Hey everyone! Here it is - my reaction to ep 7 of Kamen Rider Gavv!!! Dang guys, I'm loving the shenanigans surrounding the whole secret identity thing with Shouma and Hanto right now!!! They've done such a great job of adding some really dark elements this early on, that it's nice to have some goofiness as a staple too! Plus, we get Gavv's chocolate form, which has a totally different but equally yummy vibe to Valen's!!! We've got an artist in trouble now, what happens next? Guess we'll find out! Great ep! I've been WAITING to talk about this form for a long while. But before I get into that, I just want to say I hope you enjoy your Gochizos! o: Anyways, out of the Forms we've seen in the promotional materials this one has to be my favorite. First off, let's talk aesthetics. Normally Cowboy themed things aren't my favorite(well 'cept for Revolver component, I just think they're real neat and look real cool), but it hits my favorite type of look for a Cowboy... The 'Man with no Name' kind of look. As for the gun, at first I didn't like the overall design... But taking a closer look, I can't help but appreciate the little details of it... Like how the handle has some "melted" detail on it like the chocolate it's made out of is melting from the heat of Gavv's hand. Of course that detail might be hard to spot since Gavv's going to be always holding it. xD However there's one thing that bothers me... The CGI for the ammunition. At first I wondered why the chocolate in the show was styled after whoppers instead of squares, but then I had a thought... They're pellets. I don't think Revolvers commonly used pellets, but they did exist. Not to mention it'd mix in better with the real life effects, because clearly they're using paintballs with brown paint in them(at least I HOPE that's brown paint. xD ). ...But I do love the detail of Gavv having to bite off the chocolate bits off the gun. xD It just makes me think about the whole 'sawing off the shotgun barrel' thing. I also love the finisher. Started out weird, but then ended pretty cool. So I'm glad to see that Valen hasn't exactly changed much... I was fearing that he was going to get a lot more aggressive about the monsters, and even start questioning about Gavv...but if he's acting this goofy right now, I'm just glad to have the type of Valen I wanted. It's nice to see new riders getting along so well... Also Shouma's grand uncle is real nice, giving Shouma a Smart-Phone as a present. o: Poor Akane this episode... ; n; I cringed pretty hard when she had to apologize like that. Like maaaaaybe she was touching on a sore subject, maaaaaybe she picked the wrong painting to appreciate, but getting paint thrown in her face AND getting yelled at for it? That's too much, c'mon. :c Hell I'm pretty sure she only apologized because she realized *why* exactly he was upset and she 'messed up', but that's even more reason why she didn't deserve that treatment. ...Also speaking of Akane, well... If she does become a Kamen Rider(I've seen people speculate about it, and I want to throw my two cents in before anything's totally confirmed.), I'm going to have two guesses as to what her snack will be. My main guess: Pudding. I mean we've got our Gaim Meme with the 'Juicy' reference, so why not a Den-O reference with Momo's favorite snack? Momotaro even did a series of shorts with Don Momotaro of the Don Brothers that heavily involved pudding. Not to mention it'd be the first refrigerated treat, which helps it stand out even more! My second guess: Lemon Drops. She could be Kamen Rider 'Yuzu', and I'm sure Akane would love that name. ;D Not to mention she also stands out in another way! Gavv's base form is based on something sweet, Valen's Base form is based on something bitter, and Akane's would be based on something sour. Plus it's a hard candy, so that stands out too. ...It would be hilarious if the three of them had no idea the others were Kamen Riders. I wouldn't want that span out through the whole series, but I want some episodes of our characters having to dance around that. ;D Get into some hijinks! I just hope she does become a rider, because I'm not going to lie... When I first saw Saber, I thought the girl was going to be Yellow/Gold Rider. T_T I thought she was going to be a part of the main rider trio. ...Poor Hanto is about to find out the hard way what a 'Dommy Mommy' is. D: And she's a HUGE RWBY fan from the looks of it... ...I'd say RIP to Chocodan #2, but... You saw what it did to that poor little Poppin' Gummy. >:T Just in case you are clear for snacks, next episode's snack suggestion will actually be the exact same as last time, Whoppers. Seems like this series is in the middle of a chocolate craving. ...I do have to admit though, maybe Whoppers should jump on the idea of selling milk chocolate and white chocolate in the same box. > 3> Edit: Okay after seeing the reaction, there's one thing I have to say... Would you say Gavv's gun is a Six-Shooter or a Shit-Shooter? :P ...It really doesn't help that while the finisher was clearly modeled after an ice cream cone dipped in chocolate, it also looks like the cartoonish way Japan draws it's poop. xD

