So I'm a little worried about my ability to continue to work on the comic for a living in the future. I love having the opportunity to create art and actually pay my bills and get food, but it's a bit odd that, as I feel that the comic is improving in art and in writing, we're also starting to actually make less through Patreon each month. I've started selling the comic through Mikandi, but despite actually getting help from the Mikandi creator to spread word of the comic through their front page I still haven't really gotten any money from it. I worry because I feel like there's not much more I can physically produce art-wise for the comic while still maintaining a solid schedule.

One thing I'm thinking of doing is producing short stories between chapters... I'd actually like to do some fan comics, but I can't fully justify it since it would take time away from the comic. But what do you all think? What if between each chapter I started drawing fan comics, either for shows or video games, or maybe even other webcomics? Would you want to see that, or would you rather just see more of BCC? If people are interested I'm thinking it would be decided, similar to Side Dishes, through fan suggestions and polls. Although with the difference of being deliberately short stories, instead of going off votes per-page. So does anyone think that's a good idea? And if so, what franchise do you think would be good to draw some fan comics for? I feel like fan works tend to get more attention... Rainbow Flyer has actually gotten a lot of support for her own work based on fans of some Pokemon and DC fan comics she drew.

To me I am curious because I want to the full range of your artstyle is, but I am a interested I wonder how you are going to pull it off story, plot, or theme wise. I wonder what fan things you can do when comes comics, video games, anime/manga, or original design comics. But also keep spreading the word of your comic I am pretty sure there is a lot of sources or ones you can go back to that havent seen your work yet.

I personally have very niche tastes as I am sure you are all aware, If I had to say something more mainstream though maybe with SFV coming around an R.Mika X Yamato Nadeshiko fan comic would be fun, even more so given you have expressed an interest in her before. If not then I would not mind some thing more interesting and fun like a collab between artists you are friendly with and even some that they are friendly with... For Example A vague concept like Treasure Hunters then you each design a single character for it. after that they draw a page, then you draw a page, hand it over to the next artist and they progress the scene in a way that feels natural to them and on the next artist and by the time it gets back to you it would be fun to see how different it is to what you imagined, it would also be a fun challenge to try and keep the art semi consistent between you all xP It also is seen as marketing for everybody involved as all your names are listed on the work and it is much less work then doing it solo. It seems like a good idea to me if you invovle the right people... Still I am just weird xD
