Hey everyone!!!  Here I am with episode 8 of season 2 of Demon Slayer!!!  Oh dang, here we go with the Entertainment District Arc!!!!  So much going on here, like the incredible (and heartwarming, heartbreaking, and frustrating!) scenes with Rengoku's family; Muzan being a little boy apparently lol, training / AAAABS, and getting to know a brand new Hashira!  Gotta say, I think this is gonna be a very good arc with lots of new scenery, concepts, etc.!  Oh yeah, let's not forget that we learned the actual name of Tanjiro's technique, whoa!!!  Great ep - enjoy!!!  ~ MH

So when I fired up this episode I didn’t look at the runtime, and I started to think, gee, this sure FEELS longer than usual. 😅 Wonder if this is a one time thing or are we getting 45 every week now… 👀 Ufotable: you know that Rengoku scene is still an open wound for Melissa, right? Let’s recap and dump some more SALT in it. 😈 Mister Muzan. Neo called, she wants her Semblance back. Zenitsu stealing the bean paste buns from Aoi’s kitchen = Melissa trying to discreetly get more snacks without anyone noticing? It’s not an straight up apples to apples comparison, but did you get any Schnee Family vibes from the Rengoku family dynamic? “I want to have Tanjiro personally head butt every character I’ve ever been upset with.” Ummm, considering the amount of shows you’ve seen, I don’t think any of us have the time for you to even start MAKING that list in the first place… 😳 Looks at opening: hmm, maybe this is why the new Hashira was looking for a female? Either way I figured it out: we’re basically all going to Las Vegas this time! Nothing crazy could possibly happen in this scenario, right? Right…?😂

It shouldn't feel right if your child passes away before you do. I know the father said a lot of crazy stuff here but he's still going through some stuff. After hearing his sons final words to him he must be feeling even lower, knowing even after he gave him such a hard time, Rengoku found it in him to have no malice towards him. Let's carry him with us always 🤧🔥 I never expected this newish hashira guy to be so forceful(?). I was so focused on him saying flamboyant last season that it never occurred to me how serious he looked when saying it to Tanjiro w/ a hard stare down. This is going to be interesting? 💎

Hahha yeah I had totally forgotten that I'd read somewhere months ago that they'd be doing a double episode thing to kick off the new arc!!! Ugggghhhh they need to put that salt AWAY though!!!! D': Lol! Hahahahahahahha omg if Muzan has a parasol the next time we see him I'm gonna start getting suspicious!!! LOL Zenitsu was totally me there, for sure!!! Hmm, I didn't get Schnee vibes right away, but now that you mention it, I can see the similarities very well for sure!!! LOL that list would be loooooooooooooonngg for sure hahah!!! Haha yeah I'm guessing the whole "female" thing had to do with where they're going, and dang, a Demon Slayer version of Las Vegas sounds exciting and scary at the same time hehe!!!! Can't wait for more!

That's so true!!!! I know he was hurting a lot and I was trying to keep that in mind.....Rengoku was absolutely pure for being able to have no malice towards him, it's something I clearly struggled with a lot more in this ep because I just couldn't help but think of how his son was feeling too!!! :( It's so sad because the dad is really sick and hurting in his own way. It's a great demonstration of how others can be hurt by our own hurt/issues. YES Rengoku will always live on in our hearts <333 LOL yeah I was trying really hard to feel out what this new hashira is all about!!! The spank just about knocked me outta my chair lol!!! It's definitely gonna be interesting!!!!!!!!
