Hey everyone! OMG!!! Just when you think things can't get any more bizarre, here we go with a batch about Pork Pie Hat Kid, Diego's backstory, dinosaurs, and more corpse parts!!! Sheesh!!! The action here was great and I loved seeing Johnny and Gyro get closer. I also love that Johnny is starting to gain some kind of hope/purpose for his life. And Dio's new ability is pretty dino-namic :P Hahaha cmon, he'd love that pun based on the dad jokes he was throwing around earlier! Not to mention the SADDEST of backstories, omg!!! Baby Diego was sooo cute :(((((((((( He deserved so much better!!! I can't wait for more! Enjoy! ~ MH

Hi Hime :) Quote from my comment under Golden Wind ep 16 "the grateful dead part 2" on November the 20th, because Trish talk about stand for the first time and you see a giant footprint on the ground, who looked like a dinosaur footprint. "A stand about dinosaurs would be both cool and terrifying, don't you think ? But even more terrifying is to imagine who could have this kind of stand. I can't say too much, whether a stand like this exists or not, but believe me, it's hard to hold back hehe." So there you have it, I no longer need to hold back now, you have your answer ^^. Regarding Diego, I must say that I appreciate his design much more than DIO. Maybe because I really like the slightly bluish green, but I like the general design much more. Speaking of design, lil Diego has several bow ties on his outfit in the flashback, if you look closely, adult Diego also has a bow tie on his helmet. Besides, I'm going to correct you, Diego has the saddest backstory... yet. Because from memory, there is a certain character, who suffered much more than Diego as a child and I think you are going to have difficulty with this flashback.

This is what I love about Steel Ball Run. While Johnny is more of a sarcastic jerk than Jonathan ever was, Deigo certainly has more humanity in him than Dio ever had. Sure his father had abandoned him and his mother, but his mother had shown him so much kindness when she was around. Which team will he end up on, or would he end up just like DIO? The answer might surprise you. And of course Araki could have probably had the grand return of Vampire DIO in the form of Vampire Deigo, he could have just given him some version of The World... But nope, let's homage Vampire Dio... BUT LET'S MAKE HIM A DINOSAUR. So out of left field. I haven't seen the full review yet, but I hope you notice the 'DIO' pattern on Dinosaur Deigo. o; Reminds me of that one Spider-Man villain who likes turning people into Dinosaurs. At one point Spider-Man figures out the villain does it and he's like: "Dude, you could use that cure cancer!" And the villain straight up says: "But I don't WANT to cure cancer! I want to turn people into Dinosaurs!" ...Also I'd imagine during the time of Steel Ball Run, that information WAS available... But I doubt it was something taught commonly in schools. Like it'd probably be something that you would have to go out of your way to research, or something you'd stumble upon a Museum. From Johnny's attitude and his life-style up until this point... I can him see him not knowing. xD Tusk is a cute little stand. He's all like: "Chumimi~in!" It's adorable. I'm sure there has to be a plushie available for it.

These were good! First, I live for the moments like it being confirmed to Johnny that Gyro was a good guy. He already knew he was cool people but it’s moments like this solidified at the beginning that makes one really love and cherish the bond going forward even more. I just love that. 💕 I know little about the president but I’m shocked he has a heart at all, let alone the messiah’s. Jesus didn’t die for that. 🙏 😔 Dang it he does look a tiny Giorno. Diego is definitely his own character but idk what to make about his characteristics here, prior dinosaur lol. I think he’s definitely kinder than the other but has dio-ish tendencies a little. Some of his actions you found cute just made me think you have freaky taste but then that backstory. I fell for him a bit. Why is it parents are either so super decent or complete nasties? The mom was alright. Idk why she had to slap him. Maybe she thought the action was beneath them but still. He’s so cute and helpful. When he grabbed the shoe in glee… 😖💓 Darn it, now I’m crying. I can’t write anymore now. I’ll see you next week. 😭

Hi Spadeas! :) OHHHHHH I remember that now! Hahaha it took a while but the pay off on that one was pretty good! We finally have our dinosaur Stand! I like his design too, and the designs in general in this part look really good. Awww I didn't even notice the little bows!!! Oh no, there's another backstory that's even sadder? Is it in this part?! I'm not prepared!!!

That's actually so true, we lost a lot of the unwavering gentleman-ness of Jonathan's character but yet Dio has a lot more layers and likeable qualities. I really, really hope that he ends up at least better than Dio! I think he might have actually been better off without the abusive father, and his mother was mostly pretty good to him when she was with him. She certainly cared for him a lot. I'm really hoping he'll be a solidly decent side character, maybe not quite a JoBro....but not Dio either lol! HAHAHA making him a dinosaur was so extra, I'd expect nothing less from Araki!!! I did in fact notice the Dio pattern, I actually made a note of it on screen since I forgot to mention it while talking! OMG please tell me that is an actual line from the Spider-Man villain!!! Like there's petty, there's selfish...and then there's that haha. Gotcha, I honestly wasn't sure how much people knew about dinosaurs at that time, but yeah, I suppose it makes sense that at the very least it wouldn't be common knowledge or something. I LOVE Tusk so much!!!! He's so cute!!! I def need a plushie!!!

Yay! So glad you enjoyed them! OMG right?! Like those friendship/bonding moments are everything! I couldn't agree more! Yeah, it's pretty ironic that someone who's clearly being established as a sleazy villain has the heart of Jesus :/ He for sure didn't die for that!! Doesn't he look like a tiny Giorno?! My heart! I think you're right, he still has a bit of a ruthless streak and a lot of arrogance, similar to where we find Dio in Phantom Blood. But yet he seems to have a bit more layers/humanity in his character too. Hahahahaha I do have freaky taste, I'll admit it!!! :P The backstory right?!!?! Seriously, like why is it all or nothing with the parents...! The mom was definitely overall a really great influence in his life and she loved him a lot. The slap was so uncalled for lol but yeah, I guess she was trying to teach him a lesson about their dignity and all. OMG the shoe scene!!! His happy little face!!! I don't know what Araki did with his art style in this one, but he went full overdrive with the child cuteness!!!!! Ahhhhh I hear you, I couldn't stop crying over his backstory too!!!!
