BSC 11-03: Hi-Res (Patreon)

The lighting on this page is a lot simpler than the previous one, but it was still fun to figure out how to clearly convey that  lightning is happening just off-screen in the first panel.

Also, has everyone seen that new Avatar live action series on Netflix? I'm assuming it's a big part of why this won the poll... Shortcake stories focused on franchises that have a recent or upcoming adaptation tend to do better in the polls. I liked it, for the most part, but it definitely felt weaker than the original series... I think a big part is the cast. In the cartoon you had professional voice actors who only needed to convey emotions through their voice, but for a live action series they needed to hire actors who 1: Resemble the characters. 2: Are capable of handling elaborate stunts. 3: Also perform well. Especially since the majority of the primary cast are pretty young... I think with that in mind, they did a pretty good job, but also it's kind of a bad sign if you have to give a whole list of caveats  to justify the performances.
