Hey everyone!  I am back today with the start of Nomad of Nowhere!  Here's my reaction to episode 3!  Wow, we get even more action and development here!  We learn some interesting facts about the Nomad's powers, meet Ranch Hand, and see Skout diffuse what was becoming a rather ugly situation, all while learning more about how this world works!
The story with Toth and Skout and their mission really further proves that there is a pretty cut and dry way that this system works, and Skout doesn't fit into it as well.  And the Nomad's adventure was so fun and action packed!  It's sad that he still had to leave Bliss Hill, but at least it was on good terms I guess?  Great ep!  Can't wait to see more!  Enjoy!  ~ MH

I love this episode especially giving a good resolution to the story set up last episode. I like the design of the Ranch Hand feels inspired by a Clint Eastwood character or something. It feels like it was implied that the people around here aren’t the most educated so 1 of them accidentally revealing that the Nomad was here makes sense. Also the guy locking himself in the cell and handcuffs is hilarious. It was sad to see Nomad doubt his abilities because of the problems he caused but I love how willing he was to help even when they drove him off. The Iron Border was mentioned last episode once but in this episode we get a better idea of what it might be like. Based on the robotic arm I believe a steam punk design with a Western/fantasy style would make the most sense for that location in my opinion. I like how they are humorously playing with character archetypes by being self-aware with the guy telling jokes and getting bored waiting for the show down. I really enjoy how even though Nomad has really powerful abilities from a strength standpoint he’s outclassed and has to use trickery, ingenuity and creativity with his powers to fight. Also the absurd humor of bringing inanimate objects to life and the situations it creates is amazing. I’m glad the kids decided to help but unfortunately they are still just children. The strength of the Ranch Hand is impressive but so is Nomad’s durability. I think it’s super interesting how he defeats RH and the limitation we now know Nomad’s powers have. I think you are on the right track thinking it was because it was part of their person made it not be affected by his powers but I think it was more about being a robotic arm integrated/connected to a living thing that was the issue. I love the stuff with Toth and Skout letting us explore the world and see how harsh it is, how valuable water truly is as well as the different attitudes and ways of dealing with things in this world of T and S. Also notice how 1 of the other people under Toth mentioned how she is going to give his people a bad name implying they are from the same race and because it’s being mentioned so obviously I think it will be important. I think they did a good job of showing how bittersweet the end of this adventure was for the Nomad. It sucks that because of how sought after magic is he well bring unwanted attention/danger to the places he goes to. Finally there was great voice acting all around. Great reaction and I can’t wait more. Keep up the great work. :-) <3

It's a great one! Yes, I can totally see that inspiration for the Ranch Hand! Yeah, we covered in the last ep that the education levels in this town might be fairly low so it did make sense! YES the poor deputy was funny lol. Yeah steampunk does apply here when it comes to the arm! Getting bored waiting for the showdown was amazing haha. Yes, there's so much you can do story-wise when it comes to the Nomad's magic! I know, poor kids!!! Ohhhhhh that's a great point about it being a robotic arm, not something organic! Good call! Oh I didn't quite catch that about "giving a bad name", thanks for pointing it out! It was interesting to explore things with Toth and Skout for sure. Right, it was a bittersweet adventure for sure! And the VAs are most definitely killing it! Thank you so much, I'm so happy you liked it and thanks for all your support and kindness!!!!!!!!!!!! XD
