Hey everyone!  Here it is - my reaction to episode 23 of Frieren!  Oh wow, we're really taking on this scary dungeon! I think I was kinda right that this was meant to be more of a team effort and the more competitive/combative nature of many of the participants here haven't quite realized that. I also love that Frieren is just here for a good time lol!! Himmel's influence can still be felt!! I find the concept of the doppelgangers really interesting, but WOW, what kind of a chance do we stand against a Frieren copy?!!?!? Guess we'll find out! Great ep!  Enjoy!  ~ MH

I’ll just leave this here: none of this is going to go the way you think it will. 🙃 Regarding what you’re asking about with the opening theme, I believe the term you’re looking for musically is rhythm. It could also be called a beat. I guess we knocked some… Sense into you because you remembered her name? 😆 What you seemed to have glossed over is that the mages, while they should be working together - are hesitant to. The reason is because that the first test kind of frayed their trust - after competing against each other to the point of possibly taking them out - trust is hard to rekindle. As a counterpoint: how’d you feel if Gon and Hisoka had to team up? It’s kinda like that. Okay, there are some beautiful ships on this show: Himmel x Frieren, Stark x Fern - but the most iconic and passionate is definitely Frieren x Mimic, because she just can’t quit them. Did anyone get trash compactor vibes from the spiked wall scene? Also I don’t think golems would get you out of traffic. Himmel’s approach to the dungeon is kind of like his approach to life: enjoy what you’re doing while you’re doing it, you never know what’s next. Frieren has kind of picked up on that - and while Fern isn’t consciously aware of it, because Frieren is enjoying the journey, so is she. Sense did make some interesting observations about Fern and her level of strength. She’s not unmotivated, she just isn’t sure exactly what it is driving her. Oh, and the replicas are here - and remember what Wirbel’s group said; they gave the same level of nana and abilities as who they’re copying. I don’t blame Denken for wanting to break his bottle after seeing a replica of Frieren lol.

Aw Frieren is enjoying her time while Fern is enjoying watching them enjoy, like Frieren and Himmel.

Whoa! Can't wait to see what that means :) Yeah rhythm/beat sounds right, I just know there's a phrase for when it's exactly like *that*. Like not 3/4 time but something like that maybe? HAHAHAHAHAH I finally came to my....senses???? :P That's true, they've been put in a position where they were encouraged not to trust each other, which isn't helping. HAHAHAHAH Frieren x Mimic is clearly the best ship :P Oh yeah, total trash compactor scene vibes! That's so true, Himmel's all about enjoying the journey, Frieren has adopted that, and Fern is quickly following. That's true, I think Sense has a point that Fern is motivated, she's just not fully aware of what her motivations are. Hahahaha dude I would've broken that bottle so fast!!!!
