I always have trouble keeping track of Kat's tattoos. I actually had this page entirely inked and scanned and I was ready to send it off to CGI before I realized that her tattoo wasn't visible in the last panel, so I had to fix it digitally. That's also partly why Kat doesn't actually have more tattoos... I think it would be a good look for her, but I don't trust myself to be able to keep track of them well enough to look right in the comic on every page or I'd be worried about forgetting them between pages. I think most artists struggle with this idea when it comes to tattooed characters... each tattoo is basically art unto itself, so giving someone good looking, realistic tattoos can really add to the workload on illustrations. I think that's why cartoons and such usually just simplify it down to the Mom Heart tattoo on a characters shoulder to imply the general idea of tattoos moreso than just including proper tats
