Hey everyone!  Here it is - my reaction to episode 46 of Kamen Rider Gotchard! Oh dang, just what the heck is going on here! First off we have that really weird moment with Geryon and Atropos, that parallels the moment between Rinne and her dad...!!! Then we have a whole episode about how Chemies are being exploited by the general public - and I've gotta say, that really says more about humans than it does about Chemies! And then we get a SPANNER HEEL TURN!!!!! What?!?! I guess I should've seen this coming, I just didn't think it would happen this late in the game, dang! Great ep!  Enjoy!  ~ MH

Next time the long awaited moment since we met spanner has come to pass.

Well, it really make me mad, but I would say that would be something that should happen if someone aware of Kamen Riders and Chemies existance. But I'm really mad at those adult who try to steal Hopper1's plushie. Because... it's out as a merchandise now!!! But it's need to be order through P-Bandai website. This one is from Tokullectibles. I don't know when will it open anyway. https://tokullectibles.com/products/hopper-1-chibi-plush Let's get HOPPA!!! Well... I want to say that I never like Spanner attitude toward Chemy. It's like he never learn or have a character development even through he has one, when he gained the power of Kamen Rider. That's the only time I see Spanner see Chemies as something more than a tool, more like they become underling of him or something. But now Spanner keep saying that it's impossible for Chemy to live with Human. I want to think that he's just telling the realistic fact, or that he just doesn't agree that Hotarou can just do what he dream easily. I mean, even the one who is bad now is the society, we still can't deny the fact that it is too soon for Chemy to live with Human. Spanner is telling the truth. However, a sudden turn like this make Spanner's character develop badly again. I want to think he has something up on his sleeve now, but if I was Hotarou, I would punch him badly. I mean... for real?! We still have the abyssalis kings to deal with. How we gonna do without Chemies? People start to theorize that Spanner is influenced by Gigist. More like Gigist teach him how to control his flame, or telling him what he should do in order to counterattack Gaelijah. Spanner might still have something in mind, just that Gigist help him out. 4 episodes left, now I want to see how Hotarou will make his dream become true. What bad is... In Thailand, some fans are now complain that they show these issues too late, and it is due to Legend's 3 episode period. It seems there are always people who have issues with Gotchard. Some that compare it to Geats, some complain about Hotarou poor acting (which improved a lot since the first episode, but they still don't see it), and now, they complain every time that a new plot was revealed. The secret laboratory? Too late for it! Kajiki love story? Why now? People get their memories back? Why did you guys wait so long to show us? They just have all the complaint that I don't understand why do they have this much problem, as I still see that this is not something to be upset with. The only issue I have now is that Majade still doesn't get her Upgrade form. Anyway, I'm glad there still people defending Gotchard in my community. It's proving that this series is not that bad. And... to those reporters. You guys are the one raiding the academy dude! You guys are the wrong! Why did you make it like the Alchemists are bad guys? The Alchemists protect you from everything! Now they are the one who done all that chaos? DAMN!

Hi Hime :) So yeah, the famous scene between Atropos and Geryon, which reminds of the one between Rinne and her father. I don't really know what to think about it, I only have two theories that clash. 1 - Atropos is based on Rinne 2 - Rinne is Geryon's daughter and this information has been altered by alchemy We'll see what happens, but at least we know that they keep this story in mind and want to conclude it so I'll take it. For the human and chemies side, we'll say that as with many things, humans create some things and give themselves the right to destroy them because ultimately it's beyond them... It's a fairly classic scenario when we talk about AI and androids, so not so surprised by the fact that humans are the problem here, once again. I don't know if Spanner is controlled by Gigist, but he's certainly controlled by his anger, born from his desire to protect. He saw people harassing a kid for a chemy plushie and attacking Kyoka because of the chemies, so he took one of the extreme routes, removing what he judges to be the source of the problem. Again, this is something we've unfortunately seen many times, Ironwood in RWBY, wanting to destroy Mantle because that way Penny won't have to protect them anymore, is of the same kind. But Spanner hasn't gone too far yet, so he can get back on the right track compared to our Tin Man. Now, what scares me the most is what will happen to Rinne, what did Gaelijah do to her and what does she have in store for her? There are only four episodes left and the next one will probably be focused on the Spanner problem, so three episodes for Gaelijah, Gigist and Geryon, it's going to be short (unless our three riders each take care of one of them).