Also.. Glad to see you didn't get the crying Poppin Gummy. 🤣 The mystery bag is less "who's in the bag" and more "what expression they're making", though there's only one different expression. Usually the transformation items come in small boxes, but this Year Gohcizos by themselves come in bags meant to emulate.. Candy Bags. O: Edit: I completely forgot to talk about the Gochizo Maison. This thing had been out for a while, and to be honest... Look at the bag the kid brings in on episode 1, it looks like a similar design doesn't it? I thought that Shouma was going to turn that bag into the Gochizo Maison, but I suppose that would mean the kid would have to play more of a part. T_T I miss that kid. That and I suppose it makes more sense that he'd craft it rather than use... I dunno, some sort of Monster Magic. I wish the toy version was bigger, especially since it's a craft project. xD Because it's not good at displaying the Gochizo, just storing them. However the little Blue Gochizo that jumped on the lever in the show actually comes with the kit, I think it might only be an assist Gochizo though... ...Though to be honest I wonder if it'll even get used. Like we've seen Cookie and Senbei Gochizos, but I'm not sure if we'll see them used in the show. ...I could see them being used for a Mass Produced Rider system though.

Yeah the bullet splatters...just don't look right X_X Also if u look closely at Shoma's chocolate form, The reason he has a gun is cuz he's supposed to resemble a COWBOY. He's a CHOCOLATE COWBOY. He even has a chocolate poncho and cowboy hat! Also if u look at his poncho, The top layer is solid chocolate but underneath is a layer of flowing Melted Chocolate, but if we're following the logic of his forms having certain drawbacks. U can Imagine Gavv and Valen won't do so well when there's heat involved. Their suits might end up melting if that happens.

Hi Hime :) I've seen discussions saying that when "Gavv" and "Valen" meet on the roof, it's the meeting of two brain cells, and I tend to agree lol. Between that and the recent photoshoot of the two actors together, yaoi and BL fans are in heaven. I mean, look at them : https://x.com/_Captain_Duck/status/1846021948029260183 But yeah, this whole secret identity thing brings a lot of humor, which was much needed. For Sachika, I've seen people say that the fact that she's covered in yellow paint, yellow being the color of her bubbles in the intro, would possibly be a connection to her Kamen Rider form if she becomes one. There are indeed rumors of a possible third rider, who would be "yellow snack" related, without being chips. I'll let you think about that on your own so you'll still be surprised if it turns out to be true. As for the effect of the chocolate bullets, rest assured, I thought the same thing. But yes, Gavv has a more "cowboy" look with the chocolate, the chips were more samurai, now I want to see his form again to know if there is a "costume" or "culture" theme in addition to the snacks in his forms. Regarding Glotta, her looks alone had already given her the nickname "mommy" before the episodes even came out, her introduction here doesn't help change that lol. Between the size difference with her little siblings, her saying she was going to spank the workers and her kicking Hanto... You can definitely add the "dommy" in front of "mommy" lol. I've seen a lot of fanart going in this direction by the way, she made a strong impression ^^'. My pansexual ass is really happy with Nyelv and Glotta for sure.

I liked Gavv's chocolate cowboy form, but the artist lashing out at poor Sachika...no. Hopefully that gets resolved because she really didn't deserve that.

