BCC 30-19: Hi-Res Early Access (Patreon)

 I got an early start on today's page so that I could be ready for tonight, since I've got tickets to see Godzilla later tonight. I've been seeing a lot of movies lately, but I haven't talked about them too much because I feel like i don't really have that much insight to add. But I'm really excited for this movie... I've always been a huge fan of Godzilla ever since I was a kid... this movie has me really excited. I quite enjoyed the previous Godzilla film from Legendary... I'm used to the Godzilla formula enough that I wasn't really bothered by a story that was kind of slow and boring with like... 10 minutes of actual Giant Monster action. But I'm pretty eager to see this film partly based on its negative reviews, which have mostly said that it's a lot of big goofy action without a lot of human story... and that's pretty much exactly what I want from a Godzilla film. I'm probably more excited for this movie than I was for Avengers, if I'm being honest.
