BCC 29-38: Hi-Res Early Access (Patreon)

I mentioned the other day I was going out to see Hellboy... I feel like it's not a good movie, but I enjoyed it. I think the best summary of the film itself is the first scene... Hellboy in Tijuana fighting a vampire Luchador.  A lot of info is dumped on you and the writing kind of assumes you're already familiar with Hellboy and his stories, and it ends with some intense melodrama where you just kind of have to trust that the emotional response is appropriate, since it's based on characters the audience never meets. But still... fuckin' Vampire Luchadors! How Hype is that shit? Besides that, I'm Ride or Die for Hellboy, so keep in mind that this is mostly coming from a Hellboy fanboy.

Also... I bought Nintendo Labo VR! That's actually why this is going up later than usual... I had the page mostly finished, decided to take a break to put something together... and it ended up taking too long to make. I'll probably talk more about it after I play with it a bit more, but so far I feel like I've gotten $40 worth of novelty out of it... and also, if you get one... be real careful not to get the lenses dirty because they're a pain in the ass to clean and even a little eyelash or something is incredibly distracting.
