Hey everyone! Here it is - my reaction to MHA season 7, episode 9!!! Omg!!! They just aren't letting up on the action and tension here! AFO knew just where to strike when trying to get in Endeavor's head, dang. And watching Hawks, Jiro and Tokoyami have a moment was great! They'd BETTER be okay, I swear!!! I also love how inspired everyone was by Shoto's victory, that was really sweet! Can't wait for what's next!!! Great ep! Enjoy! ~ MH

Hi Hime :) My emoji where : 🎧🩸 rather simple to understand I think ^^' Mina protects the prison from the one who traumatized her when she was younger, all hearing those responsible for Midnight's death apparently, and fighting alongside Kirishima, just after Shoto's victory. Her motivation must have skyrocketed and even if she has not been highlighted as much as others like Tsuyu, Ochako or Momo, she remains an excellent fighter (as a reminder, it was she who taught the others to dance , so we can easily guess that she is rather agile) with a quirk that protects her as much as she can do damage to others. I don't want to be in the place of those who would make her angry. Kunieda calls Aoyama "aesop's bat", I read this fable to understand what he meant by that, the bat in this fable by first pretending to be a mouse then a bat escaped twice from predator wanting to eat her. It's a very nice analogy of Aoyama pretending to be a good Class A student to save himself and his parents from being killed by AfO, then pretending to still be loyal to AfO to set a trap for him. Speaking of which, Jiro realizing what Deku and Aoyama had to go through by having the courage to face AfO is well done, because so far only Deku, Bakugo, Momo, Kirishima, Shoto and Aoyama had encountered AfO in person and felt the terror he emits. Continuing on, Jiro has just lost one of her ears... She's not the last one that will be injured, I can unfortunately assure you of that. This is one of the other elements for which we can appreciate Horikoshi, he hurts his characters but does not make them return to normal. We saw her with Deku, Aizawa, Endeavor, Hawks, Mirko and even Bakugo, they all kept the traces of their battles, their bodies are mutilated and covered with scars, proof of the violence of the fights they had to wage, proof that they threw themselves into battle to protect those in whom they believe. We may not appreciate this aspect, I find on the contrary that it gives a certain realism, our heroes do not come out unscathed, their fights have mental but also physical consequences.

I didn’t see where he got hit but Tokoyami bled, and I can’t tell if Jiro lost one of her jacks or her whole left ear! I was so nervous when the two of them charged in, like what are you doing here?! Are you crazy?! And then Endeavor got a chunk taken out of his right side, he already got a hit in the left side and his scar from fighting the Nomu in s4, dude just can’t stop getting hurt! On a brighter note, I really liked seeing everyone’s reactions to the Shoto news. Bakugo actually said his name! I can’t remember if he had before but he finally showed him respect! Really nervous though, like you’re thinking I don’t know if they’d kill one of the kids, but that could be why they also have Hawks as the only other one fighting right now… 😬

I feel like this entire episode is wrapped around the results of the last one. “I feel like we usually don’t just immediately jump into a huge thing in the season.” Ahem, need I remind you S6 literally started with the raid on the hospital and villa and the battle lasted half the season? Anyway, I digress… Shoto’s victory clearly had resounding effects throughout the entire alliance, as well as the enemies as well. For the most part, it seemed to be a positive. Heck, even Bakugo dropped a compliment without using his usual language, I dunno if you noticed. Of course, where it hits the hardest is Endeavor, because deep down, he knows that his kids are in this position because of his mistakes. And All For One is just over here poking the bear. Usually when the villain starts poking you immediately start trying to contradict them, but I saw you squirming over there: “I hate that I can’t argue with any of the stuff he’s saying, because I said it too…” XD I guess this is what they mean by “the truth hurts?” Unfortunately, a side effect of Shoto’s victory seems to be the kids possibly becoming a little TOO emboldened in their beliefs… and Tsukoyomi and Jiro showed up just at the most inopportune and opportune time simultaneously. All For One’s pretty much just been the puppet master for a while, and I think on some level we all started to forget how strong he was in his own right… Remember what that police officer said? “It looks like the plan is off to a good start!” Which immediately means (chuckle) someone’s in danger. The earphones though…. That’s not good… And now we gotta sit on this for two weeks!? Oh, by the way you’re probably already ticked off they went after your birthday Buddy, but he went after Jiro too, which is one of my favorites… so (cocks shotgun) care to join me on a little anti AFO riot since we’ve got some time? 😉 Now it’s personal. XD

I know, there's so much we don't know, but it looks bad! That ending was crazy right! Endeavor takes damage like no one's business lol. I know, the reactions were so sweet! OMG you're right about Bakugo, I didn't even catch that! That's the thing, I'm not really sure what they'll do...!!!

Hi Spadeas! :) Yeah those make sense!!! Good choices lol. I know, Mina's placement was well done here. She's doing so well! Ooooh so that's what the bat comment meant. Right, I'd forgotten that not everyone had really encountered AFO in person. OOF!!! She lost an ear?! Omg...!! So many of them haven't been able to make it out unscathed, that's true. They have scars in every sense of the word!

Lol true, sometimes they do hit the ground running I guess :P I loved how affected everyone was by the victory. That's the thing, there's some awful truth in some of what AFO was saying :/ Ooh, that's a good point that maybe this gave the kids too much confidence? OMG I know, never say something is going well! The earphone :O Two more weeks, ugh! LOL sounds like we both have some personal reasons for hunting down AFO then!!!! :O
