13-28: Early Access (Patreon)

I know that I've talked about this before, but when Dr. Sharktopus first pitched this story to me Karen was intended to be the main love interest. Lily wasn't even a fully fleshed out character initially... all he knew was that Jenna had an assistant and she was attractive enough to cause Jenna distractions. I did all the design work for Lily, and  ended up coming up with most of her character traits and personality. I guess since I've mostly taken over as head writer as I've invested myself more in this story (Dr. Sharktopus still comes up with most of the ideas, but I've basically got final say in what actually goes on the page), I've also started to kind of steer more toward Lily as the primary love interest, and giving more attention to the relationship between Kat and Karen. That's another big change from the earlier pitch... at first Kat was only using Karen to get close to Jenna, but fairly early on we both started to realize it makes for a much more interesting story for Kat to have real feelings for Karen, and for there to some conflict between her emotions and her mission.
