Hey everyone!!!  Here it is - my reaction to Jujutsu Kaisen episode 7!!!  WHOA, I knew Gojo was powerful, but I just had no idea....!!!  Watching him not sweat this curse at all, but rather gleefully take this as an opportunity to train Yuji, was just delightful.  Not to mention, we get a lot more info on Domains here, and we get to see Gojo's....!!!!  It's beautiful and terrifying at the same time haha.  What exactly is this new crew of baddies planning???  I can't wait to find out!  Great ep - enjoy!!!  ~ MH

'Existential' is the best description of Gojo's power I've ever heard! So my way of describing Gojo to someone who hasn't seen the show is that he is like the Main Villain of an anime (handsome, powerful, always in control, very ruthless and cold to his enemies) who decided that instead of conquering the world he wanted to raise the next generation of heroes to change it for him.

I made a comment awhile ago that there were some names that would be easy to get confused over, and this is the first example - Gojo and Jogo are two of the THREE characters with very similar names that I sometimes get confused over! I actually really like Jogo. His way of talking is very 'old man'-like in terms of word choice, which makes sense for a volcano-themed curse, and his voice actor is a veteran of old men in anime. Incidentally, Jogo's VA also voiced Yuuji's grandfather in episode 1!

I like that Yuuji seems kind of dumb sometimes, and thinks he's a little dumb himself, but he's actually a very quick learner. I believe the manga mentioned that he was a surprisingly good student, though I might be wrong - I couldn't find that line in the first chapter. Maybe I imagined it? I'm only a casual reader of the manga, and I stopped when I realized how good the anime is. I want to experience the anime first, and then go back and read the manga with the voices and music in my head.

I could get lost in those eyes, not to mention Gojo's lashes. I like Jogo, he's strong. I think he's stronger than Sukuna currently cause of the circumstances (with Sukuna being kinda dormant in Yuji), I could be wrong there. That's my guess when Gojo brought that up. But however strong he is Gojo's just untouchable. They did Jogo dirty in the juju stroll. 😂 He already got beheaded. He didnt need to be played w/ like that⚽

Omg saaaammmee!!! Ohhh I see what you mean about Jogo! It's crazy to think that Gojo is that much more powerful then though - because even now Sukuna can do some real damage when he's out! Hahahaha the soccer game was pretty brutal too lol!!!

Oh yay, glad you liked my description! Oh and I LOVE that explanation of Gojo!!!! Ahhh I see what you mean about the names haha. No kidding about the grandpa and Jogo having the same VA!!!! Yeah, Yuuji is surprising that way! I wouldn't be surprised if he was a good student, despite seeming airheaded at times. (Hey that sounds like me lol!)

So, about the power differences displayed in this episode. I get the feeling you forgot that Sukuna currently is nowhere near his true power. The important bits of information for this came in episodes 2 and 6. Here are the key points: It all comes down to the problem with Sukuna’s fingers, if you remember. In episode 2 we learn that Sukuna originally was the most powerful curse ever and the jujutsu sorcerers of his time could not defeat him. So once he was gone (however that happened) and his fingers somehow became cursed objects, they dispersed those fingers around Japan and sealed them separately from each other. Sukuna had four arms and thus twenty fingers. Yuji reawakened Sukuna in his body after eating that first finger in episode 1 and in episode 2 Gojo gives him a second finger. According to Gojo, the jujutsu sorceres have six of the fingers in total. Also in episode 2, Yuji asked Gojo who was stronger, him or Sukuna. Gojo said that if Sukuna regained his full power (meaning all twenty fingers) it would be a little draining but he would still win against Sukuna. That puts Gojo at a level of at least twenty Sukuna fingers, if you will, potentially more. In episode 6 where the special grade curses talked with Geto in the café, it was estimated that Jogo (volcano head) was at the level of eight or nine Sukuna fingers. That would make quite a bit stronger than the current Sukuna, as Gojo also estimates here in episode 7. Because current Sukuna only has two fingers absorbed. It's a bit late but I hope this clears up a bit of the confusion about Gojo’s immense power advantage that’s displayed here.

Ahhhh yes, thank you for setting this all out for me! I do remember the talk they had about the fingers, and how Jogo was ranked at 8 or 9 fingers. I think seeing how powerful Sukuna was against the curse a few eps back sort of made me forget that he's not even at full, 20 finger level power yet! It also helps to have it all set out in one place so thanks for the explanation!!!!!! This will definitely help me understand it a bit better going forward :D

About Gojo Infinity is just like how it can be explained in Real life for example, no matter how many times we divide 1 by 2 we dont get near 0, we just get a smaller number every time. so the space, in this case between gojo and jogo hands, is infinite. I think it can also be explained with: Gojo hand is 0 and Jogo is 1, the closer Jogo hand goes to Gojos the distance is halved every time but never trully goes to 0. Hopefully that explains it a bit? maybe someone could explain it better xD I have a hard time explaining this bit.

yeaah.. not really sure how Gojo Domain works.. :D but from my understanding Domains.. are like.. pocket dimension.. that trap your target inside.. and 1. they cant leave.. 2. they have to face the passive enviromental effect (altough thats probably not certain for all domains) but definitely in those 2 (lethal level of burn or.. infinite amount of procceded information lol) 3. domains users attacks are guaranteed to hit.. no matter what.. oh boy.. if you think about it.. thats pretty overpowered.. :D seems like if you get there (and are not Gojou) you are just done for.. :DD oh and 4. one of a way out is to lay your own domain.. but that also only seems like Gojou (maybe Sukuna) thing.. cant really see someone else overpower a domain like that :o there is another way.. that will be shown and but cant tell yet :D
