Banana Shortcake 9: Birds of Gay: Hi-Res Cover (Patreon)

I decided to use the recent Harley Quinn cartoon as reference for the characters' appearance... I'm not really basing their personalities on that series, since there are some major changes to them. I really like that series, but their version of Ivy is more of a sarcastic smartass, as opposed to a sultry seductress, and Harley is more insecure and needy. Plus I don't particularly like the more pastel colors they use for Harley's hair and makeup... I think she looks better with darker colors.

Anyway, I still need to write the script for this story. All I've come up with so far is a very loose concept and the pun for the title... I think when Harley, Ivy, and Catwoman work together they're usually called the Gotham City Sirens, but Harley and Catwoman have both been considered Birds of Prey and the pun is just easier with that name.

Also, it's been pointed out to me that it wasn't obvious that this wasn't a futa story when I listed it in the poll options, and I still do want this to be not a full-on futa story. But luckily Alinoris, who pitched this story in the first place, also came up with a solid compromise, since Ivy's plant powers can be used pretty creatively.

My plan is to work on the script tomorrow, so just a heads up that there won't be any comic tomorrow while I work on that instead.
