Hey everyone! Here it is - my reaction to season two, ep 3 of the Rohan live action series! OMG!!! They did an amazing job with this one - I know it couldn't have been easy to capture the same vibe with all the blood that we know is supposed to be the focal point of this one, but the way they presented it was still really creepy and captured the spirit of the whole thing well!! I also like that we got to see Rohan in the "memories". He def got more than he bargained for though!! And so, that concludes the Mutsu-kabe Hill arc!!! They did a great job tying these all together this season! I can't wait to see what next season holds in store! Enjoy! ~ MH

Rohan’s actor deserves a reward because his rare showcasing of anguish came through so much. This story was already raw and intense that even without the mangas exact amount of gore, it was still able to come through just as horrific in live action. Gunpei also still bubbly a little at the beginning was giving creep vibes. Also, I should be the last person to be speaking on looks, I’d like to think I’m about a 6 (I’d like to think that 🙂‍↕️) but his face was just okay. He must have been feeding off of Nao in order for her to think that. I just couldn’t see it. 🤷‍♂️ I thought it was funny but quietly messed up how they did Izumi here. These parasitic yokai would be lucky to have her as their caretaking hostess 😆 lol another day, another shove out the door. 🎂 I can’t for wait more. I’m really loving these two. They make me laugh. And the stories are so horrifically angsty. I need more. MORE! I hope there’s more added for season 4. 🎂

Hey Melissa, this was a really worthy conclusion to season 2. They did a really good job of translating the OVA episode of the manga into live action without relying too heavily on horror elements. I don't really have that much to say about this episode because it's a really good take on the original. What I found very good, as you mentioned in your video, was that Rohan, even though it was a flashback of another character, was still physically there, as if he was really experiencing it himself by reading it, which I thought was a really creative solution. And I thought the way all the cases in this season were connected was very well written and made sense. I'm really looking forward to seeing what else the series has to offer and whether they'll do more scenarios of their own creation or whether they'll rely more on Araki's manga. All in all, I'm really looking forward to season 3.

Hey Leonie! I'm so glad you think so, me too! I think you're right, they did a good job capturing the horror elements without having to show as much. I'm glad you agree about how they included Rohan! And connecting all the stories was a great way to make it feel cohesive as a season for sure. I know, I can't wait to see what they do with season 3! I'm curious as to where they'll go from here too! :D

OMG I know, he killed it in this one! (No pun intended haha) They did such a good job capturing the intensity of the story without including a lot of the graphic elements! Yeah at first I thought Gunpei was gonna be a little cute and bouncy but he was giving creepy really fast! OMG I'm so glad you said it about his looks, I was kinda thinking the same thing haha, must've been part of the curse or something :P Omg poor Izumi!!! Hahaha who wouldn't want to parasitically attach to her? She's the best :D Hahaha how many shoves out the door does this make now? :P I'm so happy you're enjoying that! OMG SAME!!! I need like 8 more seasons at least haha! I'm really hoping they add more to season 4 as well!!!!
