Karen's outfit was inspired by a hentai manga I saw a few weeks ago. I don't remember what series it was from... maybe Kancolle? I think you could guess that any hentai you find is from Kancolle or Touhou Project and you'll be correct more times than you're wrong. I have no idea why... I think that they're both light on story, so I guess there's a lot of room for fans to insert their own interpretations of the characters.
