I'm kind of enjoying focusing on how Astrid is clearly enjoying herself, even if she's not showing it outwardly.

It's mostly a pride thing. It's one of the differences between Anastasia and Bianca... Anastasia is perfectly happy to just manipulate people magically to get the reaction she wants, but Bianca would rather it get it herself.
