Hey everyone! WOW!!! This batch was pretty amazing! We get a clever new Stand fight, a huge level up for Johnny after a visit from the Big Guy Himself, some real fierceness and maybe even craziness from Johnny, and more! Everyone was dealing with their past in this one, gotta love some good flashbacks! Plus we caught up a little with Lucy and wow, this girl really just can't catch a break! Oh yeah, and Magenta Magenta is back, ugh! Really rooting for Wekapipo here! Can't wait for more! Enjoy! ~ MH

Hey Melissa, thanks for mentioning me editing the video again. I really tried to bring a new approach to your videos this time. Not that I have anything to criticize about your previous editing style, but I wanted to bring a little more life into your videos and I think I did a good job. I hope you like my new approach and that I can continue to implement it in future videos. Okay, now I come to the content of the review. I'm very glad to hear that you liked the Civil War arc as much as I did. Not only is it very action-heavy, but it's also very emotional for our characters and we learn a lot more about them. Of course, we start with Hotpants. It was bound to happen somewhere that she might be a nun because of her comment a few chapters earlier. I'm really proud of you for figuring that out so early on, that she might be a nun. Her backstory is very tragic and sad, just like everyone in this part. Think about how hard it must be for her to live with what happened. I think that's why she went to the Vatican, to cleanse her soul and get rid of her sins. But I think a sin like that always lives with you when you've given your little brother the bear. I think this scene will also be very hard to watch in the anime. And knowing David Production, they like to flesh out such tragic backstories. With this one, they're free to do without, because I don't want to see any more of it animated than necessary. The scenes between Hotpants and Johnny were also quite sexy, you could almost say. I really thought that Araki could build up some kind of romantic relationship between the two of them, because this has already happened more than once between them. But I rather think that sometimes Johnny doesn't really know what privacy space means. Axl Ro can't exactly be described as a very sympathetic antagonist, because he's responsible for a lot of people dying unnecessarily. But still, I found his fight quite amusing and he's not as hateable as Valentine or other antagonists. Civil War really has a very interesting stand design, which I think is really cool. It was of course painful to see Johnny having to deal with his past struggles and face his fears again. Personally, I interpret it the same way you do, that Nikolas probably doesn't hate Johnny for dying. After all, he was the one who suggested that Danny be released. I think rather Nicolas' attack on Johnny was Johnny's own interpretation of Nicolas' feelings, how he could probably feel, and his own guilt that sort of attacked him. Which I think is a really nice interpretation. Of course, the most depressing thing was seeing that Valentine is the one who has all the body parts. It was a great plot twist that he showed up in person to defeat Axl Ro. Also, the scene at the end with Valentine and Lucy wasn't exactly pleasant to watch. You notice the slight change in Valentine's design now, that he looks more muscular and also more attractive. Personally, I wouldn't call him the most attractive villain in Jojo, but he's no longer ugly either. In the next review it will be a bit more awkward for you as we will get more Valentine x Lucy scenes, although we never asked for that. But Araki just figured, yeah, more sexual action in the manga couldn't hurt since I'm writing for adults now. I can't say whether that's pleasant for us now. But I'm curious to see how you react to it.

Love the touches Leonie put in this one. The “dun dun dunnn!” sound effect for The President killed me 🤣 Man a lot about Hot Pantaloons in such a short story. You were right in the money. But man what a story. I cannot believe that! :0 I wouldn’t know how to deal after something like that. I’d risk my own life if I had to. It wouldn’t feel right returning to normal life after that. My guess for the panels that focused on Johnny & HP’s lips are just Johnny being intimidating with his words and HP’s are a bit parted because she’s of course being effectived by the stand. So dramatics— plus the usual Jojo bizarre’s odd tension in the most random places is mix in with it. Lol I didn’t know Gyro’s unawareness of Hot Pants’s gender was a running joke but I guess it’s nun of his business anyway. I’ll leave shortly🚪🚶 Sin seems to be the theme in this batch. In others too but this week focused heavily on it. Man Johnny was on fire here. How can he not be when he has Jesus on his side?! Christ really helped strengthen him. I still can’t believe he actually appeared in Jojo. Man that’s still so wild to me 🙏 The stands in this part are cool and all but in a general scope I feel like I’m missing something with how they work or activate especially with the corpse parts involved in part 7. But overall very interesting stuff. Although I do have to keep in mind these characters are learning like we are I guess. So maybe we learn more as they do. It’s weird to think about this “version” of Jonathan is picking up stands while the first didn’t. Just interesting to really think about. I loved Axl’s stand. Perfect for Jesus to help with. He died for our sins you know. 😌 🙏 lol but for real it was an interesting one for sure. I like how we’ve seen so many that you can compare to past stands yet they have different ways of working. Johnny’s ability reminds me of Jolyne with the infinity thingamajig she created with her stand. Johnnys is like a combination of that with the others mentioned who can split off into different pieces with their stand abilities. He’s a different level of stand user now! Darn I wish there was a blue fire emoji to match his eyes. Oh well. 🔥 MM (Magenta Magenta) really got on my nerves here. Thank goodness Steele is alive and well. That was too close a call. I’m about to be as done as Johnny and Gyro in the race right now if there is yet another thing that would make Lucy even more uncomfortable or upset. And there is. I hope next week brings good news because I’m not liking where this leaves off. 🤮 Avon catalogs! What a throwback. lol aw I hear you sometimes the sexiest things about a man is the littlest cutest things they do. I hope he gets that new teddy bear. The other one seemed a bit defective 🤠 🔫 🧸

