Side Dishes: Chapter 2: Page 25 (Patreon)

This option won pretty handily in the latest poll. I wasn't certain entirely whether or not including the characters' names in the polls would affect the decision, but I hope it's not an issue. I wasn't sure if the exposition was too heavy handed in the first panel, but with a weekly comic like this sometimes you just have to go a little heavy on plot to keep things moving.

For those who don't recognize her, that's Gothin's character, Eve, at the end of the page, who you may recognize from this pinup. I had intended to include her as a member of the Nah-Ri tribe from fairly early on, since I felt her piercings matched well with Kat's. I had an idea that I hadn't really found a way to fit into the story, and I thought  I would like to get your opinions on this idea: since the Nah-Ri tribe sort of bans ejaculation by their tribe members, those who fail to resist the "temptations of the cock" are marked by piercings. So each piercing would represent a time when they lost control and got caught jacking off or something. You can see that one of the Nah-Ri girls in the first panel has a piercing  on her balls, but you can't see too much of the other girls.

So now we have the three demon girls... Sindra, Feuille, and Aqua Vert. We also establish in this page that Anastasia is still just Anastasia in this series (as opposed to "Ha-Na"). I figured since we've basically accepted the setup that Bianca and Anastasia are from off the island and have simply been transformed into futas by the monster girls that she would simply have a European name. Although I suppose it's still possible, if we go by one of the suggestions, that their eternal life doesn't also have eternal memory, that she might be using a different name by now.

Amongst the monster girls I kind of felt I had to add a few extra features to Feuille to keep her from looking too human. I mentioned before that I focused more on the idea of a wood nymph over the basic suggestion of an elf, since I don't personally consider elves to be "monster girls". So to keep her from just being a human with pointy ears and leaves in her hair I've also given her distinctly different eyes, and added greenish highlights onto her body to help make her look a bit more plantlike. The initial prompt for this page simply had the Monster Girls communicating telepathically, but I felt that kind of left Feuille out of this page a little. Sindra gets to show off her strength by showing a line of girls she's fucked into submission, and Aqua Vert shows off her shapeshifting powers as the body suit. So it made sense to me for Feuille to get a chance to show off her control of plants by using a pair of flowers as communication devices. I also wanted to establish that she doesn't have full control over the plants of the island at the moment... I feel like that would make her a little too overpowered for the rest of the comic if she can just effortlessly take complete control over every plant on the island, but I'm sure all the monster girls probably aren't at full strength either.
