This was a pretty fun pinup to work on. This was the pinup CGI got for donating over $50/month to the Patreon, and he's actually even more involved with this pinup than usual (which is saying something, since he flats pretty much everything I work on). Anyway, he had the idea to adjust the colors a bit to make this look more like a vintage pinup. So I pretty much rendered this pinup the way I normally do, then sent the PSD file to CGI and he adjusted things like the saturation and hue to make it look even more like a classic 50's pinup. He even made adjustments to the linework to help downplay it a bit, since most classic 50's pinups don't have linework. I've also attached my original, unedited pinup... you can see that this version is a lot more colorful and attractive. I've also included a lot of the sketches from early on, so you can see the evolution of the pinup. You can see in the first progress sketch that the idea for this initially was just to have an image of a girl on giant food, so I threw together a few super rough sketches and CGI picked out the one he liked. We basically settled on the image of a girl sitting on sundae, and from there we made the pose more exciting, and he decided on Lily as the girl for the picture.