Hey Leonie!! Oh my gosh, you've more than earned a mention! I'm loving your edits and I'm truly grateful that you're breathing some life into my videos with your style! You're really kind to say that, and I'm so happy you like my content - but it's way more dynamic and fun to watch now! ^_^ I really loved this arc! I can see why you enjoyed it too! There's great action but some amazing character stuff as well. Also thank you for your compliments on me figuring out that HP was a nun! This is an enormous burden for her to bear (no pun intended!), I can't even imagine. I agree that this will probably be tough to watch when animated, and knowing DP they won't spare our feelings at all when doing it!! Ok I'm so glad I wasn't the only one who thought those scenes were very sexy lol, I thought maybe I'd just been reading too many fanfics :P I'm kinda surprised he wasn't building up a ship with them too! I agree, Axl Ro isn't super sympathetic but he also has some aspects that make you feel bad for him. And Civil War has a really cool design! Johnny having to confront all this again was so sad! Yeah I doubt Nicholas could ever hate him! But that's probably how Johnny feels about it like you said. It makes total sense that Civil War would play more on someone's guilt over their sins than the actual sins themselves. Oof, yeah, that scene was rough!! I can see the changes happening, Araki just couldn't help but make all his characters pretty and buff :P Also so sad that now he has all the corpse parts!!!! The fact that he'd show up in person shows just how much of the upper hand he must feel he has. Hahaha wow you're not kidding about how weird the next chapters are gonna get :P By now you know that my reaction was pretty cringy lol!!!!! Araki really doesn't spare any graphic elements but I understand why too. Till next time!!!!

But yeah, can you imagine the weight of that...no wonder she's taken on this mission with the corpse parts! Yeah that's the thing, I couldn't quite tell if it was supposed to be more intimate or just something intimidating that came off as intimate because Jojo's has that odd tension running throughout already lol. HAHAHAHAHAHA it's truly nun of his business XD I love that he can't seem to figure it out! Yeah sin is definitely the focus of this one! For real, Johnny is really leaning on that one Scripture "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me"!!! I know, it's so, well, bizarre that Jesus is now in Jojo's :P And that he's showing up in person to interact with the characters. Yeah I don't think they've been really specific about how exactly the corpse parts are activating the Stands. I think though, that Johnny and Gyro are the only ones who directly got their Stands from a corpse part. Oh and maybe Diego! I know, I would've loved to have seen Jonathan with a Stand!! Technically, Dio used what would've been Jonathan's Stand very early on in SDC, and it was basically kind of like Hermit Purple. I believe unofficially the name for it is "The Passion" :) But we never really got to see actual Jonathan use it! OMG you're so right, Jesus dying for our sins makes this the perfect scenario with Axl Ro's Stand right?! I also agree that it's cool to see similar Stands but there's always new/unique nuances. OMG you are so right about when Jolyne did the infinity thing!!! How could I not think of that, that's so genius!! Hahaha I know, there needs to be a Johnny eye fire emoji!! He's on a different level for sure!!! Yeah I'm not loving MM either! Also I'm glad Stephen Steele didn't die. Oof, next week is gonna get....pretty weird for Lucy, fair warning :/ I'm so done as well with her being put in awful situations!!! This girl needs the spa day of a lifetime when this is all over!!! OMG I'm so glad someone else remembers Avon catalogs!!! I'm pretty sure my mom spent more money than she ever made on Avon hahaha. For real, it's the little things guys do that really make that difference!!! I hope he gets his new teddy!!! Old teddy was looking a bit rough :P
