting! And excellent choice of a nen ability, wow!!!!!!!!! That would definitely be handy in battle! Ohhhh hahahaha you are so right about one more very true fact that Ruby and Gon have in common!!!!!!!!!!! XD
