Hey everyone! Here it is - my reaction to season 4, episode 6 of Demon Slayer! Wow guys, this was quite the introspective one!! It was nice to see Genya again and see him help out a bit with Tanjiro's training and perspective! Who knew repetition could be the key to unlocking so much potential?! Meanwhile Zenitsu is, well, I don't think mentally fried begins to cover it! I can't wait to get to know our new Hashira a little better next ep! Great ep! Enjoy! ~ MH

I’m gonna be checked out on vacation the rest of the week, so you won’t hear from me until next week. :) This episode is more about finding your inner strength and using it to better yourself. Of course, some of us are a little better suited to it than others… also calling Zenitsu mentally fried might be calling Tuesday a day of the week. Speaking of mentally fried, Tanjiro’s zeal kind of made a lot of the other Hashira realize they couldn’t do this on the front lines, and they decided to revise themselves to a role they felt more comfortable filling. Genya’s little clue might prove Hamejima might’ve been a little TOO hands off with his training - after all, you do kind of need to let the students know what the application is - I don’t think most people would e figured out “repetitive motion” by themselves. Rengoku: “Set your heart ablaze.” I think Tanjiro might’ve taken that a little TOO literally… Looks like Kibutsuji isn’t just looking for Nezuko - also when I saw him the first time he looked like he was just sitting in a chair reading a newspaper at first, which made me think: you ever wonder what bad guys do to pass the time when the plot doesn’t require their presence for a while? XD Oh! So quick update: there are TWO episodes left in this season according to the updated database, and they will both be longer than regular length. So we’ll be wrapped up here, week after next! Which lines up with the anime season changing.

Have a great time! Hahaha poor Zenitsu, that does seem to be his default state. Tanjiro having an influence on the Hashira is pretty impressive! I mean, I guess it could be part of the lesson to figure out that you need to ask for help? :P LOL Tanjiro literally set himself ablaze :P Hahaha that would've been hilarious if Kibutsuji had been chilling with a newspaper! I wondered the same thing a lot with Dio in Part 3 - like what was he doing to pass the time while everyone was on their way??? (We have a few answers to that now lol....better hope Muzan isn't out here making kids!!!) Oh awesome, thanks for the info! That works out well!

That was a good one. Barely any Stone Hasira but still good. Tanjiro is their real mom. Their muscular mom. I loved Genya helping Tanjiro here. Yeah Ubiyashiki is the masters name. We really haven’t gotten to know him at all. Like nothing. And he’s dying as soon as the training arc starts so it’s understandable not remembering even his name.

Glad you liked it! Lol he totally is, I love it! Also nice to see Genya helping! Thanks for being understanding about the Master's name, I had a gut feeling but just couldn't quite remember lol! Yeah we don't know too much about him do we? Guess we'll find out!

I always hyped for Demon Slayer first op and the previous season op, but I don't seems to like this one that much, and I realized that I don't remembering it very well. So I try watching it again. I discovered that during the opening sequence of the theme, they put 5 newest geneation of Demon Slayers: Tanjiro, Zenitsu, Inosuke, Genya, and Kanao, plus Nezuko in front of everyone. They seems to be the hope and the most important character. But interestingly, I don't see Kanao having much important role. She seems to be just there, as a genius newer generation Demon Slayer. You know what? When Zenitsu and Genya runn8ng in the very first moment of the op, Kanao was even there, outrunning even Inosuke. I have to slow it down to the slowest to see her. Well... it seems that she is the main focus on the newest movie poster, so maybe, she will gains focus there. If I recall correctly, those new generation Demon Slayers (I keep calling them that 'cause I don't know their official name, they might not even have one) are all specialized in each of 5 senses. Tanjiro for Smelling, Zenitsu for hearing, Inosuke for Body Sensing (He used his sense in the battle with the Spider family), and Genya for tasting. (He ate demons) If this is true, then Kanao might have immense eye sight. I don't know how much she can see, but that will defnitely no ordinary eye sight. What do you think her eyes do? Looking to amazingly far place, look into people minds, or the eyez that analyze all?

I'm sorry to hear that but I get it! I like Kanao but we haven't seen as much of her yet as I'd expect! I'm sure she'll get more focus in the future like you said. Oooh now there's a though, her eyes are a big part of her design so that might make sense! I guess we'll have to wait and see!!!

Come to think of it, Kanao told Shinobu that she's gonna be trained under the Wind Hashira, which is somehow the second to last training. And Tanjiro, during that time, was still not participated in even the first training. Somehow, she shows up in the opening which seems to be Uzui's training, and both Zenitsu, Inosuke, and Genya also there. It might be that all 4 of them joined the training at the same time, but progressed to the next training ground differently. Kanao might be the one who finished them all really quick, while Genya and Inosuke a little bit faster than Zenitsu, since we saw Zenitsu and Genya at Shinazugawa's place, but we don't see Inosuke, as he procede to the final training already, and as Tanjiro goes there, Genya claims he's already moved the rock. Wait, I have no doubt that Kanao would run quickly, strike smoothly, practicing elasticity, strike accurately with no fear, and even on par with the Wind Hashira. But she's moving the rock? Also, both Genya and Muichiro showing a lot of character development, that I almost felt like I missed something. I don't like Genya very much when he appear at the final selection, and I see him still like that at the village, but now, he's so tender and friendly, especially with Tanjiro.

Oh that's a good point about the timing! I could definitely see Kanao doing all those things! And yes, I'm loving the character development too!!!
