BCC 28-26: PSD (Patreon)

I got back from seeing Us earlier, and it was a Hell of a ride. It had lots of twists and subversions, but never anything that felt like it was just a twist for twist's sake or that defied the movie's own internal logic. I think this is also another movie that will be easy to nitpick for people who think overly literally and take everything at face value, but it's a movie that kept me guessing and that I couldn't stop talking about once my wife and I got in the car.

Speaking of twists and reveals, we finally know the name of the Moon Goddess. Or at least, the name that Kat believes to be her true name. I knew that there was a Moon Goddess in Wiccan culture, so at first I was just going to look that up and use that name for her... but it turns out that Wiccan culture appears to just call her "The Goddess", which doesn't quite work with what I'm going for. I ended up using a name from a European Pagan religion, since I felt like that's what the witches in this story are closest to.
