14-15: Early Access (Patreon)

Today has been a trial, if I could call it anything. Or yesterday, I guess, since it's past midnight now. The air conditioning has been down at my apartment complex all day, and to make matters worse the water was turned off all day as well. Apparently the water is tied into the A/C system, so they had to turn it off just to work on it (I don't really know how Air Conditioning works). On top of that it was over 100 degrees farenheit outside, so I was basically baking in my own house. Working on the comic was a challenge just because my hands and forearm were unusually sweaty while working in pen and paper, which put a lot of unpleasant smudges on this page that I had to clean up before sending it to CGI to flat. Then to make matters worse my computer overheated twice and had to be shut down to keep from damaging anything, though luckily I had saved my file recently each time so I didn't lose too much progress. Either way, I had to just sit back and wait for my laptop (yeah, I work on a laptop) to cool off. I actually have an ice pack in my freezer, theoretically just held onto in case I or my wife have an injury that needs an ice pack, which I placed against the laptop to help it cool back down to normal. Which is especially weird because this is actually a fairly simple page, all things considered.

Sorry if I ranted a bit too much, this has just been a frustrating day and it's nice to be able to talk about it. Even now I'm planning to shut my computer off again after this page goes up, just to help my computer cool off completely before I try to use it again.
