Hey everyone!  Here it is - my reaction to episode 43 of Kamen Rider Gotchard! Oh wow guys, lots going on here! First off, you guys were right that this did boil down to something Sabi did, and the brother took responsibility for it. So that's where the resentment came from - protecting Sabi, but also being a bit jealous of his creation, when it was really their creation the whole time! What a great boss moment for Sabi here too! Even Spanner got a cool hero moment lol. But dang, so Geryon was after Isaac the whole time?! As a means to AI copy himself?! What are all those drivers about?!?!?! Great ep!  Enjoy!  ~ MH

I feel like if this was juuuust even a little bit earlier in the Reiwa era, they would have made Sabi a Kamen Rider. xD ...I mean other than that one horrible time when he became Dread. D: ...It's cool to see him actually beat a Dread without a suit! I kind of like how they did that this season, like Clotho's current 'Battle Gear' doesn't cover her face. From the looks of the ending here... I can't help but feel a wave of Dread incoming... ...Huh. I would've thought they would have found a heroic user for Dread considering how Demons turned out and how it seemed like they were getting Dread Users on Gotchard's side... But I guess they're just going to keep him evil. xD I mean might as well. Wonder if there's going to be a new type that's the gold version? Though I could see them making a new version of the Belt. xD It happened with Demons, it happened with Glare, I wouldn't be surprised if there's a gooooooooold Dread Buckle in the future. xD ...Also I can't wait to see your reaction to the next Kamen Rider series. I won't say much about the Rider, but... You'll probably find the transformation items this time to be absolutely adorable. ...Like seriously, I was planning on just skipping out on collecting stuff from this series to give my wallet a break.. but... It's just too adorable!

We're getting so close to the finale.....but what will the gang do against an army of Dreads?! And not just that, the multiple Dreadrivers are actually connected to the Gotchard Solo movie, but soon enough, sooooon enough, we'll be getting our first look at our next Rider series! And let's just say, it's gonna be sweeeet

Unless they take another break between now and the end of August, I feel like we’re still on track for 50 episodes as was reported in November. (Counts weeks: yup, I’m not crazy, if it goes till then it should be 50.) The obvious main plot of this episode is dealing with Sabi and Keniichi - sibling relationships are, and have always been… complicated things. We know that Malgam energy feeds on negative emotions, but this feels like one we haven’t explored before, and that’s guilt. At first Keniichi seemed very overbearing when Sabi tried to run off but I kind of viewed it more as he was just super overprotective - meanwhile Spanner dealing with a young child plus attitude has popcorn flick written all over it. So much for Kongou Labaratories - what is it with villains strolling into secret locations and burning the place down over the last couple of weeks? Your shows are starting to look a little too much alike… I guess in this particular episode you could say the brothers literally battled their demons… Keniichi battled the guilt over taking all the credit while Sabi has the trauma from when he turned into Dread. They both kind of came to an understanding and got closure, but did you guys have to blow up the front yard? Well, the building’s already burnt so…. Geryon wanted Isaac, I think, because Keniichi has been pouring most of his research into it. You saw how smart it was and how it got Spanner to Arimu - if that power is able to he cloned for villainous purposes… are we doing another SkyNet scenario? Also, I wonder what Geryon said to Mami? Hmm… it’s not like the show to hide things… And we STILL haven’t addressed Hotaro’s dad, Gotchard Daybreak from way earlier, or what’s going on with the whole Legend foreshadowing. That’s kind of a lot to deal with on top of Geryon’s shenanigans in seven more episodes… 👀

I believe those Dread Drivers are for the movie. It is confirmed that Gotchard's movie will take place after this episode and end before the next one.

HAHAHAHA omg if this was Saber, everyone would be a Rider....Kaijiki, Hotaro's mom, etc.!!! :P I know, that was a great moment for him! I'm starting to feel some Dread as well...! Yeah that's true, I could've seen that too, I guess they decided it was just too cool as a villain form! I wouldn't be surprised if we get a new type! And a new belt!!! OMG I'm hearing bits and pieces about the next series but trying to avoid what I can!!! I feel like someone mentioned snacks but that's all I know haha. Dang it, don't you hate it when they come for your wallet that way?! I can't wait!

