BCC 28-20: Hi-Res (Patreon)

My wife and I are heading out to see Captain Marvel later tonight. I wasn't totally sold on this one at first... I do have a habit of seeing most of the Marvel movies opening night, but Captain Marvel is one of those characters I'm not really familiar with... well that's not true... I'm familiar with the Captain Marvel run focused on Genis-Vell (son of the original Captain Marvel), but I haven't read many of the stories with Carol Danvers as the Captain. But what clinched it for us was an early trailer showing her powered up form with the flaming mohawk. Plus I've gotta support Samuel L. Jackson... if nothing else we're guaranteed to see some kind of nastiness go down where he loses his eye, so that ought to be fun. This is one of those movies that, even if I didn't see it opening night, I'd still go out of my way for at some point just so I can be ready for the next Avengers film, but it's got enough cool stuff that I'll deal with the opening night crowds.