“To save those Chemies you love, a precious life will be lost.” Well, gee that’s not ominous at all is it… but it is something this series likes to play at. So anyway, it seems that everyone’s getting their memories back at the same time and they’re not too thrilled about the prospect of being manipulated. Based on what happens to Rinne and Hotaro, it kind of makes sense why the laws exist. However… Somebody mentioned that the entire Alchemy Association had fled from their posts when this all started - typical people in charge, right? Good grief… as Sabi said… they can do that?? As far as the Atropos/Rinne connection it’s not a bad guess - there has to be an explanation why they’re mimicking. Perhaps they are copies of Fuga and Rinne. I started to wonder about Minato’s line to Hotaro about betting everything on him… his friend wouldn’t be his dad would it? I am not sure that timeline adds up… I think that Spanner’s encounter with the girl was probably the first straw - the lady took her Hopper plushie thinking it was real. Also, hey… this giving you any… ideas? But he said after seeing that Kyoka’s lab was ransacked he didn’t have a choice anymore. Everything he’s seen us just reinforcing the point of view he’s been harboring up to this point. You might call it a heel turn, but what he’s doing doesn’t seem that out of character based on how he’s behaved up to this point - it’s more like he’s doubling down. Also if the association fled who are those other guys with him? And I’ve of them asked him, “do you understand the risks of what you’re doing?” Well, other than alienating his entire group of friends… he doesn’t really seem to care that much at the moment. “Humans are causing a lot of trouble and we’re leaving it up to a group of kids to save the day?” Let’s roll back that sentence and think about what this show is again? 😅 A precious life… for some reason now I’m wondering if Lachesis should be worried. Here we go into August….

They’re cutting it really close with Gotchard. I didn’t that whole thing with Kyoka and Lachesis in the lab would lead to a turn. Hopefully he’s doing something that he feels has to be done. That theory of Rinne and Atropos is looking pretty valid right now. “You don’t know how I feel”— girl she is you!

Hopefully they're just referring to "old" Spanner? :P Super ominous! Yeah I guess I can see why no one is jazzed about having had their memories wiped before. I get the laws, but yeah, this is kind of a no-win scenario. Lol yup, leave it to the higher ups to take off when it gets rough! OOOHHHH that's actually a really interesting theory about his friend being Hotaro's dad! The friend seemed kinda young at the time, and that was 10 years earlier...but I mean, possibly! OMG I can almost see why someone getting their plushie stolen would push someone over the edge. I totally need that plushie! Yeah, this has been building for a while. And true, he's not acting super out of character. Hahaha I mean, if fiction has taught us anything, I guess it's that it's always a group of kids that saves the day :P Hmm, I wonder. Yeah, we're in the endgame now!!

Hi Spadeas! :) I actually love both those theories and either one of them could be likely! Right, this is a recurring theme particularly in today's society as we're dealing with the dawn of AI. True, I think maybe this is just Spanner being Spanner. Poor plushie! I can totally see how this is an Ironwood scenario!! Omg you're right, I get being scared for Rinne! Only four eps left, there is a LOT to resolve!!!

I know, the plushie scene was horrible! YESSSSS HOPPA!! I knew they must be selling it haha, thank you so much! I agree, Spanner has a rather cold attitude towards Chemies, even if sometimes he does have a point about how they'd fit into society. I really hope he has something up his sleeve too! Kinda like what Minato did. Yeah I'm wondering about the connection with Gigist. Yeah I can understand how people are having some issues with the timing of it all! Some of this feels very last minute and/or like they should've introduced this earlier to have more time to resolve it, but I'll wait and see how they wrap things up before I get too set on that idea. Exactly, like I hate to say it but, it's humans' reaction that's causing the problem here, not Chemies or the AA!!