Sounds good to me! Thanks for the info! Too true, siblings can be tough. That's true, we haven't explored guilt that much before. OMG I'd watch a spinoff about Spanner and the little girl! They both totally faced their fears didn't they. Hahahah it wouldn't be Kamen Rider if they weren't trashing some property I guess! I know, I wanna know what he said too!! For real, are we ever gonna do anything with those plot threads?! That's a lot to deal with in 7 eps!!!!

Right?! LET HOTARO'S MOM BE RIDER! Yeah, the only thing I'll confirm about the new rider is that the transformation trinkets are really super heckin' cute. Like if you thought Chemies were cute... These little guys would probably give you the same kind of dopamine rush you'd get from seeing a cute pet or cute baby. 😂 I'm curious to see what colors you think the Next Rider would have though. o: ...Also my poor bank account is probably looking at me ordering these from Tokucollectibles like that one infamous: "No nononono... WAIT WAIT WAIT WAIT WAIT!" scene from the Punisher show. 🤣

Well, you'll see whether you're right or wrong once it premieres. o: Once you watch it, take a look at the Rider Belt commercial and how they handle the legend rider themes. It only shows Kuuga's but it's too cute.(Not that Older riders play a part in the show, it's just part of the toyline. xD)

One of the Kamen Rider Fans who usually write articles for each episode once stated, that he initially upset that even all the moment showing Sabimaru and his brother doesn't get along, Houtaro still asking about Chemy. However, he soon realized that it was a leading question in order to learn more about their story, and trying to find a way to help him, he take his word back. When I first watch this episode, I was also upset for what does Sabi's brother have to do with his brother. Why he's always piss off. Learning the cause does somehow help me understand him, but I'm not so sure I'm I still angry or not. Anyway, I like the concept of Sabi defeat Dread. Dread is like the personification of Sabi's fear, for that he's once Dread, and he even hurting both Houtaro and get fatally damaged by transforming. Sabi's defeating Dread is somehow showing himself being freed from his own fear. More to that, it's because of ExGotchalibur, the first Gotchard Power up item that used to defeat Dread Type Zero, that Sabi used to defeat Dread again, with the help of Kamedoon that he and his brother create together. Quite meaningful. Some people complain that even it is a great plot, it is too late to talk about all of these stuff. What they actually want are Majade and Valvarad's power up form, since basically, they're still in their base form right now, while Gotchard get a whole set of upgrade form to final form already. And it's like there are only 7 episode left, yet still nothing close to the finale. I starting to see this type of comment on every episode after this point on, and I feel like... Are you gonna just focus on that point? Well, I'm a bit upset to that Majade still didn't get her upgrade form even through she is a secondary rider, but the point and story they told us was also not bad. It could contribute to the story, or even a first step leading to the finale. I'm gonna wait and see now what's they will bring us into next time. Fun Fact: Kamedoon (カメドーン, Kamedōn) is a Chemy based on a turtle and tank. It is labeled as the 102nd Chemy. Kamedoon is voiced by Kotaro Kawada (川田 琥太郎, Kawada Kōtaro), who also portrayed Sabimaru Tsuruhara as child. As for now, I'm not so sure what it's name come from, but Kame did mean turtle. What's about doon? Why are there double O if it gonna read as dōn? (It seems the correct way to pronounce it is to pronounce "Don" with longer voice, not doon or something like that.)

Alright, when I'm writing the earlier comment, I'm still not finished the episode. After I get back and see Spana rescued Arumi, I feel like that is the wholesome moment, even through it's not that impact, I think it's even better than Sabi and his brother get along once again. Sabi's brother seems to always look down on himself for not able to produce anything, but then Spana, who always arrogant and strict about what they should do or that Chemy can't live with Human, did stated that your research save a life today. I feel like if I'm Sabi's brother, that would be something I always want to hear, something I always want to learn. Like when Almight telling Deku that he can become a hero too, or when Tanjirou avoid stepping on paper or even compliment Kyogai's (The Drum Demon in first season) blood demon art. It was like he's finally recognized by someone that you are something. I believe that everybody is something. They has something special. But it's not like they could just show it, some might never know what they are good at, and with that, they will be like Sabi's brother.

I can see how the situation with his brother rubbed you the wrong way at first! Sabi defeating Dread worked on so many levels! I know the lateness of some of these plots has been an issue with fans, and tbh I get it, although I still love what they're doing. That's such a cool fun fact, good to know! I'm glad the ending of the ep made things better for you! That's so true about everyone being special in their own way!
