Unrelated to the page above, but my wife and I have been rewatching the classic 90's X-Men cartoon, since the sequel series is coming out soon on Disney+.  I think what really sticks out to me about that series, compared to later adaptations, is how much stuff just shows up without rejiggering it to make more sense for a mutant-focused series. Like... Juggernaut is not a mutant in the comics, but plenty of X-Men adaptations make him a mutant because most adaptations are set in a world where other super powers don't exist... if anyone has powers, it's because they're a mutant. They also constantly reference stuff from the comics that don't really get expanded on... like Deadpool will occasionally be seen in Wolverine's visions when he's remembering his past, but he doesn't actually speak or get any explanation, he's just a guy who Wolverine used to know.