You posted the reaction time, did this turn into a JoJo episode? I think you may have slightly misunderstood the conclusions that Shouma and Hanto came to at the beginning - Hanto thinks Shouma is another human who got modified, and Shouma thinks Hanto is another Granute like him. Also, I believe the name Valen is pronounced like it is in the word “valentine.” Shouma is an eager beaver to be sure, but he really um… probably needs to reign it in just a little bit because he literally broke a tree while cultivating the yard! Also Sachika’s grandma is out of eggs… The whole Shouma/Hanto exchange is giving me major Spy x Family vibes, I think you can probably figure out why when you think about it. When both Riders are discussing their modification operations with Suga and Dente, they’re rewalizing, hang on, there’s someone else who can do these sort of operations. They’re not referring to a third party, but each other without knowing it. I mean, Sheeta and Jeebh are under a lot of pressure, but somehow their worker just managed to go right to the house Shouma just left, talk about bad timing for them. It all did seem a little TOO good to ge true didn’t it? As for the other painter, well, Sachika was trying to cheer him up and I think she probably got a little too up in his space - still, throwing paint on her wasn’t necessary. But what’s his deal? Oh, and Valen has to fight one of the siblings now…this is either going to go great or terrible. Next week’s snack: DOUBLE CHOCOLATE.

Hi Spadeas! :) LOL!!! Their last two brain cells I think :P Omg, I bet there's a ship going already! I love the humor! It'd be really funny if she became a Rider whose primary color was yellow now! Hahahah ok cool, glad I'm not the only one who thought that! I do LOVE the idea of a Chocolate Cowboy though! I had a feeling you'd like Glotta! ;) LOL I'm not surprised fans have caught on to the vibe so fast!!! They're definitely not holding back on the eye candy this time around!

I LOVE my Gochizos!!! Thank you again!! I agree that this is a great cowboy look! I'm glad the gun grew on you, and thanks for pointing out the melting aspect! I was SO relieved to see that Hanto's personality hasn't changed! I was worried we'd do a Demons thing! I know, the uncle seems kinda sweet! OMG the paint thing was so uncalled for!!! Ohh interesting thoughts on her form and the inspiration behind it, hmm!!! Lemon Drops would actually be a good one! I would LOVE it if they all didn't know each other were Kamen Riders!! Hahaha yup she's got the RWBY references and dommy mommy is a pretty accurate way to describe her! OOF, yeah, poor Poppin Gummy! Sadly, I'm not cleared for any snacks :( Unless they don't have flour or sugar! But I'll live vicariously through the show! HAHAHAHAHAHA I'd have to say Gavv's gun is the latter :P I mean it's just so poop coded, I'm not sure if it was intentional or if they really thought no one would notice :P

I felt like the Poppin' Gummy's crying face would've be far more common than the alternate faces of the other Gochizos... But as cute(in a way, I guess. xD) the crying one is... I mean, you *should* at least have the original guy. o: He's so spunky! I wish you got the alternate ZakuZaku Chips though. Nothing wrong with the normal expression, but the other one is more like: " :D " xD Yeah... I know it's always the case with these toys, but looking at how the Gochizo Maison looks in the show... Well, that for SURE could (probably) hold all the Gochizo merch for the show. I'm thinking of getting another one to hold the Legend Rider Gochizo, but I dunno. = o= It'd be interesting to see what form it'd be used with... But I have my suspicion for what it could be. ...I just can't get into it yet. With Senbei's color scheme(and the fact it's a Japanese Ricer Cracker, which I feel like is the all too common traditional snack of Japan), it just kind of screams out 'Demons Trooper' or just any of the 'Trooper/Mass Produced' kind of Riders to me.

They really got us good in the preview. xD It looked like Valen was like suffering in a way, and the little comedy bits in the episode where they're in their own little thoughts... From the way they cut it, I thought that due to using Shouma's Gochizo, it connected them in a way. Like Shouma could feel Hanto's suffering, and he's freaking out over it. Meanwhile, due to not knowing who said: "I got it, I won't ask anymore questions." it made it seem like Hanto had his eye on Shouma and was suspect about *something* about him. ...But I'm glad that was not the case. xD

Hi! Don't know if anyone already tell you or not. The Gochizou house Shouma made is also a product being sell! Or so I heard. Not seeing a lot on Youtube or any media. Alright, I think I found my new favorite Gavv's form aside from Popping Gummy and ZakuZaku Chips. This might be the most favorite one for me. I'm not really into eating real choclate bar, but I love Choclate milk and ice-cream! It seems both Shouma and the Gochizous like their product. Shouma biting a bar after transformed into Choclate form, making it a gun. Also, we cass spot Gochizous eating from the trail Choclate bullets left. We also seen Gochizou eating gummies that split out from the fight in first ep too. No wonder they really like it.
